Great Presidents weekend getaway, close to slopes!

We loved everything about the cabin, Scott was very helpful and quick to reply. The place was so cozy and very beautifully placed on the mountain side. Great views! Only 10 minutes from Cataloochee Ski Area. Would certainly return!

Family Trip 2024

We had 4 generations of family from ages 5-77… cabin was perfect for my parents who are slightly disabled and can’t walk well, there was very limited steps, 1st floor bedroom with walk in shower for them…. Plenty of space for everyone! We were a short drive to Santa Land and Cherokee which made it convenient for us….

Cabin in Maggie Valley

Cabin is beautiful and very clean. Location is great but the driveway is very steep and narrow. Limited parking and turnaround room. The owner was very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this cabin just be aware of the parking situation.

Let’s get the summer started!

Almost don’t want anyone else to find this amazing cabin!! Everything you see in photos, even beyond in person. Not one thing was NOT thought of by owners for our stay! 45 min from Asheville airport made it a breeze! Thanks so much! Hope we can come back in the future. PS. The temperature was ooh-la-la! And the deck was perfect to enjoy it!

Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It's a beautiful house, with a mix of modern & mountain cabin. There are phone chargers embedded in the kitchen island. The beds were quite comfortable. I loved the fan in the upstairs bedroom. I also loved that all the beds were at least queen size. I also loved that there were multiple beds of that size on the first floor. It made traveling with older family members much easier because they didn't have to climb lots of steps to be able to sleep in a comfortable sized bed. They do have several games there you are able to play. There are also some staples there for your use in the pantry closet & the drawers. Be aware that the road to the property is steep. The driveway is even steeper. You don't have to drive very far for either. We loved the fire pit. Sitting outside with the family was the favorite part of our trip. There is a *folder* of information. Be sure to read that and the sticky notes. It took a moment or two for me to figure it out the dishwasher then I read the sticky note! The host was very efficient & very easy to work with. The location was perfect for us. Close to both Maggie Valley & Waynesville. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Even better than the photographs

We made a quick Presidents Day weekend trip to Maggie Valley in hopes to catch sight of snow for our kids. (We found some in the GSM Cataloochee area!) This listing looked great but exceeded our expectations. The owners have thought of all amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. Well outfitted kitchen, new appliances, very clean, comfortable bedding with extra blankets/pillows, games/books/TVs in all rooms, Keurig k-cup/pot combo machine, wine fridge, etc. The house had enough room for us to spread out. We made use of the washer and dryer after clothing got wet/dirty after snow tubing. The WiFi worked strong. We intended to make s’mores (sticks/firewood provided by owner) but it got a little late and cold the evening we planned for it. There are plenty of nearby local restaurants if you won’t wish to cook. We enjoyed Joey’s Pancake House, BearWaters Brewing, and Cafe Italiano. The owner lists a small nearby market but there is also a full Publix and Ingles about 6 miles away in Waynesville. There are other homes very near the house. We didn’t see anyone other than some rabbits that must live under the deck and in the nearby brush. Although the view isn’t that impressive in the day time, it is really fun to observe the twinkling lights on the mountain opposite the valley at night. As owner mentions driveway is steep and maybe intimidating if you’re new to mountain driving (we aren’t) - rest assured you can get up it just fine! 4WD if snow/ice. Thank you for a great stay!

Maggie Valley Birthday

My twin daughters were turning 14 years old, they wanted to see snow for their birthday so we rented this beautiful cabin. We woke up to very light flurries coming down, went snow tubing at Tube World, went to Soco Falls and they got to see snow on the way. We came back to the cabin, started a fire in the fire pit and made s’mores. We played games, we laughed so hard and we just enjoyed family time. It was a perfect birthday get away / family vacation. Thank you Scott!

Awesome thanks place but…

This house is amazing. Great location and absolutely beautiful on the inside. Pictures on listing are accurate. Only one issue and I have never experienced this in all our stays…we had to take our trash with us or pay a $25 PER TRASH BAG fee (despite there being a “roll to the curb trash can”) is this normal? Maybe it is but definitely a draw back. Thankfully we have a truck and were able to bring our trash home to put in our bins. Heads up if you are driving a smaller car and have a long trip home, are renting a car or Uber from the airport. The address for the local county trash dump was provided…but we stayed over Christmas so they were closed. Just prepare. Other than that, a beautiful home.

Beautiful Home

Absolutely loved this beautiful cabin! The home is clean, the decor is inviting and pleasant, and the kitchen is great. One member of our party was 80+ years and the house was easy for her to get around. The location is perfect--easy access to Maggie Valley and Waynesville while still having views and a peaceful setting. Perfect getaway. We would return to this property.

Nice Cabin Great View

The cabin is a beautiful 3 bedroom 3 bath on the side of the mountain. It has a wonderful view of Maggie Valley. The cabin is spacious. An up to date kitchen with everything you would need. The bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy and comfortable. And is in a great location.

Best experience I've ever had

This was the absolute best VRBO property I have stayed at. From the management team who answered my questions quickly, to the property owner who addressed all my questions and needs, this was a 10! I had a concern with the property, and Scott the owner scheduled a video chat to clarify any questions I had. He was always available during our stay and was VERY accommodating!! I plan on visiting this area again, and I will be sure to rent out this property. The neighbors were great, and it was a quiet serene location. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. If anyone is looking for a place to stay in Maggie Valley, do not pass this opportunity! Thank you Scott for making our stay smooth with no issues!!!!
