very nice and luxury hotel the breakfast was very good it is also comfortable. The only thing I will like to change is the temperature of water at shower and pool

The design of this hotel is like something from Grand Designs, high ceilings and walls all pointing towards the lovely pool and beach area to watch the great sunsets. However, rooms are a little tired and dated, all the metal balcony railing were corroded, and there was a musty smell in our room.

Et super flot hotel, dog vågnede vi op den første morgen med kondensvand på gulvet efter aircon. Personalet reagerer hurtigt med optørring og en affugter. Da det gentager sig næste nat, bliver vi flyttet til den fineste suite med en stor undskyldning for besværet. Meget hjælpsom personale.

AWA was an amazing experience! From the demanding beauty of the lobby to the sheik styling of the rooms and property. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone staying on koh chang. I highly recommend Awa resort.

Good location, great price value
My stay at the AWA was wonderful. We had a room overlooking the beach with beautiful view. Hotel has a great pool and beach space. Spa is top notch, best Thai massage overlooking the ocean. We were surprised by a nice NYE party, as not all hotels in the island offer one. We were overall very pleased with our stay.

We visited with our 2 children aged 2 and 7 months, initially for 1 week. The rooms are big and well kept, the swimming pool is huge and the added bonus of a children's play area which was air conditioned. Breakfast was fine, typical of most 4 star hotels in Thailand. The staff were great and really made our stay memorable; especially Katie, Wanisa, Jenny. We loved our stay here, so much so we extended for an additional 4 nights. We look forward to returning in future.

Rena rama lyxhotellet med sköna sängar
Ett underbart hotell med mjuka sköna sängar. Stor härlig frukostbuffé. Vid poolen fanns sköna solstolar med dynor. Väldigt stora fina rum. Tröttnar man på hotellets mat så finns massor med restauranger direkt utanför hotellet

Séjour de sept nuits en Deluxe beachfront. Arrivés avec 18h de retard, la chambre n était pas prête...ok. Puis, nous découvrons notre chambre en RDC, vue sur un mur. J' ai demandé à changer : 5h d attente supplémentaires. Bref. Sinon, petit déjeuner sympa. Grande piscine. Pas de plage. Problème d eau chaude dans les chambres. J' ai trouvé que ce n était pas si mal, mais un peu l usine. Se situe dans une rue très animée.

ON est bien !
On est bien dans cet hotel les chambres sont grandes bien équipées. Le personnel et rapide et efficace et très gentil. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet est copieux il y a même du fromage. Bref un bel endroit qui vaut le d&tour

Overall the property is really nice. Staff is friendly, helpful and polite. The room is spacious. We booked beachfront room and the view is very beautiful with the sunset. There was some dust and hair left in bathroom or on the table from previous guest. And the shower was annoying to control the shower and the warm shower. There was also smell from time to time from the drain. Breakfast is good with variety of options to choose. Still a good place to stay at as it’s also to easy to travel around.

Un excellent hotel
Un très bel hotel les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées. L'Hôtel est dans un decor moderne mélangé avec un décor Chinois c'est réussi. Bref on est bien. Le petit déjeuner servi sous forme de buffet est complet et copieux .

Not a 4 Star, no a beach, questionable cleaning.
The place was probably 4 star in its day, but that day has long since past. Breakfast buffet was good, but additionally charged food/buffet was average at best. The "Private Beach" is not a beachm, its a wall where the waves crash against it and there is a man made attempt of a beach, so if you are looking for a beach holiday/break, as were we, then this is not for you. Cleaning was also hit and miss in that one day our toilet suddenly started overflowing and the cleaner came in amd mopped it, but then used the leaked water to mop through the whole room without so much as a hint of detergent.

Don't believe what you see in the websites of this hotel. There are some pot holes at the hall on the floor that i was stay, the room door couldn't lock properly and golf cart didnt has light it was dangerous when pickup us at the parking area! If i can give the star for this hotel i will give only 2 stars and never come back again.

A lovely hotel with much more potential! We had a lovely stay however, we sadly could tell the hotel could do with some TLC. Sadly after 2 years of covid, the hotel needs some work but a beautiful hotel overall.

Hotellet har definitivt sett sine beste år. Manglende vedlikeholdsetterslep, trauste og slitne rom. Hadde med barn på reisen, gjesteseng som ble flyttet inn var utslitt, samme med senger og overflater på rommene. Har vært på øyen flere ganger tidligere, kan anbefale nabohotellet vedsidenav the chill på det sterkeste.

Leuk hotel, maar onderhoud is hoognodig.
Grote kamer en badkamer. Wij hadden de deluxe beachfront mpoi uitzicht vanaf de 3e etage. Ontbij eenzijdig geen variatie en koud. Er is een keer iets van gezegd was het 2 dagen warm daarna weer koud. Wat wij heel erg vinden omdat wij dit hotel al kennen vanaf 2019 dat het onderhoud van het resort niet up to date is. Dit heeft waarschijnlijk door cojana te maken, waarbij ze 2 jaar dicht geweest zijn. Overal schimmel aanslag op muren, plafonds, voegen, roest op de trapleuningen. Nu begrijp ik natuuijk wel dat ook zon en regen veel doen maar een groot onderhoud zou het hotel heel goed doen. Personeel super lief.
