Stunning views, quaint older cabin. Very comfortable beds! It was pretty clean looking inside, but a bit musty smelling. Needs an occasional sweep of old spiderwebs on the outside. Very responsive property manager

Relaxing getaway!!!
The house was clean and ready for us to enjoy. The spot is beautiful and quiet. My son and daughter enjoyed fishing bringing in a haul of about 30 fish caught. Not all were keepers but the most important thing was Watching them catching! The owner was great to deal with as well. Overall it was a wonderful weekend...

Nice getaway
I enjoyed. We decided last minute to book, and it was a good experience with my family. It's a small place but cozy, and cutie. The outdoor area is large, private dock, private fishing, we caught 8 everyone was excited, it was fun. Love the deck, cooking out, looking out to the lake, plus walmart 10 mins away, I would definitely come back. Our little family enjoyed it.

Great cozy cabin.
This is our second stay in this cabin. It’s a great little place with an awesome view of the lake. The owner’s relaxed check in and check out policies really makes for a relaxing time. Will return soon!

Great oasis
Lovely property close to everything you need. We had cold rainy weather but enjoyed the dock and fire pit while we could :) definitely planning to return in the summer!

Family time to connect and relax
Cute and cozy. Home was equipped with all the necessary items. Clean and very cozy. Not to big or to small. The view of the lake was amazing. Must take your lake toys. Will be back.

Lake Cabin
This was more a cabin than a home. Probably built in the 70's. I chose it because the location , price ,and water access was exactly what we wanted. Not fancy but comfortable. We did not internet because we were there to spend time together. we had everything we needed ;cooked before we went; grilled out 2 X.. We Kayaked and floated and sat under the most beautiful oak tree. Only came in to go to bed. Great time with our adult kids!

The perfect lake house for us
So wonderful! The view is fantastic and the sunsets are amazing. A wonderful deck facing the lake for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. A bar-b-que grill, fire pit, and fully stocked kitchen with dishes, cookware, anything we needed. The manager kept in close contact with us and made sure everything was going well. We love the location and hope to be back soon.

The house and the location on the lake were both really great! A perfect, cozy cabin!
Went to Cedar Creek for a 4 day fishing tournament, and was disappointed that the boat dock was not available for use, while we could tie up our boat to the dock, the owners boat is being stored on the lift and this lake does not accommodate an overnight tie up as the waves and turbidity of the water will destroy a boat in the water tied to a dock. It was very inconvenient to launch, trailer, load and unload several times a day to keep the boat out of the turbulent waves. Over 4 days, this process became VERY cumbersome! My overall impression of the property is beautiful and inviting, but my assumption that the boat dock would be available for use was my mistake, and I understand the owner will not be moving the boat from the dock for renter use, so it is NOT available for use if your a weekend boater! The ramp is about 2 blocks away from the house and is close but still inconvienient.

Wonderful relaxing stay!
My family had a lovely stay on Cedar Creek Reservoir! The house was easy to find, very clean, right on the water and just what we needed. It was cooler, so we went shopping in the mornings in Gun Barrel City and Mabank, and came back to the house to kayak (brought our own) in the afternoons. Built a fire one evening, drove to Purtis Creek State Park one morning to hike. Would stay here again!

Very Quiet Easy Access Comfortable Cabin
We liked the comfort of this quaint cabin. The ability to fish just feet away from your back door was exactly what we were looking for. Only downside was the weather. Rainy and cold no fish biting. We left early but will definitely return.

Nice Little Place to take a break
Easy renting experience. Place is accurately described. Beautiful view. We were able to bring our pup, fish, relax. Getting pup into water was not possible, as there was no place for us to get him in or out.

Amazing experience
We had an amazing experience. The kids had a blast. The cabin was really nice from the inside, and very authentic! Fishing experience was decent, and managed to catch catfish while night fishing. Ann was very kind texting me checking on us, and providing tips to help our stay. I would definitely come back again.

The house is perfect and very comfortable. We tied a floatie to the dock and swam all afternoon. We cooked out in the evenings and had coffee on the deck in the mornings. Very peaceful and relaxing and Anne was great at communicating!

Nice little lake house with a big view.
My family and I enjoyed this nice lake house for the week. The house is well maintained and managed and it exceeded our expectations. Situated directly on the east shore of Cedar Creek Reservoir, it offered amazing views the lake and awesome sunsets to be remembered. The lake house has a boat dock that can be used for fishing, swimming and for boating with a boat launch only two blocks away. We highly recommend this lake house for either a week stay or just a weekend get away.

Beautiful get away
This cottage was so clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed swimming during the day, beautiful sunsets in the evening and board games at night. Ann was helpful and pleasant to talk to making sure we were happy with our stay. My 8 yr old granddaughter didn't want to leave. Neither did I for that matter. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Great property right on the water.
Great property with a private dock... the kids caught 3 catfish. We tied a floating island to the dock and had a blast! The house does not have a washer and dryer but the railing on the dock had plenty of space to hang out beach towels.

For some reason, the system wont let me give 5 stars. I really want to give 5 stars or more. Ann and Karen made this trip awesome. This was the 1st time fishing for our 8 year old and me and my husband are pretty much novices. They were readily available to assist and had pretty much anything we needed. They are so nice and kind and made this an experience that my son won't forget anytime soon. Thanks Ann & Karen!

Paradise on Earth
Lovely place to relieve stress, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful lake. We have stayed at many lakes and this was the first that had ceiling to floor picture windows overlooking the lake. Can’t beat the view! While there, my husband caught 3 catfish from the boathouse. Can you imagine if you had a boat! We definitely are planning to return for a longer length of time. The property manager Anne lives next door. She was kind and considerate, providing folding chairs while my husband was fishing. Can’t wait to return!

Relaxing weekend
We really enjoyed our stay. Very quite and peaceful. We enjoyed the fact that there was no traffic or noise. The house is well done and clean. If there was anything that we would change, it would be queen or king beds, instead or double beds.
