Buen hotel funcional y económico
Hotel muy funcional, habitación espaciosa, cama cómoda, desayuno con café y bollos, préstamo de bicis y paraguas.... No hay jabón para la lavadora pero te lo venden en recepción, está alejado de los principales santuarios

Viajamos con Horizonte Paralelo a Japón que nos ofreció este maravilloso alojamiento. El trato es maravilloso, aunque está algo retirado de la zona más turística de la ciudad, está junto al Castillo y muy bien comunicado por varias lineas de autobuses. El desayuno está bien, aunque la zona de desayuno es pequeña, pero también te permiten llevar el desayuno a la habitación.

¡Recomendable y seguro que repetimos!
El personal fue muy agradable en todo momento y nos proporcionaron toda la información necesaria para disfrutar de la maravillosa ciudad de Kyoto. Hablan perfectamente ingles. La habitación era espaciosa, limpia y el colchón muy cómodo. La ubicación era buena, a solo 5 minutos a pie del Castillo de Nijo, una de las visitas imprescindibles de la ciudad. Por las mañanas ofrecen café y pastas para los huéspedes. Totalmente recomendable y volveremos si estamos por la zona.

Muy recomendable
Muy bien lugar, paradas de autobus a 10 metros del hotel, un combini a 20 metros y una parada de tren jr a 15 min a pie, varios lugare en la zona para comer algo, el hotel esta muy bien, muy buen trato por la gente, quando llegas te dan mapas de todo, de buses, cosas que ver. Si quieres te limpian la habitacion diariamente, y disponen de bicicletas para alquilar, cosa que en kyoto, recomiendo, la movilidad en bici, es lo mejor, es un ligar bastante llano, con excepcion de la zona del pabellon dorado, yo recomiendo este lugar y si vuelvo a kyoto lo eligo sin dudar,lo

Staff muy servicial
Muy pequeño pero con muy buen servicio por parte de su draft son muy amables y te ayudan en todo lo que necesites, a unos pocos metros está la Parada de autobús lo cual ayuda mucho y el desayuno consta de diferentes tipos de pan, jugo y café.

A very good Guest House
The receptionists were marvellous. All of them. Specially the young man that I met there on 2 days of my 3 day stay. I was going to Osaka from there; but the typhoon had come and the trains had been cancelled or suspended. He spent so much time to find out for me & then write the directions down, so I can take the normal slow train to Osaka (the bus Nos, the train names, the stations I needed to get off, the landmarks) and I got to near proximity of my Osaka hotel; he even asked me the address of the Osaka hotel so he can tell me which lines to take, to get off the train just near it. He was the most helpful receptionist ever and I have met many many receptions in my travels. He & this guest house topped them all. They have produced a very helpful local map of the buses near them. Thank you for being so helpful. :-)

Best budget-friendly stay in central Kyoto
I stayed a week in Uraraka and I was very happy with the service and with my stay there. After spending the 1st night in smaller room,the staff gave me a more spacious room which was perfect for a solo traveller.Read some reviews before about the location,but it’s actually perfect(I know the city very well).From the bus stop 1 min away from the guest house, there are buses taking you to Arashiyama,Higashiyama,Sanjo/Shijo region, Kinkakuji-basically to most tourist attractions in these areas.there are free bicycles provided and if you need train,JR Nijo is 15 min on foot.Two convenience stores within 3-4 min walk,and a big supermarket with a 100 yen shop also 3-4 min walk.Nijo castle is basically across the street.extra clean rooms,with daily towel change upon request and if you stay longer,they change bedsheets every 3rd day. Staff is English speaking and so,so helpful.Yuji san even stayed with me when my airport shuttle was late,in case I needed to call.Overall,nothing bad-only wonderful experience.

Clean and comfortable
If you want a grand hotel with a big lobby and glitzy bars then this isn't the place for you. If, however, you want reasonably priced, clean, central accommodation with good wi-fi and super helpful staff it is. Other reviewers have remarked on the size of the bathrooms and, while they are certainly small, they're perfectly manageable for a few days. The only negative to our stay was that the wide selection of breads for breakfast didn't include any non-sweet, plain varieties for toasting etc.: if that's the only criticism you can make then you know they're doing pretty well!

The staffs are extra nice love the breakfast bread. The room is spotless ,glad that we have chosen this hotel at first we was going to stay for 3 night but change to stay here for one more night and just take a day trip to Osaka instead as it only take half an hour from here by JR train

Hotel discreto. Diciamo che nella sua estrema semplicità riesce a offrire il servizio necessario. Camera spaziosa per gli standard nipponici, posizione abbastanza buona: non centrale ma si riesce a raggiungere il centro con 10-15 minuti di bus. Pulizia sufficiente, arredamento spartano, piccola semplice colazione compresa nel prezzo. Il ragazzo alla reception parla un ottimo inglese..cosa non scontata da trovare in Giappone. Consigliato di certo, ma con ampi margini di miglioramento.
