Este sitio es una estafa
1. la ubicación es horrible: una parte muy pobre de la ciudad y una zona roja. A mi se me acercaron 3 prostitutas cuando sali a comprar al deli. 2. El hotel NO es nada comparado a las fotos. Fuimos llevado a un semi sotano en una casa al lado muy deteriorada. 3. Lo peor fue la limpieza. La ropa de cama: no hay fundas de almohadas, no hay sabanas blancas, el colchon era muy malo y las toallas eran MARRONES. Daba asco y yo no soy una persona nada exigente en estos temas. 4. Lo único rescatable: la gente de la recepcion fue amable y el desayuno era gratis (casi ni lo probamos).. Salimos corriendo del lugar a primera hora de la mañana. RECOMENDACION A LA GERENCIA: no le pido a la gerencia que cambie de lugar o que renueve el hotel. Peor por lo menos le pediría que invierta un poquito en colchones nuevos, sabanas nuevas, cobertores y toallas BLANCAS. Si este lugar fuese limpio, todo lo demas "lo pasaria". RECOMENDACION A HOTELS.COM: saquen de la lista este lugar, no hagan negocio con ellos. Asi como esta y por lo que cobran es una trampa y una estafa.

El Castle que aparece en las fotos no tiene nada que ver con el real que está en ruinas, cuando llamas por telefono te llevan a otra casa cercana que esta en unas condiciones de limpieza muy precaria, un timo en toda regla

A beautiful, large old house. Very spacious rooms with high ceilings. It is what it is, i hesitate to use the phrase cheap and cheerful as that would do it an injustice. Value for money, comfortable with great hosts - what more would you want!

I recently had the pleasure of staying the castle lodge guesthouse near Liverpool city, and I must say, it was truly an exceptional experience. Despite offering top-notch service and amenities, the rates were incredibly reasonable. It was refreshing to find a place that provided such excellent value for money. Whether I wanted to visit the famous landmarks, indulge in shopping, or experience the local culture, everything was within easy reach. If you're looking for luxury accommodation this is not for you, but if it's a friendly welcome, helpful staff and basic comfort this is good value for money. A complementary self-serve buffet breakfast was an unexpected bonus which made the logistics of our day so much easier. The only downside was the room was quite hot but opening the window let in traffic noise.

Welcoming staff. Unexpected complimentary continental breakfast. Plenty of parking, but a dodgy area (hotel itself very secure) Let down by the most badly stained mattress (that wasnt in a skip) I've ever seen.

The bed frame was covered in ground in dirt. Dust that accumulates over a few days is ok but this stuff has been there for a year plus.who cleans the place ? Plenty people to meet and greet but nobody cleaning the place. Friendly but noisy and dirty.

Great little find. Basic but pleasent
Overall we had a really good stay. The staff were fantastic, made us feel really welcome and even upgraded us to the biggest room I'd ever stayed in for ko extra charge. They provide free breakfast to give back to people during the cost of living crisis which I thought was a lovely touch and it was a really good spread. Bed clothes were super clean and could smell the freshness from them. The guest house is old and the bathrooms could definitely be updated as the shower barely worked. It is a little out of the city and in the red light area of Liverpool but we didnt notice anything like that during our stay.

Friendly staff. Lovely dinning room. Continental breakfast was a bonus. Rooms were fine. Always appreciative of tea facilities in the room especially after a 5 hour drive. Easy to get an uber into town.

Liverpool's hidden gem
Great stay hosts over and above to help upgraded room at no extra cost due to wife's mobility. Breakfast complimentary for season. Room/apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious bright, warm and quiet despite been on main road. Excellent hotel and will definitely visit again.
