Great location
Great location, clean property. The place has a lot of furniture and not a lot of space, but if you don’t need indoor space, it’s quite nice. The furniture in the photos didn’t quite match what was there.

Belmont Shores Apt.
We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was comfortable and met our needs. It was mostly clean except for a couple of greasy dishes amongst the clean dishes in the cupboard. It is in a great location with many good restaurants and the beach within walking distance. The only disappointment was that when we reserved the apartment the listing said that one of the amenities was a hot tub. This was a big selling point for us but it turns out there is no hot tub. I thought we should have received a partial refund for this, and made a request for the refund, but have not received any.

The bathroom was a little grubby. All of the windows were covered with a opaque film, so you couldn't see out. We stayed when it was cold and rainy, so we couldnt keep the windows open. It was kind of claustrophobic because we couldnt see out. The 2 beds were situated in such a way that there wasn't room to get in and out of bed without crawling over the other person. If they simply rotated the beds and removed some excess furniture, there would be plenty of room.

Perfect
My partner and I stayed here with the two dogs and my brother whom we picked up from East LA. Every day was a dog beach day and I hate to say it but my Midwest dogs have turned into beach dogs! This truly is a beautiful spot in an absolute perfect location. Tom the owner was super fast in all responses. The place was clean, SO many towels!!!!!! I hope we are welcomed back as we hope to come back every year! Thank you Tom!!!!

Siblings Trip
I enjoyed my stay from the cozy and clean unit we stayed in, to the friendly neighborhood. This location is near 2nd street which is a great place to grab food and shop. Everything was walkable and we didn’t need a vehicle. I will definitely stay again!

Great place to stay!
Things that were great: location, great lighting from windows, nice size bedrooms, bath and kitchen, great decor! Things I would have liked to have: broom and stand-up fan. As a family of 3, we had lots of room and were very comfortable.

Accurate
Listing is accurate. Clean and compact. Fyi only 1 bureau for hanging clothes (no closets) so dont bring many things to hang. Lots of drawers. Only one issue with a window and addressed immediately. Walking distance to heart of Belmont Shores. Tons of restaurants, coffee shops and stores. We were there Mon-Thurs and never had problem finding street parking for our 2 cars. Neighborhood felt very safe, lots of single family homes.

Wonderful Stay - Incredible Location
The property is a lovely place, located very close to great shops, restaurants, and the beach. The owner was very communicative throughout the entire process. The home was very comfortable and clean. Cannot recommend enough!

Second stay as good as the first
We stayed here last month and immediately booked a second stay. The location can't be beat if you like good restaurants, coffee shops, cute shops, and numerous bars, all within walking distance. Despite being so close to a busy strip, the apartment is quiet. Great place!

True Gem
Traveled for business in Long Beach. The neighborhood was quiet yet steps away from everything in Belmont Shores. Much nicer area than Long Beach proper as well. The place was fully stocked for as long as anyone would stay. Beds are comfortable (1 moreso than the other) as well and plenty of space, especially at this price point. And the owner/manager was super prompt on replies and all instructions were clear, making the entire process effortless. In short, it was perfect.

Super close to shops/dining. Home is as described in listing. We had the hot/cold water issue our first night but didn’t happen again the rest of our stay. I wish there were checkout instructions/guidance as far as where to put trash, guidance on how to handle dirty linens, etc. otherwise was a great stay! We would definitely rent here again!

Fantastic location
This property is within a block of Second Street, a long street filled with restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. The people are friendly and even when it's cold out, the days are beautiful. The apartment is as described and perfect for a weekend getaway. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it seemed well equipped. I agree with a previous reviewer that the shower is a little dicey with hot to cold variations, but I would expect that in an older property. The beds were comfortable and there were sufficient towels for us. We really enjoyed our stay and we are already talking about booking another. Great place!

Perfect Belmont/Beach apartment
Very nice upper floor apartment with 2 comfy beds/bedrooms, beautifully decorated in beach theme, nice balcony and large patio area to enjoy coffee and the always amazing weather, lovely surprisingly super quiet location, so convenient to 2nd Street restaurants and shops, and walking distance to both bay and ocean beaches, street parking was readily available (October stay). Only issues was AC very slow to cool as noted, seasonal, fine if eves cool, open windows and stairs and walkway in need of broken tile repair. Owner below was quickly responsive when AC went down. Would definitely book again.

Great location and friendly neighborhood
When we arrived seeing it from the outside it was so pretty. The front yard was spacious and quaint at the same time. It was decorated perfectly inside and quiet. The neighborhood was alive but still quiet. Walking distance to great restaurants, Starbucks and the beach!!!! The only negative would be that it was 93 degrees inside the unit when we arrived. It took forever to cool the place down. Otherwise everything was AMAZING. FIVE STARS!!!

Great Dog-friendly Location
Terrific location 1/2 block north of 2nd Street. The apartment is very comfortable but the stand-out feature is the huge fenced front yard. My Corgi loved it and we were able to host a brunch for six. The landlord, Tom, is very helpful and accommodating.

Perfect place in a PERFECT location
What a cute, beachy themed property Tom’s place was. The beds were comfortable along with plenty of towels. When we needed beach towels, Tom quickly came over with plenty. There are many great restaurants within walking distance but cooking in the apartment was also easy to do. This is a place we will return to!

Cozy bungalow with great location
This unit was located in a great neighborhood with an abundance of restaurants within walking distance. Our favorite eatery was Open Sesame with middle eastern food choices. The area was surprisingly quiet considering all the businesses nearby. The kitchen in the unit was well stocked with appliances and and cookware. There is no dining table for eating. but there are 3 chairs at a counter which could be used. Beds were comfortable. There was a large front yard with table and chairs for outside relaxation.

The property was in a perfect location. Just a minute walk from 2nd street, which has plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and other stores. After that it’s a short walk to the beach. The house was very clean and has a great beach theme, perfect for little get away.

Perfect location
We enjoyed our stay at Tom's place. The location was perfect and the rental had everything we needed. The linens and towels were good quality and clean. Comfy beds, lots of pillows, and a great fenced yard! The property could use some renovations or at least a new coat of paint, but that didn't detract from our enjoyment of the weekend. We will be back!

Great little place in the heart of Long Beach
The location of this property was perfect for us - not only is it close to the beach and dining, it was very close to family we had in the area as well. Parking was easier than expected. The place is small - we wished the beds were positioned better so both people could get in/out easier, but they were comfortable. The hot water in the shower seemed a little finnicky - if it went cold, you just had to wait a moment for the hot water to come back. There was in fact shampoo and body wash provided and an extra towel was brought to us ASAP when requested. The kitchen is quite small, but has all the appliances you'd need - just not a lot of room to sit and eat - but we were out the whole week with family or eating at nearby restaurants anyway. Living room is comfortable with a large TV with cable access. Access in/out of the property is simple and we would definitely return! Thanks Tom for a great stay over Thanksgiving!

Great location, parking a bit tough.
Perfect location for being able to walk to coffee, dinner, shops! Parking tough in the evenings mostly, but never had to walk more than a large block or so. Didn't have any soap or shampoo in the shower. Funny b/c I always bring my own. But the last few places I've stayed at had everything needed for a shower so, I didn't bring any. We needed our daughter to bring us some soap! No issues with noise from downstairs. Nice to have two beds so my daughter could stay with us one night. Our bed VERY comfortable, hers not as much. Also, very sparce kitchen, so if you're planning to cook, may need to bring basics. If not, plenty of restaurants to walk to. We recommend 'Open Sesame' and 'Sushi on Fire'. Would stay here again.

Great Place to Stay...
Belmont Shore is a great property! It was super clean and the location was perfect! It's a 10 minute walk to the beach; super close to 2nd St. where all of the shops and restaurants are located; and there are parks close by. Parking option is only street parking, but we lucked out each time we returned to the property and didn't have to park too far away. Tom was a great host! Very responsive and he made sure we had everything we needed. The property had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider it for our future trips to Long Beach if it's available!
