El pintoresco edificio dúplex de 5 pisos construido en 1910 está ubicado cerca de todas las comodidades deseables y a poca distancia de lugares para comer, cenar y desayunar. Hay un montón de espacios verdes y aceras para explorar. La sala de estar tiene un tema ecuestre con pisos de madera bellamente restaurados con una bonita alfombra gruesa y un encantador sofá y silla de cuero envejecido. La cocina también tiene pisos de madera y encantador rincón de desayuno. El área del ático del segundo piso, donde se ubican las habitaciones, es rústico, con pisos de madera contrachapada de poliuretano y muebles con el encanto del viejo mundo. Este es un gran lugar para un grupo de 4 o menos personas para eventos deportivos, espectáculos ecuestres o lugares de carreras o simplemente para ver cualquiera de las muchas cosas maravillosas que Lexington tiene para ofrecer. Just Okay

Clean, good off-street parking, quiet and safe location. But this is a one bedroom rental, not two as advertised. The single beds are located on the upstairs landing leading to the bedroom. Okay for a couple with two small children. Definitely not okay for two couples. Note that the bedroom is upstairs and the only bathroom is downstairs.

Home away from home.

My husband and I plus our two dogs stayed here for 10 weeks. We were in between homes. This is a simple home. But it was clean and comfortable. It’s an older home. Some of the furniture is a little worn. Could use an overall redo. But all in all it was very welcoming and comfortable. The location of the house couldn’t be better. It was wonderful to get to know Lexington. Walking distance to at least a half a dozen restaurants. If you’re interested in visiting UK it’s just a stones throw away, I would definitely recommend this house if you’re interested in staying in downtown Lexington. It’s in an historical area surrounded by beautiful homes. Very walkable and safe. The stairs going upstairs are rather steep. So if you have mobility issues, this home may not be the best for you. It is a duplex. The other side is one story . Plenty of street parking plus you get a parking spot in the back of the house. We will miss this little house.

Cozy get away

This was perfect size for us— we felt very welcomed. It had everything we needed although we never found the dishwasher, although the instructions on how to use it in the thorough welcome book were clear. If you’ll have us back, we look forward to a return visit.

Lovely home away from home

The house is adorable. The furnishings are super comfortable and very well kept, lovely art and decor. The little yard was a perfect spot for an afternoon read and relaxing. The neighborhood is also beautiful. Lovely big ol Kentucky homes along a tree lined street that felt very safe, at all hours. It was a wonderful stay and I recommend it to everyone.

Convenient Location

Small and quaint location. AC upstairs was not enough for the summer KY heat. 2 Bedrooms more appropriate description is one bedroom and a loft. Stairs are pretty steep and wood, so it would be advisable to bring a crate or a way to keep dogs downstairs if your are traveling with them. Owner/property manager were very responsive to all inquiries.

JW's Loft Special in every way!

Our two weeks staying at JW's Loft was made special the moment we arrived. Lights on, music playing on TV and treats in a bowl to snack on while we unpack made us feel at home as soon as we walked in. Everything was neat and tidy. Living room was so enjoyable to relax and watch TV in the evening. The bedroom was very cozy as well. We cooked all are meals at the house and enjoyed grilling several evening's. We look forward to coming back the next time we are here for a horse show. Thanks for sharing your special little house with us Tim and Diane
