Wish we could have stayed longer
This is a great house to rent. With an older teen, it was great to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. And while we didn't plan on cooking, we ended up making dinner there one night. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Because we were out most of the day, we didn't get to see the horses. Hopefully we can spend some daylight hours there next time.

Visiting the Knoxville are
Great cabin! Had everything we needed for the week we were there. Centrally located for the areas around Knoxville we visited. Jan and Rob were great hosts! We'd definitely recommend their cabin/cottage. Oh, and watching the horses graze right outside our window was a bonus!

Knoxville Trip
We had a short stay but it had an impact on us! My family loved the cottage feel and being able to walk outside and see/interact with the horses. Very enjoyable, would recommend.

Perfect
I will be back. Perfect relaxing stay, minutes from Knoxville, Farragut and Lenoir City but it feels as though you are in the middle of the mountains. Horses, dogs and great hosts. Restful!

Country Cabin Cozy
We needed a place to stay close to Farragut because of a loss in our family of a cousin’s wife. We drove from Texas and had our two dogs so of course we needed a “pet friendly” place to stay too! This was perfect being less than 20 minutes from the places we needed to go. The house has a great floor plan and was plenty roomy enough for dog crates and all of the “stuff” we travel with:). It was nice to have a back yard to walk the dogs in when needed. Because our pups are mini Aussies we hesitated to let them off leash since they might jump the fence. It was shorter than our fencing at home. The drive up to the house was winding and two narrow lanes but so beautiful because of the trees growing together forming canopies to drive through! We enjoyed the country setting as a restful place after the emotional times that we shared with our relatives. Jan was super good at communication and hospitality. This is always so appreciated by myself and my husband. We were comfortable and cozy during our stay and would definitely use this home again!

Home away from home
We checked in late in the afternoon, the same day the previous guests checked out, and the cottage was immaculate. This is our second stay at this site, and it will not be our last. Bravo.

Great for families!
Check in was easy and the property was easy to find. The home was the perfect size for my family of four and very clean inside. My children loved seeing the horses and playing in yard. Would be a great place for people with families and pets to stay.

Beautiful and Perfect Stay for Work-related Trip
We rented this property while attending a work related seminar in Loudon, Tennessee. The home was conveniently located to Loudon. Our visit was our second stay at this property. The well maintained and equipped home was perfect for our three-day stay. Lots of room for us to spread out and we enjoyed the quiet and beautiful scenery. We loved being located next to a working horse farm. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful and perfect
This property offered some respite from the rest of our days of swimming and Regatta. It was convenient to the rowing venue in Oak Ridge, and amenities were within a short drive away. The hosts, Jan and Rob were great, and our dogs really enjoyed meeting the friendly horses over the fence.

Comfortable cottage in Peaceful Setting
The cottage is located close to I-40 in a quiet country setting on a horse farm. Very private. Wonderfully stocked. Jan the host is a terrific communicator. Easy access to I-40 makes it a great place do things in Knoxville while staying away from the hustle-bustle.

Easter weekend
We were delighted with this vrbo ! (our first vrbo stay) We were very impressed with how clean, cozy and comfortable the guesthouse was for our family. The kitchen was well appointed and we loved the coffee bar. We will definitely return to this sweet hideaway again

Quiet and dog friendly
We enjoyed our stay. The big perks were the fenced yard so that we could easily release our dogs and a quiet location that provided restful sleep. The cabin had several pungent diffusers that we were not a fan off. We put them in the second room and shut the door. After about 24hrs we felt that the smell was better. Our first night it got quite cold and the heater couldn’t keep up. That night and morning was pretty chilly in the cabin. We have stayed in similar places that have provided an extra heater, which would have been used here. The other nights did not get near as cold so it wasn’t an issue after that. We have also always appreciated hosts who leave a binder/folder with instructions for checkout. There were no directions to be found in the cabin or app, so I had to reach out to the host to ask.

Hi Allia, thank you for your feedback! We strive for 5⭐️ reviews every time and 99% of the time that’s what we receive. I will update check out instructions on the website for our guests. We typically have the opportunity to speak to our guests directly Many guests have commented and enjoyed the lemon and bergamot scents, but I realize that some people have a sensitivity to that. Your comment reminds us that we should offer the opportunity to have the diffusers removed prior to check in. We, and all hosts I would assume, definitely want to know if there is ever a problem with the HVAC or anything else in the cottage. We have not had any complaints or issues prior to yours. Thank you

Divine
This little house has been outfitted down to the last detail for comfort and design. Cotton sheets! Luxurious towels. It wasn’t furnished with leftovers from the owner’s home, I’m guessing. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Cozy farm cottage oozes hospitality!
What a respite this immaculate, comfortable cottage was on a busy weekend! The beds are wonderful, placement and availability of small details (including birthday candles which we didn't need but impressed us) are replete. The kitchen is well stocked but if you don't feel like cooking, great Greek and Indian take out (+ others) are 15 minutes away in Turkey Creek. Sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee watching riding lessons while the dogs happy frolicked in the large back yard was a perfect way to start the day.

A Little Country in the City
We had such a relaxing time and enjoyed watching the horses. Jan was super nice to deal with. An extra plus was figuring out that Jan had given my youngest daughter riding lessons 20 years ago which brought back good memories. It really is an oasis and just a few minutes from anything you might need.

This was the perfect little cabin to come to after a day of exploring. Beds are comfortable and the place is clean. The kitchen is small, but adequate. It was nice sitting on the back porch and watching the horses and fireflies. The host/hostess was always quick to respond to any questions I had.

Highly recommend!
Cozy cabin in the country but close to the and to Knoxville. Jan was so hospitable and even volunteered to go to Costco to pick up some mats we admired in the cottage. She also checked in with us to see if we needed anything. I’ve never had a host do that! Best of all there’s a fenced-in yard for the dogs! If we ever need to come back to Knoxville area, this is only place we’d stay.
