Habitacion enana con manchas de humedad en techo
Muy decepcionante el desayuno. Una de las cosas que mas disfruto cuando viajo a Inglaterra es el desayuno ingles completo, aqui aparte de estar servido en una cocina era un desayuno continental , sin huevos ni salchicha ni beicon etc etc...Cuando le pedi un huevo frito contesto que NO porque la cocina era pequeña y oleria a frito y grasa. ( que excusa mas tonta). Le pedimos para el segundo dia que nos preparara huevos hervidos (por lo menos)y si tuvimos huevos hervidos.... El tercer dia NO HUEVOS porque no tenia huevos y no podia comprar al ser fiesta en Londres. He ido muchas veces B&B y siempre ha sido el desayuno fantastico y servido en una sala tipica britanica con buena vista a jardines, aqui el jardin desastroso, descuidado, feo. La habitacion muy, muy pequeña sin sitio para poner las dos pequeñas maletas (trolley) y un armario de 50cm inestable, que cada vez que habrias la puerta se movia como un puding, falcado en el suelo con carton para nivelarlo. En el techo lleno de manchas de humedad. El baño en orden, la unica pega que teniamos que salir de la habitacion al pasillo, aunque el dueño nos aseguro que era de uso exclusivo para nosotros. Para la television tres mandos, pero ninguno funcionaba teniamos que cambiar los canales y apagarlo manualmente. NO VOLVEREMOS nunca mas

Last minute accommodation choice after our original accommodations fell through. Clean comfortable and quiet in a wonderful safe neighbourhood next to Kew Gardens and an insta-viral Kew Station coffee shops! We were married on the Leap Year and will fondly remember Kew Studios and Rooms!

Great location for Kew Gardens. Room clean enough. Big enough. Bathroom no shower screen or bath mat so slippery floor. Broken furniture in bedroom but fine for one night stop over. Heard shouting and swearing in the morning which was disconcerting. Phoned owners who said all was well!

Apartment was clean. Personnel was flexible and accommodating. Getting in contact by phone was not easy as multiple phone numbers were either no longer in service or gave no answer on arrival. Opening or closing room and house (front) door took some practice but we got it in the end.

Tried to contact the owners for 24 hours by land line phone, 3 mobile phone numbers, email, text and expedia messaging, no response before checkin. One mobile phone number didn’t connect and the others went to voicemail. Left several messages but no one replied. had no idea if anyone was going to be there to let us in. Unusually for me i hadn't checked the reviews beforehand. Wish i had. It was convenient for Kew gardens but that’s all i can say.

It’s not a hotel, it’s a house with sparsely furnished rooms and paper thin walls and a very cheap mattress. Amenities include: loud arguing, neighbours, the strong smell of marijuana and the police being called on other guests. It’s cheap for good reason. Never again.

It was very convenient for my purpose in the area of going to the nearby cemetery to visit. The Richmond area is also known to me and it is very pleasant to stay in that area near the river Thames and visit historical places. The bus stop was outside the property and Kew Gardens underground very near. There was a good selection of restaurants, coffee places and shops by Kew Gardens Station and also in Sandycombe Road where the property is situated. The negative side was that the underground trains travel at the back of the studio where I was staying. It disturbed my sleep the first night but not the second as my brain obviously had become accustomed to the background noise. I would stay again here. The host was polite and welcoming and so was the cleaner.

The loo seat was loose & the window blind in my room fell off when I closed it. There was no remote for the tv & the front door key didn't work properly "there is a knack to it" apparently.

Unfortunately when I stayed there was refurbishment going on so the kerb appeal was not great. I booked a double room and got upgraded to a studio which was a pleasant but welcome surprise. The studio was clean but lacked attention to detail with maintenance, for example light bulbs not working, bathroom door badly fitting, shower head holder broken. Guests need to be aware that the train line runs very close to the back of the studios with trains running frequently between 6am - midnight. All in all, the studio was adequate for my weekend stay

Basic, tired but clean
What can I say, that no one else has already said! Room 3 very small, bed not particularly comfortable only one pillow each, shower gel and hand wash, coffee and tea facility and a fan, also a hair dryer, very basic and the kerb appeal needs attention, the hall way narrow and dead flowers in vases, floor needed a mop but ideal for some where to get your head down after Kew Gardens music!

Friendly welcome. Great location for visiting Kew Gardens for evening concert. Felt save walking back. Comfortable and clean beds (for us anyway as quite soft) Train line behind which we didn’t mind. Work being done on the hotel so quite dusty but as only there for one night we didn’t mind and the price was good. Once work is complete should be a lot better and not so messy around the side.

Great location being so close to the tube. Easy to find parking after 12 Monday to Friday and no restrictions at weekends. Good cooking facilities and toiletries supplied Only negative is being so close to the noise of trains late at night. Ideal for one night though

I liked that outside the property there are a couple of restaurants. I didn’t like that the room is too small, particularly the restroom. Also I didn’t like that the room and the restroom weren’t sparkling clean.

My husband stayed here with friends for a concert nearby. He said the room was clean but much smaller than it looked on the pictures. It was basic but they were only there one night so fine for their needs.

This place has some wonderful aspects. The first is that you will never have to wonder if you have missed your underground train. That's because it isn't underground and is actually running about 20 yards behind your back window! That means you never have to worry if you have missed it because you will be able to see it and hear it! This will continue up till 2:30 at night when you can happily say," I didn't want to be on that train anyway!" And if you are the person with, do it yourself capacity, you will be intrigued by the numerous possibilities of improvements in the room. You can be happily employed thinking about how you could actually fix the bathroom door so that it actually stays shut! Or how to repair the broken flooring that has been covered up cleverly by an armchair? So that's the good stuff. They not so good stuff is that the room is very small so that it's hard to be in the room with an open suitcase anywhere except on the bed. That of course makes sleeping difficult! Also, the people who rent the room say that it is set up for self-catering. However, there are only two saucepans and absolutely no kitchen utensils. That means that if you actually want to cut something you have to bring your own knife or use one of the butter knives that is duller than Queen Camellia. This place is absolutely not worth it. The money and should be avoided at all costs unless rain prevents you from sleeping on the park bench.

This is an affordable place to stay in a cute neighborhood with friendly hosts. The free onsite parking, however, turned out to be street parking a block away. Also, despite my messages and phone calls in advance to find out about parking and wheelchair access, we never got a response. When we arrived in person, they were quite lovely. This property is next to a mostly quiet tram track. All in all, we slept well and were comfortable.

Comfortable clean and convenient
Comfortable modern and clean. Very convenient for our daughter’s house nearby. Full Self catering equipment including dishwasher. As it was weekend parking was easy as residential permits only Monday to Friday. Outside it looks like a work in progress but our room was good. Warm duvet and plenty of hot water. We will probably book again as our daughter does not have a spare room

Geoffrey went above & beyond in Accommodating us, even moving his own car to free up an on site parking space. Our room was good overall, clean & functional, I’d recommend Kew Rooms - certainly for the price, we will return 👍

Paid the right amount for what we got
I think we probably got what we paid for, which was an inexpensive night’s accommodation in an expensive part of London. We didn’t take advantage of the on- road parking outside the property as we were able to use the off-road drive at our son’s rented flat around the corner.

There is no self-parking on-site, there is offsite residential parking. We were in a studio room, the decor was outdated, some of the lighting was not working, the towels weren’t bath towels as it was too small to wrap around your body. There was tea and coffee available, however the coffee was so old it was baked into the little container. Overall, definitely wouldn’t recommend and we left as soon as we could.

Kew rooms stay.
We stayed at Kew Rooms for a wedding we were attending in Kew Gardens. On arrival the staff were lovely and very accommodating. However when we were shown to our room we were slightly disappointed, it was unclean, run down and in a state of repair. There were mould/leak patches covering the ceiling, the skirting boards were not completely fixed to the walls, the blind was ripped and dirty. In the private bathroom the toilet seat was very loose and unstable. We don't feel as if the pictures on the website were a true reflection of the property.
