Muy bien ubicada en barrio histórico , acceso a dos cuadras a estación de metro , las habitaciones sumamente pequeñas pero se intercambia por estar tan bien ubicada , encontré una lavandería a unos metros del hotel , el personal muy amable , recibí un paquete de unos artículos que olvidé en otro hotel y les dejé el pago en recepción , ellos se encargaron. Del pago y de avisarme en cuanto lo recibieron .

Un muy buen lugar , buena localización en el barrio de Gion ( barrio antiguo , para aquellos amantes de lo sencillo e interesante , cerca de muchas atracciones ) Caminar por sus callejuelas es fascínate , lo mismo te topas con una Geisha que con gente de los alrededores . Hay buenos restaurantes y tiendas . El metro a dos cuadras

Buen hotel
Hotel ubicado en un sitio muy bueno, desayuno con variedad de alimentos. El osen es muy agradable y muy limpio. El servicio muy eficiente, amable y cálido. Las habitaciones son extremadamente pequeñas, limpias pero las fotos que muestran en su página no son verdaderas, muy alejadas de la realidad, son limpias y muy bien doradas pero diminutas. El servicio de comidas del bar muy deficiente, recomendaría mas variedad de productos. Sin embargo lo recomiendo.

Hotel nuevo, binito pero con cosas por mejorar.
Un hotel con excelente ubicación en la zona antigua de Kioto pero con cosas por mejorar: la entrada no es muy visible con lo que cuesta encontrarlo; además para entrar hay que bajar un nivel por unos escalones de difícil acceso con maletas. La habitación es bonita pero el extractor del baño está conectado directo a la energía con lo que siempre está encendido y hace un ruido bastante molesto. El desayuno fantástico!

Thank you very much for staying with us. We are sorry for the inconvenience due to the entrance steps and the noise of extractor. The design of our entrance has a concept which is Kyoto traditional. However, it actually is a bit hard to carry suitcases to come in. I will share your comment with our manager to make the situation better. Fantastic property with even better location! Highly recommend this property for a great walkable location in the Gion district. Easy access to regional trains and only about a 10 minute taxi from the Shinkansen. Hotel is so cute and has everything you need. Public bath is amazingly relaxing and clean. Will be back!

Hotel is located in Gino district, which is really close to a lot of attractions and restaurants. Hotel staff speaks excellent English and are very helpful and friendly.

Very nice hotel and the room had great finishes. The bed and pillows were on the firmer side. Some may like that but it wasn’t great for us. The room was very, very small. Felt like a shoebox. The positive was that we were out most of the day anyway and the convenience of its location made it worth it. Their breakfast was not good. Plenty of places nearby so no need to pay for this. If you plan to get up early, recommend buying breakfast and putting it in the mini fridge so you can get up and go. We washed clothes while we were there and luckily everyone was on top of moving their laundry because there are only 2 washer and dryers and they were running day and night. Coin exchange machine was broken. Dryer was not good for heavier clothing such as jeans.

Excellent location, king-size bed was comfortable once you get in it, no access from either side. No wardrobe space just gave us 4 hangers. Very boutique type of room just needed more space. Had to wait a longer time in the lobby until the room was as ready at 3pm, not good when very tired from travelling.

We had an amazing stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the location was amazing, we barely had to use public transportation. The only thing that could have been a little better was the coin washing and drying machines that were a bit old and slow

I enjoyed my stay at Kyoto Granbell. There is a public bath at the basement which was very clean and I like that it closes quite late. Perfect way to wind down after a long day out. I also enjoyed the free coffee at the lobby. Great stay, will definitely return!

Very comfortable, tastefully decorated room. Storage space was on the small side but this didn't bother us too much. The breakfast is incredible, the array of different dishes to try and everything was very tasty. Loved having the bathing facilities too.

Great and easy stay. We were able to drop our luggage off early and by the time we checked in, our luggage was already in our room. It is a small room, but most hotel rooms in Japan are small. We were still able to lay down two carry-on luggages on the floor. The staff are great and helpful. The breakfast is a mix of western and Japanese food. The private onsen is what sells it for me. I would stay there again.

This was a clean, modern, and stylish hotel located very conveniently in Gion and only a short walk from the Gion-Shijo station. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a lot of Japanese and Western options to start our days of exploration.

I couldn’t have picked a better place for our family. Great breakfast buffet, public bath is incredible, close to Gion district, several temples nearby, train station a short walk, Nishiki Market walking distance. Staff was super helpful recommending restaurants and helping with reservations. Would not stay anywhere else.

The hotel itself was nice and they kindly offered to hold our luggage as we explored our last day in Kyoto. The rooms are very small, with stays of less than 4 days not serviced. The internet was very slow, unable to load YouTube or banking for most of our stay. The laundrette was tiny, with a queue of people at 9.30pm on a Saturday night. If you have any laundry to do during your stay we would highly recommend staying somewhere else or use the laundromat Koinrandoritokutoku Berezagionminamiten 3 minutes down the road which was excellent. It's in a great location close to train stations but ultimately would stay somewhere else next time.

Hotel has a great vibe and located in a convenient area. Staff are in traditional attire and very polite and attentive. We stayed in a tatami room and would definitely recommend for a unique experience. Hotel also has an onsen in the basement and although I didn’t try it, my sister said it was great.

The property was very new. Room was spacious with beautiful decor. Everything was clean and tidy. The location was good which is near to metro station and also the most famous spots. The only drawback was the public bath which was too small and was unable to cater more than 10 ppl at a time.

I really loved this hotel & found it for myself & 5 other couples to stay however our room was under the cafeteria (we think) & both mornings we were woken at 5:30am by loud dragging/rolling/stomping sounds of them setting up the breakfast? Not totally sure but 1x I called and it got better for a while but when I started again, I went upstairs in my pjs & they suggested earplugs, which I was using. Really disappointed to spend $240 a night & not be able to sleep. Especially since I got so many other people to book there & I just checked into the granbell Tokyo. Beautiful place to stay if you can sleep thru anything.
