El vuelo tubo un retraso por lo cual llegamos a la 1:00am, el taxi del aeropuerto nos llevo hasta el lugar pero la zona se observaba muy insegura y peligrosa, llegamos al hostal pero todo estaba cerrado y decidimos mejor irnos a otro hotel en una zona más segura.

Pasamos una sola noche en el hotel y las cobijas no estaban limpias, tenian olor a polvo, el baño no estaba lo suficientemente limpio.

Excelente
Después de una tarde caótica en la cual me habían cancelado mi reserva en otro hostal, fue una bendición llegar aquí, excelente trato por parte del personal y fueron muy amables en todo momento, incluso me ofrecieron un servicio de taxis ya que vuelo salía de madrugada, lo recomiendo ampliamente

La zona es fea pero está cerca del aeropuerto, no tuvieron servicio para pagar con tarjeta de crédito como se anuncia en la página

Buenas Tardes Lamentamos su descontento con la apariencia de la zona, es un tema externo que escapa de nuestros manos. Sobre el servicio para pagar con tarjeta de credito, sí se puede pero sólo con Visa porque aún Mastercard está en trámite, tal vez usted intentó con esto último, por eso no obtuvo el resultado esperado. Agradecemos de todas formas su comentario y esperamos mejorar todos los aspectos para hacer de su estadía más agradable en una próxima oportunidad!

OK para descansar cerca del aeropuesto.
El colchón era muy incomodo. Aparte de eso todo estuvo bien. Había buena comunicación del hotel antes de mi noche allí para organizar un taxi.

Bueno y malo
Hotel está cómodo y cerca del aeropuerto con wifi y agua caliente. El Sr Paulino muy atento nos atendió y nos explico como irnos a Lima Centro con indicaciones y todo. Servicio de taxi al aeropuerto barato. Lo único malo es que la zona es fea y peligrosa por lo que debes de salir y regresar temprano y no pasa nada. Y las almohadas olían muy mal a sucio.

Realmente, únicamente lo usamos para dormir, porque la mayoría del tiempo lo utilizamos para ir a los partidos de fútbol y para conocer otras ciudades cercanas; Recife, Olinda y playas cercanas incluidas en las excursiones.

Hostel amigable barato y cercano al aeropuerto
Los chicos que atienden son excelentes personas, tiene un muy buen servicio, tiene servicio de traslado al aeropuerto barato, es segura la zona y el hostel.

Sólo si no quieres dormir en el aeropuerto de Lima
Decidí pasar una noche en este hotel debido a su cercanía con el aeropuerto de Lima pero no fue una buena elección ya que las habitaciones son pequeñas y se escucha mucho ruido del exterior del hotel y de las habitaciones vecinas. El baño tenía una pequeña ventana pero no vidrios por lo que era muy frio como para bañarse en la mañana. Además esta ubicado en una zona de aspecto no agradable e inseguro.

Hubo cierta confusión en el check-in. El sitio web hace que parezca como si la habitación ya ha sido pagado por una tarjeta de crédito, por lo que es una sorpresa al llegar y darse cuenta que usted debe pagar. No se aceptan tarjetas de crédito sólo en efectivo. Así que asegúrate de tener dinero disponible para la habitación. Tienen internet.

Sorta close to the airport but a bit sketchy
We only spent one night here - an extended layover before flying on from Lima to Cusco. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy - our cab driver from the airport didn’t think we were making a good decision to go there. But the hostel itself was clean and comfortable and the staff helpful and welcoming. We slept through breakfast but the outdoor courtyard looked very nice.

Thanks for your review!! The cab drivers always say bad things about our location, but is a trik to take tourist to other hotels. Its not a surprise for us. It happens every day, but fortunatetly you insisted on stay with us and we really aprecciate that. Take care and have a nice trip! =)

Nice little place in the blue collar burbs.
Nice little hotel. The area was a little rough and in a more industrial are of the hamlet. The main tourist areas are some distance from the hotel but the bus system is great and I did discover a strip of restaurants and shops just east of the location. There were many inexpensive restaurants between the garages and building supply shops to the west. Certainly an area to be aware of your surroundings but most of the locals were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was rather no frills but that should be obvious at the price. The main staff did not speak any English but there was one gentleman whom they would call on who was extremely helpful, "thank you Victor." I definitely enjoyed my stay.

Didn't Bother Staying
The taxi driver drove me and my friend who had just arrived at the airport, and first I thought the area was a little sketchy but gave it the benefit of the doubt because most neighborhoods close to airports aren't the best. Then we get there, and there are no lights on and nothing to indicate it's a hostel. My friend starts walking to the door and before she gets to it, a guy opens the door and asks if we're staying there. The taxi driver then pulled me aside and said, "are you sure you want to stay here?" We said no, and he drove us about 5 minutes further to a much more comforting hostel.

L'hôtel offre un service de navette à l'aéroport. Nous avons attendu le taxi plus d'une heure à l'aéroport. Problème d'eau chaude, ça pris plus d'une heure pour en avoir. La chambre coutait 45 $ US., il n'avait pas de change pour un billet de 100$. Il voulait prendre ma carte de crédit mais, il n'a pas le terminal. Chambre très petite.

Not a good stay at all
The room was really small, and for some reason the bed made us so itchy that we couldn't sleep for a long time. After a few hours of sleep some women from the hostel started talking so loud in the early morning that we had to wake up. They also gave us slightly ripped bills that nobody would accept, and we had to argue with them for 10 minutes to change the bills.

We stayed here because it was inexpensive and close to the airport. The room was very small and we had to put our baggage on the floor, because there was nowhere else to put it. The toilet did not have a seat, and there was some mold in the shower. It is not a place that you want to spend more than one night.

Convenable entre 2 avions
Hôtel qui convient pour une nuit de passage entre deux avions. Le conducteur du taxi qui a fait le transfert entre l'aéroport et l'hôtel n'était pas vraiment aimable mais après tout ce n'est pas ce qu'on lui demande et nous avons bien été déposé en temps et en heure. A l'inverse nous avons eu un très bon accueil à l'hôtel. La chambre n'était pas très sécurisée (fenêtre cassée donnant sur le couloir).

Basic, no frills accommodation
We needed a cheap place, near the airport, to spend the night before an early morning flight, and Hostal Las Fresas fit the bill. For the $45, I wasn't expecting anything more, but it's very basic. We arrived late on a Sunday evening and there were no places to get dinner from within walking distance, the person on duty spoke no English, the computer /credit card machine was broken so we had to pay in cash, our room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator, etc. But, the room was exactly like the picture, it was really inexpensive, and it was 5 minutes from the airport (although it took 15 minutes to return during traffic the next morning). The breakfast included fresh made scrambled eggs, which was a nice touch. We arranged roundtrip taxi (to/from airport) via the Hostal, and the airport to hostal ride was fine, but in the morning they arrived 15 minutes later than requested which was a little stressful with a flight to catch

Le personnel était très gentil et accueillant. Le chauffeur était au rendez-vous pour venir me chercher comme demandé à l'aéroport et il était à l'heure le lendemain matin pour m'y ramener.La chambre était simple et propre. Par contre, la chambre était très humide et froide pour la nuit. Comme je suis arrivée le 28 juillet, jour de la fête nationale, la quartier était très bruyant durant la nuit.

Relatively nice hostel very close to the airport.
Great experience, Frank and Paulino were both amazing to us. They helped us with anything we needed, and showed us around the area. They also had a taxi who they frequently used and was very nice. The breakfast was pretty simple, an egg and some bread, and the rooms were pretty basic, but overall very good.

Convenient to airport but in a bad area
Since our plane got in very late at night we were thankful to have this hostel close by. We don't recommend paying for an airport pickup because the driver did not leave to get us until we found a pay phone and called the hostel (defeating the purpose of a pre-arranged pickup). The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed it in an outdoor courtyard. The room did not feel secure, as it had sliding windows. Also, the pillows were bumpy. On the other hand, the room was clean and included a towel. The hostel is located in an area close to the airport in an infamous Lima slum. Stay here if you want to be close, but don't tell your mother, and come and go by taxi.

Close to Airport
I booked this hostel twice because it was near the airport and they provided a car service. I was not happy with the front desk not taking my money because it had a tiny tear and some water damage (which I did not cause it was given to me that way). This is a common practice through Peru but still it is not reasonable when it is the end of your trip and your last $50 soles are being declined for not being pretty. Noise travels and echos very loudly. If you are sensitive to noise I would not recommend. It is very hard to locate so I would recommend using their car service. The driver was very friendly and he waited for me when my flight was delayed. He uses his personal car which is a very nice vehicle.

Great for late arrivals and early departures
We got to Las Fresas at 2am and the guy was there to let us in, he was even nice at such an ungodly hour. It's a tiny room, right next to the airport, but there was hot water. There was also a neat little courtyard where we had tea in the morning. There are some quirks - like our room window was into the hallway, but at that point I was just happy to have a bed.

Nice, clean hostel - ugly location
We had about 4 hrs before our next flight and wanted a clean, cheap place to crash and shower before our next flight. I had read previous reviews about this place being perfect for that and it is. The rooms are clean and well kept, the shower is small (any really tall people may have to crouch down - I'm 5'6" and was fine), but has hot water and again is clean. I wish I would have booked the taxi through them b/c outside the airport we were being charged 45-60 soles, while they quoted 30. The one negative is the location. We arrived around midnight and I started to get really worried when I saw the neighborhood. Once you get to the hostel, everything is fine, but you need to be prepared to stay in during your stay until you return to the airport. Overall I would recommend to anyone in this situation, but not to stay as your main hostel in Lima.

Nice hostel--close to the airport!
Stayed here for an afternoon to sleep and rest before our redeye out of Lima close to midnight. Perfect set up! We booked right from the airport and checked in an hour later. Staff very, very accommodating and very gracious and friendly. Had room ready for us and let us check in early. They arranged for a taxi cab to take us to the airport that evening and even included it in the cost of the stay. Great set up. Comfortable room--we only stayed for an afternoon but it was perfect for what we needed!

Good hostel, for quick trip and good price!
Overall, I was satisfied with this hostel. It was exactly what I needed and expected but the room was even better. I paid for the room with my private bathroom and still got a good deal, totally worth it. I only needed it for a couple of hours and it did its job. Breakfast was simple but made fresh right when I came down. Staff was nice as well. I paid for the taxi service provided by the hostel. The only bad thing was the taxi was not there when I got in at 1am, so it was kind of frustrating having to wait and ask to use someone's cell phone to call. Needless to say he showed up and took me to my place in minutes. If you have a short stay and on a budget this is the place to go! If you want a 3 or 5 star hotel, don't look at hostels. You get what you pay for and this was just right!!

施設は値段相応。親切なスタッフがいる。
値段相応。人依存でしたが、感じのいい方が二人いらして、色々親切にしていただきました。 ただ、宿泊予定の客室含め、ガラガラだったにも関わらず、アーリーチェックインで5USD（宿泊料金の20%）取られたのは残念でした。（上記とは別のスタッフ）

Decent place for the price, okay neighborhood
This place is close to the airport which makes it convenient, the staff was waiting for us even though we arrived at almost midnight. The room was small but clean. The breakfast was an egg, white rolls and tea.
