Not sure why you have given 6 out of 10 as you did not say that you were disappointed with anything on the contrary you were very positive with your comments to us at the time

I am sorry that you feel you were misled but we do not have control over how the Guest House is described on the site, we have asked for it to be mentioned that the pools are not our pools but corporate passes we have for guests at a local health and leisure club. With regard to the bathroom it states in the more information when you select the room you wish to book that it is a "Detached Private Bathroom. You get a automatic email once you have booked explaining this in case it was missed and giving the opportunity to upgrade to a ensuite room. With regard to the noise as I pointed out on check in if there was any problems do come and talk to us as we cannot address any issues once you have left, we mention about doors needing to be closed quietly and not left to slam on their own, but we can only ask guests to comply with this. As we always say to guests when using booking site always ask questions before you book don't assume anything. If you had looked at the pictures on the site you will have seen that no way a 10 bedroom guest house could have those facilities in the photos shown and should have left you to ask the question about the pools.

Thank you for your comments, unfortunately we had to have a structured breakfast time to keep everyone to their own table and not share, that ment that those who were already in had first dibs at time slots.

Dear Elaine, We are sorry that you chose not to say what you thought to ourselves, we do accept that some crockery is ready for replacing, we did offer you an upgrade to an ensuite room which you declined, as by the booking we can see you chose the cheapest room. We are not aware that any trapps were not clean as all have been checked at the end of March. We do not claim to be a modern boutique place but one that is family oriented and practical for the moden traver.
