I made a reservation at this property but my plans unexpectedly changed and I had to cancel the reservation. Note that I gave notice soon enough to qualify for a full refund. I had several calls into VRBO customer service to help with the cancelation and they reached out to the property owner/manager but they were unresponsive. No communication at all from the host. VRBO customer service said I should submit a claim to my credit card company to get a refund as they were unable to connect for any communication with the host. I now have been given a negative review by the host and it is unfortunate that I need to respond to this negative review on my profile. I followed all of the rules and regulations but an uncommunicative host can still hurt you. Unfortunate.
