Great!

Beautiful property, quiet neighborhood, and the owners were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. My son caught crabs the whole weekend and husband did some fishing from the dock. Will plan to attend in the future. People at the pool were nice as well.

In one word, this property is perfect! There were 5 of us on the trip this year, and this was by far, the best place we’ve ever stayed. They’ve thought of everything to make this your home away from home. The owners are there for you, checked in on us, and made sure we had everything we needed. This home is in a gated community, on one of the many canals, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You can sit on the dock and fall asleep by the lull of the water, which I did every day. The crab traps caught so many crabs we lost count. My son spent time fishing off the dock, while my daughter and her friend spent time sunbathing.We plan to stay here in the future and if you stay here, you won’t regret it!

Perfect Place

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Outer Banks. The home is in a gate community just a stone's throw away from the Wright Brothers' Memorial and in easy driving distance of most of the places to visit in the Outer Banks. We did make the drive to Hatteras, but did not take the ferry over to Ocracoke, as that would have been a bit too far for the children in our group.The home was perfect our size family (two adults, five children) and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Colington Harbour

Beautiful clean cozy home with gorgeous views of the water. Relaxing getaway, even in the chilly weather. We enjoyed the beach, Aquarium, Kitty Hawk Kites and hiking at the nearby woods preserve. Would love to come back and kayak. Family is very kind, allowing us to open a brand new game.

Totally Fab!

This is a fantastic, roomy house along a beautiful canal. We enjoyed spending time on the various decks and rooms. It's tastefully and warmly decorated. Comfortable and clean, and the photos do not lie. We enjoyed just relaxing I this quiet and clean community, kayaking the many canals, and having some gear (kayaks, chairs, small beach towels) as part of the rental. We loved this home! Saw a little northern lights and the comet during our stay. Also - the washer/dryer and fridge/freezer, master shower were big and beautiful. This home has lots of personality and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone (as long as they can do steps). We wish we could have stayed longer! There wasn't much communication via VRBO site, but we did receive good info sent directly to us by text before we left, and direct communication was very good!

Quaint and great outside space

I took my 97 year old mom who spent time in the Nags Head area in her youth. The owner did a nice job and renovating the living area—great kitchen. Lots of outdoor deck space for privacy and games. Overlooks waterway with a beautiful dock. The 3 kayaks made it a lot of fun as we boated into the Sound. Safe and secure neighborhood with the neighborhood feel and close enough to beach and wright brother memorial.

Beautiful get away

It was a wonderful quick relaxing getaway, The house was lovely had everything you needed. Dock was awesome enjoyed sitting out on it and watch the boats

Quiet getaway

This was a perfect place for friends to gather and enjoy a fun and relaxing atmosphere. The house is beautiful! The dock was convenient for friends to pull up with their boats. I would definitely stay here again! Amazing views!

Spacious and beautiful

Very spacious property with a beautiful view. Super comfortable beds and the use of Kayaks, bikes and cornhole was a great ammenity. We had 4 adults and 2 teens with plenty of room for all.

Good location

The weather did not work in our favor at all. However, all was not lost b/c the home was cozy and we enjoyed a different type vacation inside. We passed the time playing games and reading in the interior room where we could see the canal. We watched tv comfortably on the couch. The owner communicated and helped us with any questions. I would return and if the weather worked out better, would be excited to try out the kayaks!

Beautiful peaceful area

The property was beautiful and peaceful. Very well maintained and very clean and welcoming. My husband and i really enjoyed the tree frogs that came along at night. The milultiple deck areas to relax and dine were nice. Kitchen had a lot of things if you wanted to cook. The outdoor shower is nice, though we did not use it. Lots of recreational items. Owner gave us info about activities during thw lle week. It was nice to be able to adjust temperatures for air conditioner! we've stayed in tenneesee where it was limited and we were uncomfortably hot trying to sleep. Locals were all friendly and waved as we drove by. Kind people everywhere! Very nice and would stay here again!

Beautiful Home - Perfect Location

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this lovely home over the Thanksgiving holiday. This home is so cozy & comfortable. We cooked most of our meals in the kitchen that had all of the utensils, pots & pans & dishes needed to make complete meals. The home was spacious for our group of 4 adults that we were able to relax in the living room, family room & enclosed porch. The beds were super comfortable. The master bathroom was nicely updated. The location is great - only 15-20 minutes to all of the places we wanted to visit.

Family Weekend

We had such a great time staying here. My husband and I came down with our baby. My inlaws came over to stay with us too. We had a great time on the docks, caught some crab and fish, and really enjoyed the views from the deck. The rooms were lovely, and the property had all the small touches that make a stay great. We will be trying to stay again!
