Coming to Kuwait for the first time from the US I had no idea what to expect. A long way from home, a country where I do not speak the language, IBIS SHARQ KUWAIT made me feel completely at home. The rooms are clean and fresh, the service is second to none. When I came back after check out to ask if I could freshen up before my long flight back to the US they couldn't be more accommodating. I have more business trips required for Kuwait and IBIS SHARQ will be the place I call home when I do. That means everything when you truly are away from home.

Not a fan of this hotel. I think the nearby Ramada is better. Staff at reception are a hassle to deal with, you don’t get any help with anything. They fail to arrange you’re airport pick up after agreeing to and there are no bedside plugs for your charges.

Good Location
Good location & pretty good value for money as far as hotels in Kuwait go. It's a very straightforward choice if you are in Kuwait for 1-2 days solo. Decent size room, right smack bang in the middle of Kuwait City (I think) and there's a restaurant (Indian), launderette and a few shops near by so it's pretty convenient.

A good place to stay
Great middle of the road place to stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the place is clean and well situated. A fine place to spend a night or two.

Das Hotel liegt recht zentral. In der Umgebung sind mehrere Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück ist vielseitig und das Personal sehr freundlich. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden, aber auch Transfers lassen sich schnell buchen.
