Small place w/view but smelly
This apartment overall was everything we needed but quite small, up a large hill which smelled very strongly of urine and garbage every day. If your nose is strong, don't stay here. It is very close to Rossio square so quite safe but it is up a dark ally. The construction noise was significant during the day starting at 7-8 am. It didn't bother us as we woke up early but if you sleep in this is not the place for you right now. It had a beautiful view with nice deep windows. The apartment has a main entrance with the laundry and then multiple apartments on the way up. This one was the 11th one up 30 stairs after the steep hill so if your mobility isn’t great I wouldn’t recommend this place. The online check in and unlocking the door was a bit annoying to do everytime especially if you don’t have data. There is a back up key. Generally pretty clean with a few missed spots. The pull out couch wasn't super clean and the mattress was very springy. We did have problems with the AC as the last renters changed the mode. Otherwise it worked fine. The company answered in a reasonable time and were helpful. They allowed early check in too. For a reasonable price, it is a good spot downtown though I wouldn't pay more than average :)
