Overpriced and needs investment before the next guests arrive!

We had concerns about air conditioning timers (sleep is a must on holiday). We were assured us that fans would also be supplied. Marketed as a luxury villa (same price as the local 5* hotel we moved to) our expectations were set. First off we noticed damp damage in 2 bedrooms and that the headboard broken/lop sided on the master bed and a general lack of maintenance in/outdoors (the BBQ is still disgusting!). First night, we didn't sleep and the a/c timers remained a major issue for us for the duration (they shouldn't be installed for the price). In the end, the master bedroom and kitchen a/c failed (filthy brown water filled buckets despite, apparently being serviced recently. We had expected a linen change at least once (the listing has been changed), but had to chase this (this was clearly an issue). A cleaner came and took the duvet covers, so ended up with uncovered, stained duvets to sleep in. The final straw was an unannounced local agent and family viewing the villa while we were all in the pool area. The pool needs a deep clean - it's caked in sun screen and our children both had ear infections (for the first time ever, which cost us hundreds in fees and medicine). Shame, as this place could be amazing but feel we have to share all of this so others can make an informed choice.We moved out 2 days early and received quite a defensive response as I asked for a refund on those days. The villa is for sale and needs attention before renting out.

Family Vacation Summer ‘23’

Wow, what can I say………. Villa was amazing Owners Amazing Location amazing Views amazing From start to finish our summer holiday was amazing, Alex who I had dealt with from the start of the booking was just so amazing, we had an amazing time and we will defiantly be coming back, I have already been in touch with Alex about next year, anyone looking for a true family holiday, book with Alex. October half term break

Having stayed at Aphrodite hills for many years, we decided to return for a week during half term. The location and views from this villa are superb, however, what let it down massively was the damp in 2 of the bedrooms, in particular one room that was completely unusable. Having paid for a 3 bedroom villa, we were very disappointed to only have the use of the 2 rooms. This problem has been brought to the owners attention in the past and really should not be advertising it as a three bedroom rental. I appreciate properties require maintenance, but it would have been better to keep that room locked in order to avoid disappointment and guests knowing that only 2 rooms are currently available. In addition, none of the sheets had been changed so we had to strip all the beds on arrival. This wasn’t great! I feel we paid a lot for this place given it’s condition. I had to contact the owner on a few occasions and they did respond promptly. Would I stay again? Definitely not! Shame as it could be stunning with a little love and most importantly addressing the damp issue.

Absolutely amazing villa and location

We had a brilliant 9 nights at this lovely villa. Outside areas amazing and views spectacular. Very well equipped and any problems were sorted very quickly. Highly recommended and we hope to return soon

Beautiful views in Aphrodite hills

Spacious property with a terrace and pool area that offered beautiful views of the sea and spectacular sunsets. Aphrodite hills offers great sports facilities and our 2 boys enjoyed going to football and tennis camp. There’s plenty to do and see in the local area. Any issues we had with the property were sorted out by our hosts. The only thing I would change would be having a hoover available as the floors get very dusty and we only had a broom and dustpan available. Would definitely book the villa again!

Two Sides to the Story

On the positive the property has amazing views, decent sized pool and a great location to visit surrounding villages and beaches. The negative for us was the fact that one bedroom was very musty so much so our son slept on the living room sofa. The dehumidifier supplied when we reported this made no difference. There is a definite damp issue in all bedrooms. Evidence can be seen on all walls in the bedrooms. Great aircon though it has a 2 hour time limit which makes it pointless at night whilst trying to sleep. The BBQ was dirty with the gas cannister placed underneath the flame rather than to the side and needless to say we could not use it as it was not hygienic. Upon arrival there was a bag of rubbish outside the back door which included food which had not been removed. Also a lot of dust in the house. It would also be great if the owners could come to an arrangement with the resort supermarket and restaurants to share the discount card as we were asked for this repeatedly and if you rent directly with the resort you are offered this on site. It appears the property is up for sale which probably reflects as to why some things have not been kept up to standard. There was also a lot of building work going on in the surrounding area with noise from huge trucks early in the morning. Not quite what you want on your holiday! Although we had an enjoyable stay we would not return in the future.

Really Enjoyed the Location

We visited in late October and early November . The temperature was in the low to mid 20s but definitely warm enough to enjoy both our pool and the lovely community pool very close by. The pool and patio area was lovely and clean and contractors arrived during our stay to clean/check etc. so we can vouch that it is well looked after. We pretty much ate out every day although the kitchen is very well quipped and very clean. The fridge is big and spotless and great for our drinks etc. There is lots of room to sit inside and eat at a large table and also outside with another large table. as well as a nice comfortable outside seating area with soft furnishings. Plenty of room to let the kids have their own space. Wi Fi worked very well although the TV did have screen freezes during the Rugby World Cup game which was the only time I switched it on. I don't go on holiday to watch TV. The lounge is spacious and has comfortable seating with nice soft furnishings. I needed help with the water heater for the bathrooms and the local contact talked me through the controls and arrived within minutes to help. He could not have been more helpful. Location is important and off season the resort is quiet and the restaurants have a captive audience and although on the expensive side the Indian restaurant really was top class. there is a Costa coffee, Ice Cream Shop, Kebab Shop as well as quite a few restaurants. Nearby restaurants in Kouklia and Pissouri were fantastic. All in all a great visit and the owners always responded promptly to any queries. I will guess that the apartment had not been rented out for a while before us as it was late October when we arrived and it was a bit musty downstairs at first but soon cleared with all the doors open. Bathrooms were lovely. Thank you for letting us stay.

Lovely view villa in golf/tenis resort village

The villa has a very nice views, good location, private and communal swimming pools. Well furnished and equipped. It is inside Aphrodite hills - golf resort and tenis club. There are restaurants, supermarket and gellateria in there. Very good location - not far from Limasol and Paphos, nice beaches.

Lovely villa with great views & extensive outside space

We had a great week here - the resort itself has sports facilities, a spa, restaurants & a supermarket which are close by but we also did quite a lot of exploring of Cyprus as we hired a car. It was lovely to come back to a swim in the pool & drink on the terrace. The owners were very helpful & everything was smoothly organised & well maintained.

Great villa, has everything needed for a family, plenty of space, large balcony, well equipped kitchen, WIFI, great pool, owner was very helpful. Handy for Paphos beaches. Lots to do on the resort.

Gorgeous view/Home from Home

Loved our stay. My husband & I were on a 2 week golfing break. Days not on the golf course were spent at the side of the pool, which is a great size & temp to cool off. Plenty of towels & kitchen well stocked with everything you'll need. The trolley/coolbox is an excellent touch for a great day spent at the beach. Loved every minute, would definitely stay here again. Thank you

Lovely apartment with great outside space

This is a lovely apartment in Aphrodite Hills, with a well maintained garden and pool area and fabulous views from the balcony area upstairs. The interior really feels like a home and is very comfortable for 6 people. The food in the resort is all good and within walking distance, although Kouklia is definitely worth the 10 minute drive for the variety of tavernas. The only downside to our stay was the construction on the opposite ravine. The site was operational 6 days 7-4pm and unfortunately the week we were there they were digging the groundworks for the villa 200m away from our pool. Had we been out 'day tripping' this would not have bothered us but we had booked specifically to do very little on our 3rd visit to Cyprus, so this was annoying. All in all, a well equipped and managed apartment with a stunning vista.

A Fabulous Villa that meets the very highest standards.

A fabulous Villa that is very well appointed in the Aphrodite Hills Complex with stunning views and access to great onsite facilities. The Villa is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and the Property Management is always available for any issues that arise and are quickly and efficiently sorted. I would highly recommend this Villa to all my family and friends for any future visits to Cyprus, also I would certainly look to enquiring again about renting the Villa on my next visit back to Paphos. The villa had everything to offer. It was spotlessly clean and well equiped. The pool was a true hit, temperature perfect and cleaned most days, if not every! Great walk up to Costa for a morning coffee too! The owner Elliot was informative from the moment we emailed & enquired availability to the time we arrived back home and realised we had left 'shoes' in one of the cupboards. They kindly returned by Mail promptly....Thankyou! I would truly recommend a holiday here. The Aphrodite Hills are idyllic, but a car is essential. We would love to return one day. Great villa, great location

Well equipped attractive villa with very good pool, excellent decking area and gardens. Good balance of sun and shade. Close to centre of Aphrodite Hills resort but don't feel surrounded by other villas. Good time had by all!

Beautiful, spacious villa with lovely views

We had a great holiday at the Villa where we enjoyed the swimming pool, BBQ facilities and relaxing whilst enjoying the beautiful views. It was peaceful and quiet while we were there. We hired a car and travelled all over the island where we found beautiful beaches near by, great and cooler walks up the Troodos mountains and enjoyed the challenge and fun of the Rope Park up there (similar to Go Ape). The waterpark at Pissouri was also great fun and local Tavernas had delicious fresh fish. The bars and restaurants and supermarket at Aphrodites Hills are also great and convenient as they are only a short walk away. Overall an excellent holiday at a comfortable and beautiful villa and we hope to visit again and will recommend it to our friends and family.

Stunning and luxurious!

We have had a lovely holiday in this amazing Villa. The views from the balcony and back garden/ pool are some of the best on the resort overlooking the sea across a beautiful valley. The Villa has everything you could possibly need for a fun filled family holiday. The pool is a good size for swimming and the new shaded veranda is the perfect spot for relaxing. The rooms are spacious and the air-conditioning was a blessing when the temperatures rose. Equipped with wifi, sky TV and a washing machine, this villa has everything. The villa is only a short walk from the centre which has COSTA coffee, Hagen Das, a supermarket and several restaurants. We had a fantastic week away and will be returning to this stunning Villa!
