Too Expensive for a Broke House with Nice Paint
This house was in a great location and was large enough that we thought we'd be comfortable and happy here. However, the house was clearly cosmetically updated to cover up how broken it is. First, the kitchen has a ton of unfinished wood counters. They were already starting to fray just from our use over the weekend. Why would you put unfinished wood as a kitchen counter? The dining room table was also unfinished and the entire setup was super uncomfortable. The bathroom upstairs had a shower that was falling apart. We found bits and pieces of cut wire, screws, and lots of evidence of recent work on the house. But why wouldn't you clean these things out? The water temperature was barely warm. There was a jacuzzi bath but it was cold when we got it and the water was just running lukewarm. For the cost? This place was a total ripoff.
