We stayed at the Sonder for 5 days and it was a very nice stay. I thought it very good value. The positives: - easy walk to transportation. ~10 minutes from Paddington, Bayswater, and Lancaster Gate. - 5 minute walk to Hyde Park and 10 minutes to Italian Garden and Kensington Palace. - Very friendly and helpful staff - Good WiFi and nice lobby area The downsides - there was train right outside our window. It didn’t bother us too much - there is an extra small charge for basic room maintenance. - they offer early check in for a fair fee, but the earliest is 1:00 pm. If they could offer 2 hours earlier that would be much more helpful since many US flights arrive before 9:00 am - the area is nice and safe but not too many dining options in immediate area (though there is an excellent Greek family-owned restaurant right down the street). I would definitely stay there again, and because of my stay there I will look into other Sonder properties.

The stay was great. I didn’t like the concept of cleaning my room for an additional fee. Either include the fee or tell guests that your room won’t be cleaned during your stay… but don’t ask for more… in order to…

The property is very well maintained and newly renovated. It has easy access to Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate Station. There is a very large Waitrose grocery store only 15 minutes walk away. There is a pub just one block away.

My only concern was the room was very small and for 2 adults with cases there wasn’t much room. Everything else was great. Location and accessibility to cafes, restaurants and transport was really good.

Comfortable 4 nights stay
Just 4 nights stay as visiting a friend, room’s spacious, comfortable and clean. I arrived London super early due to early flight, the room wouldn’t be ready anyway but the staff had been very helpful in helping about the luggage storage. Happy for my whole stay and will go back again

Good location, poor experience.
AC didn’t work, fire alarm one night followed by hall alarm, drunk/loud people woke me for prolonged periods 3 of 4 nights, people came and jiggled the door handle early in the morning. I think the staff care but the other guests and lack of air lead to poor sleep. Good location near Kensington and underground stations.

I was extremely happy with Sonder The Henry. I thought it was the best hotel to stay at in London for a first timer like myself. It was conveniently located next to a Big Bus Tour stop, which made it easy to get around. It was right across the street from a major park/garden. The only downside about the property is that you have to pay for housekeeping everyday but that was a minor convivence as the hotel proved you with free and fresh towels. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit.
