Sorry to hear about your noisy neighbors, which I would have addressed that night had I been aware. One can never have enough hooks, the lighting supplied by three table lamps, 4 vanity bulbs and 1 overhead lamp in the bathroom is never enough! Ditto on the half-dozen, two-plug electrical outlets. Alas, the front windows of our pet-friendly upstairs rooms, don't open. We hope you return and if Fido stays home next time be sure and specify a ground floor unit with fully functioning windows front and back (all rooms have A/C). I'm surprised that the traffic disturbed you as your room was the farthest from the road that you could still sleep under our roof. In my 3 decades here, I've always found road noise quiets down significantly during sleeping hours. However, this is Vermont and the noisy milk truck keeps "farmer's hours."Thanks again,

Thanks. The mid-March storms of 2023 dropped more than 3 feet of snow (50" for the month, presenting multiple challenges? "Does we ski or do we move snow?" We got up early and made coffee. We plowed. We shoveled. We raked the roof -- all with time to spare for a few turns in the thigh-deep before day's end. Hope you had as much fun.

Out of service since Covid (Mar. 2020), we also miss the Jacuzzi and dry heat sauna. They will be back someday, but not before we can hire more folks to help run the Timber Inn.

FYI: The phone rings at my night table. Forgive my grog on after-hours calls. Book online before 9pm and the key to your warm and comfortable bed will be waiting for you. And I'll have the hot coffee ready in the office before 7am.

Thanks. Happy to be of assistance. It can be tough finding pet-friendly lodging. VT Health regulations say that if we allow pets into some rooms, we must also offer rooms that have never housed pets -- unless we do deep cleaning between rentals -- including carpet shampoo. Pets go upstairs.

Dear Jan, Sorry that we couldn't welcome you personally to our motel. We married off our son this past weekend and became overwhelmed by last minute tasks. Glad to learn that you found your room spotless and bed comfortable. For emergency reasons, our "on-duty" manager Sean had posted his cell phone number beside where you picked up your key. We are awaiting his response regarding your late evening noise complaint, should you have dialed his cell. Our policy is to immediately and personally address noise complaints and excessive rowdiness. Future customers reading this review will note that we post the WiFi code on the back of all key tags. We are sorry that you had to poke around to find it. Price-wise, you correctly noted that our price is high. As for "overpriced," our market contains a range of price-points, some "outrageous," others "overpriced," still others "a good value for the money" and others "not worth a stay at any price." But Okemo pulled a rabbit out of a hat (again) and conditions were decent.
