Red Roof Review
3-night stay. The property feels tired and dated. The pool was not available as advertised. Had to go purchase paper towels and tissues. Concerns the deck is buckling under the weight of the hot tub. Big home with plenty of room for our party of 7. Creepy camera monitor closet is located in the primary bathroom. Visited as the snow was melting off. Very muddy. I wouldn't recommend this property for parties with small children or elderly visitors who have any mobility challenges.

Thank you for choosing our vacation rental for your stay. We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your time with us. Regarding the availability of the pool during the winter, we want to clarify that our pool is seasonal, as advertised. It is guaranteed to be heated between Memorial Day and Labor Day. We do, however, try to open the pool as early and close it as late as the weather allows. Typically, we open the pool in early May and close it in October, depending on weather conditions, aiming to provide our guests with an extended swimming season. Regarding the lack of additional supplies during your stay, we apologize for any inconvenience caused. We would have been more than happy to assist you if you had reached out to us. Our team keeps a variety of additional supplies on hand to ensure a comfortable stay for our guests. Regarding the Trex decking underneath the hot tub, warping can occur due to the extreme mountain temperatures. However, we want to assure you that the deck is built on solid rock and is very safe for use. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We value your feedback and are committed to providing an exceptional experience for our guests.

Amazing cabin
The cabin was beautiful, well equiped and accommodated 7 fellas very comfortably. The view is absolutely incredible. We would have loved to use the pool, but it was frozen solid with the -10⁰ weather. The hot tub was the highlight second only to the sunrises.

Fabulous View
Such a great property! Close to town with a FABULOUS view of Leavenworth and the mountains. We enjoyed all the many things to do at the house: hot tub, pool table, ping pong, foosball, multiple TVs, XBox, board games galore, great books, etc.

couldnt stay due initially to hazardous smoke conditions
Jill the property owner was so helpful and kind --she suggested another time when we could stay in September when hopefully the smoke and hazardous air quality will be better--what a nice woman to work with --can't wait to go in September!!!---this is the rest of the story..we went in September and it was great..a little chilly for swimming but a wonderful getaway.

Resort on the Mountain
Well first off "WOW" the house and grounds are amazing! The view is difficult to explain, the valley and mountains in view are breathtaking and peaceful all the same time. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space or all in the same place. A game room we didn't know of was a pleasant surprise it had a pool table, foosball and ping pong tables. The swimming pool is next level, many resorts (really meaning most of them) don't have anything that compares to it. The deep end is 8-10 feet deep not exactly sure but I can touch an 8 foot ceiling in my house but couldn't reach the surface flat footed in the deep end. And the deep end is at least a third of the pool plenty to jump off waterfall or dive in from the end rock. Did I say waterfall? yup with mini river. Too much to describe must experience it to understand. Peaceful wonderful get away for my family I have no doubt you would enjoy too. Will be staying again for sure. Much better than a hotel or resort. Home away from home only better!

Spectacular Pool
If your looking for a pool with a fabulous view, this is it. The house itself was well equipped for our group of elderly to age 5. The house has 2 nice bedrooms and the others are down stairs which was not explained well in the listing. It was the pool that made the stay worth it. Beautiful views.

Peace and spaciousness
Neighbors weren't too close, peaceful! No music allowed outside... only need music of the wildlife anyway. 3 floors of spaciousness... plenty of books to read and activities for teens

Great Fun House with Nice Amenities
Spent a great Thanksgiving weekend in this beautiful house. Add all of the furnishings TVs, games, puzzles, bedding, kitchen supplies that we needed. The host was very accommodating and gracious, and we would love to return. The only downside was fog the first day and a half that kept us from realizing what an incredible view we had from the home; which we were finally able to enjoy the last day. It is so close to Leavenworth that we jumped downtown several times to enjoy shopping and the lights. The house is fairly high up the mountain side, so be prepared to see deer and other critters.

Mother in laws 80th birthday celebration
We rented this beautiful home a year ago.. about a week before our trip Jill called us with some disappointing news that only 6 guests would be able to spend the night of our large group due to changes in Leavenworth policy. It turned out to be a blessing in the end as the younger crowd had to rent a house in town and was able to enjoy the night life while us old folk relaxed after 10pm. Haha!! The home is huge and we so enjoyed staying in it. Thank you so much. We really made some great memories here this weekend. ❤️

Beautiful and stocked
The lodge is exactly as advertised, a fully stocked vacation home with every amenity you could need. However I refuse to give it 5 stars due to the thermostat. At over $1000 a night, having the thermostat locked and having customers reach out to the owners to have it changed is beyond ridiculous.

There is no lock on the thermostat, guests are free to set whatever temp they’d like, and we can also control it remotely if guests prefer- when you called me about lowering the temperature we responded immediately and asked what temp you would like it set at, we set it at 70 but understand every guest has different preferences. You said 69 degrees would be good and we set it at that temp. You thanked us and said all was good when I followed up. I apologize for misunderstanding that you were not satisfied with the temperature settings.

We love this place.
This was our second stay at Red Roof, and the grandchildren are all ready asking when we will come back. We love the house, but we especially love the pool and spent most of our time at the pool.

Incredible Pool and Cabana
Wonderful property for a large family. Fully stocked kitchen with equipment. Pool was incredible. Just wish we could have controlled waterfalls. They were off pretty much the entire time we were outside and turned on at night.

The BEST pool
This place was great. The view was fantastic. The amenities were perfect, but the pool! Not only is the pool huge, it's got this area that's just a couple of inches deep. Such a great idea for little kids. It's also over 8' deep at the deep end, so as an adult you won't get bored either. Our entire group had a fantastic time and spent most of the 95 degree + days in the pool. The hot hub was fun after the kiddos went down. Would definitely love to stay again. Thank you!

Unsurpassed!
My families stayed at Red Roof Lodge for our third summer gathering. It is the best accommodation is so many ways. Location! Warm eastern Washington. We stayed cool in the phenomenal pool and pool area with sun, shade, poolside wet bar, bathroom and pool toys. Close to Leavenworth and Icicle Canyon, which has lovely hikes for all levels. Accommodation: Everything works, including BBQ, hot tub, outdoor fire pit, TV, internet. Lots of nice beds and linens. Plenty of kitchen equipment, two refrigerators, quiet dishwasher. All spaces are large and open. Our families talk of returning as we’re walking out the door. That’s the tough part, waiting a whole year to do it again! Thank you, Jill, for your attention and hospitality!

Great location, great property
Overall, the property was wonderful and worked great for our group. Not the biggest fan of cameras around the exterior of the house and garage (feel this should be disclosed in the listing) and the house could’ve used a bit more of a professional cleaning before we got there, however, neither of those things were enough to give the rating less than 5 stars. The views and lighting and communication were all great as well!

Be aware!
You will be monitored by neighbors taking pictures of you, your family, your minor children. You won’t be told this until after you pay the full amount of money due and then you will receive no refunds when you do not consent to this activity. You are not allowed visitors to this 4,000+ sqft house. “Sleeps 16” actually means only 16 people are ever allowed on this property. No lunch dates, no family gatherings for dinner. You will also not be told this before hand. Hoping to save you all thousands of dollars - still fighting for a refund and VRBO has been zero help. Apparently they think photo surveillance by neighbors without your consent is OK and the owner does too!

Family Mountain Cabin Getaway
Wonderful house and grounds. We had a blast. Unfortunately there had been a tiny bit of damage to the house from snow and ice and the owners were immediately responsive and willing to do whatever to make sure we still had a great getaway weekend. We will be back!

Great cabin for a family trip
This property was great for our winter family getaway - great rooms, cozy living room and spacious kitchen. Jill is a great host! We happened to stay there when a crazy winter storm hit Leavenworth and we couldn’t leave due to all roads being blocked by snow. While waiting for passes to open and our cars to be dug out of the driveway , Jill allowed us to stay in cabin an extra night free of charge and was in contact with us in case we needed firewood etc. it’s a great property located on a side of a mountain, and it seems like it would be fun to stay there during summer as well as winter!

Christmasy wonderland
This house has a lot of amenities - big game room, wonderful view from high up in the mountains, big kitchen for easy cooking with the family. We found out after arrival that a historic storm was going on -- even in a 4WD vehicle getting to the house up and down the mountain was very challenging (during our 4 night stay we saw 4 cars stuck/crashed into trees or rocks on the side of the road). Not for the faint of heart.

Fantastic property for groups!
We really really loved this property! We had a large group age ranging from 2-adult with 2 dogs and this place is perfect for everyone! The fully fenced yard was great for the dogs. Everyone loved the hot tub, the outdoor pool area looks like a beautiful resort--I wish it had been warm enough for us to use it! The bedrooms worked well for families, some separate rooms for the family with older kids, some joint rooms for families with younger kids. The teens liked the pool table area and the little kids loved the big teddy bear and toys. Communication was great, super clean--can't recommend this place enough! We definitely want to come back to use the pool!

BEAUTIFUL & UNFORGETTABLE
This house & property are like a dream come true!!! Waking up every morning to that view put all of our souls at peace and it was hard not to smile while drinking our morning coffee. Every day we were outside in the pool even in the rain but that was ok! It was an unforgettable view from the pool, one we never wanted to part with. We WILL be staying there again , but it looks like next summer is already booked out, understandably so! If you are looking to get away into the mountains for spectacular and peaceful views look no further! You will not regret staying here. Close enough to town to pick up groceries and visit without a long trip, but far enough away to seem like the city is nowhere near you. It was just what we all needed! We were sad to leave, but felt so refreshed after our stay. TIP: if you are there for pool season , never let a day go by without a quiet morning swim right when you wake up. It will start your day off right. NOTE: we saw two bears while driving to the property about 1/4 mile away . It was pretty cool!!!

The outdoor space of my dreams!

Great Place to Stay
Overall a great property and we really enjoyed our stay. The property had everything we needed. The pictures listed do not do this place justice for views and location. Our party enjoyed the stay and our time, this is a great property for families and have lots of space to bring groups together. There were a few minor concerns with the property: pictures allude to two hot tubs however the one pictured by the pool has been filled. There are three cameras at the house, there is one in the garage and two facing the pool area. Our party found this acceptable and understandable with the liabilities of having a pool.

Perfection!
Red Roof Lodge is ideal for our merged family. We enjoy this annual gathering in a place that is beautifully located, surrounded by mountains and greenery and facing the sunset. We cannot say enough about the accommodations. The lodge is very roomy with an open concept. The kitchen has all conveniences, a big island for prep and social time, a large fridge (in addition there is a second fridge in the laundry room.) The outdoor deck space is vast and accommodating with lots of seating, and lovely canyon views. The pool is fully visible from the deck. The pool is phenomenal! You have to experience it to understand how wonderful it is for families. The kids swim all day, and the lights at night are very enticing for even more water time. The pool area includes a large covered patio with a beverage fridge, shower room and bathroom. Lots of lounge chairs, plenty of towels, floaties, and the waterfalls make you feel you're in a freshwater lake. We've already booked 2022. The owner is at-the-ready to answer questions. We appreciate this opportunity so much!

An excellent time during the hottest week on record
This property is beautiful. Huge pool with waterfall overlooking the mountains. The house has huge windows and is beautifully appointed. Several huge bedrooms with room for all. As great as this place is, the owner is the selling point. Attentive and available, she was very helpful and did her best to help us have a great time.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this home. The pool is awesome! We enjoyed the hot tub. The views are great. Very nice, comfortable home. Good for groups of people, we had 16 and we were all comfortable.
