By far cleanest place we’ve ever stayed!
From the time I booked until the time we left the communication with Jill was awesome. She recommended a few things that helped us a lot. She was gone during our stay and her house sitter Denise was super sweet and helpful with questions. My husband and I travel a lot and we always stay in a rental property instead of a hotel. This is truly the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Everything we needed was available, kitchen items and towels and anything else you could possible need is there. The sunsets from the upper deck was so nice and the pool… oh the pool, Incredible!!! The beds were very comfortable. We are planning to return in a few years and will book with Jill again.

Cane Bay Paradise!
The property location was breathtaking and a convenient walk to the beach. The home is stocked with everything you need for a fun and relaxing beach vacation. Decor is absolutely perfect and the pool and deck were a favorite for us. We loved it here so much and hope to come back again soon. Jill is the perfect host and made us feel right at home. Amazing stay!!!

Best Spring Break Ever!
We had an amazing time in St. Croix and at Jill's place. The home was wonderful - just as described, but more amazing in person. The way the water hits the rocks below and soothes you to sleep each night is so calming. The house was well stocked with anything we needed for the beach or the pool. One of our favorite things was watching sunset at night from the upper deck. We also enjoyed the pool several afternoons after the beach and before dinner. We also liked the location as it was very close to local casual restaurants and a really nice restaurant. Cane Bay Beach is just down the road and a wonderful place to hang out and snorkel. In addition to all of this, Jill was an exceptional host. We saw her daily and chatted, but she always was respectful of our space. Jill shared many insights for snorkeling in great locations and recommendations on other activities. She is also an amazing underwater photographer with some of her pictures on display in the house! We hope to be back soon!

What a wonderful place!
This location exceeded all of our expectations. Jill was a lovely host. The house & pool were fantastic. And the setting was truly amazing. It was great to sleep hearing the waves crashing over the rocks below all night long. The place was very tidy and had everything we needed. Two very large bedrooms offered plenty of space an privacy but the covered deck/porch overlooking the water was the show stopper. It was about a quarter mile or so from the dive shop we were using for our certification so it was super convenient for our needs. The beach was immaculate and amazing. What a perfect vacation property. We’ll be back.

fabulous stay!
Jill was wonderful and will take great care of you while you stay at this updated lovely house. The view is spectacular right on the water. The pool is lovely and a great size and always clean!! Jill, the owner that lives on the property is so helpful and answers all your questions yet doesn't pester you!! This is a great location.

Perfect place in Cane Bay
My husband and I and another couple stayed at Cane Bay Sanctuary for 9 nights. The house was beautiful with 2 very large rooms. The house came with everything you would need for a beach vacation. The outdoor deck area was great to relax and listen to the waves crashing against the rocks. The pool area is large and very relaxing and a great place to cool off. The location of the home was excellent. Only a 30 minute drive to either Christianstead or Fredericksted. Jill was an excellent host! She was always checking in on us, giving great recommendations for excursions, companies to work with and restaurants. Her adorable dog Zuri lit up our days! She is very fun albeit shy. We would absolutely stay here again to Visit the island and to see Jill and Zuri!

Absolutely beautiful home and location!
We absolutely loved this property! Jill was such an amazing host and her property is like no other. Our friends that we traveled with have stayed at multiple properties in St.Croix and said that this property was hands down their favorite. You can't beat the views, pool and amenties that this property has to offer. We cannot wait to return and stay at this home again!

Amazing stay at Cane Bay Sanctuary
The property was as beautiful and more! We’ve stayed in several vacation rentals and this by far was the most equipped. From the beach towels, to coolers everything we could have needed was provided by Jill. The house and property was super clean and very well maintained. There were a variety of restaurants close by and a beautiful beach as well. This home was in a great location to see all they the island has to offer. I would highly recommend this home and would love to return.

Loved Cane Bane Sanctuary
Had a wonderful time in St Croix staying at Cane Bay Sanctuary. Jill was the best and has the most beautiful home. Could not ask for any more amenities. She shared suggestions for places to go and eat. Was on target with everyone of them. We enjoyed meeting Zuri her new adopted dog. She is such a sweet dog. The location is perfect in Cane Bay. Will stay again if we get back to St. Croix.

Can’t wait to return
We had a lovely time at Jill’s place. She had everything we needed. Gear for the beach, cooking supplies, the works. The home is clean and beautifully decorated including some of her own underwater photography. It is very much right on the ocean and we enjoyed the crashing waves and beautiful views. Best Getaway
We had a phenomenal time staying with Jill ! We were looking for a relaxing house, close to the beach but also amazing views to enjoy from home. The kitchen was fully stocked, we made several meals together and had no issues with supplies/utensil. The grill was amazing. The area was very safe, and we felt very at home. Jill was great at communicating and making us feel like we had everything we needed. Could not say enough good things at how perfect our stay was here!

Peaceful Portal
Jill; From the moment we were greeted by you at Cane Bay Sanctuary on our first evening, a weight was lifted. A sense of peace and calm with a little bit of childlike excitement came over us. Your CBS was just what the doctor ordered. You made us feel as if we were "home" at CBS during our stay. The ever-present continuum of the soothing ocean waves were incredible. We enjoyed the company of Whiskey and Cyrus. Thank you for your information and tips about the island. What a wonderful surprise on our last night! St Croix Paradise
The pictures don’t do this place justice! The house was very clean and well stocked. We could not get over the views or the pool area as they were spectacular. Jill, the owner and her two dogs are wonderful hosts. Jill was able to provide us with some excellent places to visit and dine. We would happily stay here again! Best deal on the island.

I have to say this was an all time favorite of our entire group. The house is as listed and even better upon arrival. Jill simply put, is amazing. She was my soul sister from day one. She’s not just an incredible human and an excellent host but she’s focused on all the right things to live consciously. She has all the info on where to go, what to see/do and where to eat. Perfect Getaway

Breathtaking property!
We loved staying at Jill's magnificent oceanfront home. It was incredibly comfortable with a great mid-island location, easy parking, dramatic views and 2 fuzzy property managers to keep you in check (bribes in the form of dog treats accepted)! BEST VRBO EVER!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week and are so appreciative of our hosts Jill, Cyrus and Whiskey in helping to make our vacation so relaxing and carefree. Jill was always available if we had questions or needed a suggestion regarding restaurants, beaches, etc. And, eventhough her home is adjacent to the pool, we had all of the privacy we needed. Our vacation home was just as the photos show, clean, bright, comfortable, great views. The pool was well used. We spent a lot of time under the shelter at one end of the pool...it has an amazing view of the ocean, sky and views of very distant islands. We would certainly recommend Jill's VRBO to anyone desiring a quiet and relaxing break. Jill, thank you so much for sharing your property with us...pet the pups...hope to see you soon!

Best location on the island to watch spectacular sunsets!
Walking through the gate at Cane Bay Sanctuary took our breath away! The view across the pool out to the ocean was stunning! Once inside the house, the views out to the ocean from the kitchen and bedrooms were mesmerizing! Even more amazing, are the sunsets and stargazing from the crow's nest! Great place to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning and a cocktail at night! The house, pool and property were all well maintained and very clean! All furniture (indoor and outdoor) as well as bedding was exceptionally comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated with a well-appointed kitchen. The house has everything you need to enjoy the beach - chairs, towels, beach bags and coolers. The covered patio area off the kitchen provided an excellent outdoor area for dining and relaxation. The pool area provided a very relaxing environment along with a covered area for shade. Jill was an exceptional host! She provided outstanding recommendations for restaurants and places to snorkel. She truly was a pleasure to work with throughout the booking process and our stay. She is very respectful of the privacy of her guests as are Cyrus and Whiskey. These two super sweet dogs are so adorable you will want to take them home with you! This property exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend this property!

A great place to stay
My family and I returned from a wonderful vacation in St. Croix. What part of our stay in St. Croix was wonderful? The property where we stayed and working with Jill. A big thank you to Jill, Cyrus and Whiskey for being such great hosts. The home was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It is right along the north shore of St. Croix at the Caribbean Sea. Going to sleep with the crashing of the waves was soothing and waking up to see the sea outside the window was gorgeous. Having Jill there (her house is next door) made everything run smoothly. The pool was literally right outside the door and a great place to hangout and unwind. Cyrus and Whiskey, Jill’s dogs, became our buddies during our stay. The property is between Christiansted and Frederiksted. Both were within a 20-25 minute drive. Working with Jill was an absolute pleasure and there were no issues that arose. We tend to go to different places each year. However, if we were to go back to St. Croix, there is no doubt we would contact Jill to see if we can stay at the property again.

Anniversary Trip
The reviews are accurate and probably understated. From the moment we confirmed, Jill became involved and guided us every step of the way with great suggestions. The property and the views were incredible. We enjoyed Cyrus and Whiskey. Good company, well behaved and they provide a sense of security . We couldnt have picked a better spot and we will return.

Such a beautiful location and very relaxing
We stayed for an entire week and truly enjoyed this location. Jill was a wonderful host and very helpful. The home was very well stocked with everything we needed, even though the property didn't list it. The surf is exceptional for sunsets and meditation. I felt very relaxed. Jill happened to be finishing up some construction in the pool area that was running behind schedule due to weather. I only wish I was informed earlier. Our pictures at the pool were not what I hoped. Overall, we had a great week at the property and would highly recommend it.

Paradise
Jill provides a location over the sea that brings satisfaction to any visitors imagination of what paradise might be. Private pool, Sunsets and Sunrises to die for and a gentle walk in beach just a 5 minute walk down the road. Breaking waves lull one to sleep every night 20 feet below your private bedroom porch. And if cooking is not part of your dream , two excellent restaurants are under a 5 minute walk away as well as multiple locations to try for snacks or liquid refreshments! What could you possibly be waiting for?

Absolute Paradise!
Everything was just amazing!! Property had breathtaking views; the villa was exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything we could need. Jill is an awesome host and the dogs were super sweet! Location was better than we expected -beautiful drive and close to everything including dinner, shopping, and horseback riding! We're already talking about when we can return to Jill's villa :)

Anniversary Trip
If you are looking for a private place to stay and relax this is the place to stay! Everything was perfect from the house to the view to the location! The owner Jill, is so sweet and knowledgeable about the island and provided everything we needed for our beach trips. Cyrus and Whiskey were great company and are so well behaved! We will definitely be back! Thank you for everything!!!

Phenomenal!! It does NOT get any better than this.
We have been lucky enough to stay at many 5-star resorts around the world over the years, and to be honest, none of them hold a candle to this property, or to Jill the host. There is ocean view, ocean front, and then there is ON the ocean. You cannot get any closer to the sparkling tropical waters of St. Croix than Cane Bay Sanctuary. The ocean can be seen from every room except the bathrooms, and you can hear the waves all over the property. You can literally feel the ocean spray from the deck when the ocean is frisky. The pool view is fabulous. Jill was an amazing host. From answering questions before our stay to ensuring that we had everything we needed while we were at the property. Attentive, but not obtrusive. From local knowledge of restaurants to the best places to snorkel and hang out, she knows it all. Cane Bay Sanctuary really is magical. Jill has planned for everything you could possibly ever need, whether you are staying for a couple of days or for a longer stay. Tastefully decorated and relaxing. The beds were amazing, and that fully stocked kitchen really IS fully stocked, even down to the lime squeezer for your cocktails. The appliances are state of the art and there is even a washer and dryer if you are staying for a longer stay. Jill even has your beach needs covered. Whiskey and Cyrus were the perfect holiday companions and fun to hang out with on the deck. We are seriously missing those furry guys. If you are looking for the best place to stay in St Croix, look no further than Cane Bay Sanctuary. Jill, thank you for sharing your property and your company, you really made our vacation the best we have ever had. We are looking forward to heading back over soon.

A slice of paradise awaits at Cane Bay Sanctuary!
What an amazing week! Jill, Whiskey, and Cyrus were the perfect hosts, and the Cane Bay Sanctuary is true to its name. Insanely comfortable beds, beautifully tiled bathrooms, a very well-appointed kitchen, and balconies galore with incredible views await you here. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks is pure heaven. You will not ever want to leave! Looking forward to coming back again next year!

Follow the Rainbow to Sanctuary
WOW! What a special place Cape Bay Sanctuary is. Jill was the consummate host along with her entertainment managers, Whiskey and Cyrus! Such a beautiful home that provided every amenity. It's all in the details and Jill does a great job providing everything a guest would need. Great location.... 180 degree breathtaking views and a life time worth of memories! Amazing Stay
We stayed for a week and we couldn’t be more pleased. Description of home and amenities is all accurate, from the spectacular views to the accessibility to beach and restaurants. House was clean and our host Jill was always available to answer questions or give us tips on things to do. Best of all we had Jill’s dogs, Whiskey and Cyrus, who were fun and super friendly. Best place I’ve stayed by far. This is truly a gem. If we visit again, this is definitely where we’ll stay! Thanks for making us feel so welcome!🙂

Paradise in St. Croix
Jill’s home is an oasis. The second you walk through the gate, you are surrounded by an unbelievable view. The home itself is comfortable and has everything you need for a fantastic stay. The beds are great and the kitchen is well-equipped and there are a lot of little touches that make it special (very nice sheets!). There is plenty of seating in the living room. Did I mention the view? It is everywhere! Jill is an excellent host. She provided all of the details we needed before our arrival and made great recommendations throughout our stay (you have to go to AMA!). Cyrus and Whiskey are also excellent co-hosts. The property is an easy walk to Cane Bay Beach, which is an added bonus. Could not have been happier with our stay!

Amazing Views
My wife, daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Jill’s villa. The view of the Caribbean Sea was breathtaking, and we spent a lot of time on the decks listening to the waves crash against the rocks below. Great local restaurants nearby, and plenty of things to do and see on the island. Since Jill was on vacation during our stay (but still available by phone), her friend, Paula, filled in nicely and provided all the info we needed. The house was clean, the pool was refreshing, and having the dogs around was an added bonus.

Truly Paradise
Jill’s place is amazing! The views, the pool, the location…truly paradise! We especially loved hanging with her two pups, Cyrus and Whiskey. We could’ve have asked for a better place to stay and definitely plan on returning again very soon!
