Ok stay pulled up to the hotel police searching someone so was a little worried about parking my car toilet had a problem with plumbing which caused the toilet to leak.

Clean and friendly but facilities dated.
Facilities clean but dated. Service efficient and friendly, curtains paper thin therefore difficult to sleep.

Excellent value place for the budget traveller
This is a great little friendly, well located, cheap (but not tacky) adequately provisioned place that's just fine for the budget traveller - I was 'on tour' for work but would have been fine as a leisure traveller too, at least if alone (though guess they have larger rooms). Eats are available at a nearby pub but they offer a bagged breakfast if you want it but there's plenty of cafe/takeaway places within walking distance. All good for me!

Hunt lodge stay
Lovely stay overnight and the staff were very accommodating, helpful and polite. Nice clean room and a comfy bed... just right for what was needed

Booking in was easy and pleasant, even got told about a discount on food at the shop pub, good sizes room and kept clean, was serviced daily. Only down side were the lack of signs directing you to the car park which if you got there early was full of cars with permits (using the train station across the park) and the shower curtain was a little short meaning water splashed onto the floor. Otherwise a very nice place to stay.

Great Find
Clean room, nice view over a park, close to station. Lovely guy on reception Felt safe as a lone traveller. Would happily use this hotel again.

The hotel was clean enough. The owner was a complete gent and offered a taxi service to us due to my disability.

Very poor all round. No facilties. More in line with a bad and breakfast but without the breakfast

Very good access to the station and the town and is mainly quiet you will hear the church bells on sunday which is a good alarm clock for booking out
