We spent 3 days at this condo and overall it was a very nice experience. We would likely stay here again. I like to keep these reviews simple, so here goes:
Pros:
Warm - The heater and gas fireplace worked great to keep us warm during our winter visit (maybe a little too warm, see below).
Cozy - The beds and the living room furniture was perfectly firm, and the carpet was very plush as well.
Quiet - We never heard the neighbors (which may have meant the adjacent condo was empty), and the neighborhood in general was pleasant during our visit.
Spacious - we had a dinner party with friends and the condo had plenty of room in the living area, dining area, and kitchen. The bedrooms, especially the master, had plenty of space for our things and room to spread out and get really cozy. Having the garage was nice for storing our ski gear (but we came with two full-size trucks and didn't think they would fit in the garage - however, we were able to park both in the driveway).
Other pluses - kitchen was well equipped with dishes and cookware for entertaining and cooking in (which is a huge plus when Mammoth is booked), the kids loved sledding and playing with their snowboards down the little snow hill out back, the three coat racks in the condo were well used, the washer and dryer were a nice plus, equipped with soap in the baths, the kitchen, and the laundry room, some basics were available in the kitchen (e.g. salt, pepper, vinegar, pancake syrup, etc.), plus there was ice in the freezer for cocktails and such!
The check-in/-out process was very easy.
Cons:
The black ice at the front door, on both upper decks, and the back deck was not welcoming. We felt like this should be included in the regular maintenance of the complex.
There were a couple of basics that were not included in the kitchen supplies (e.g. cooking oil, aluminum foil, etc.) that would have been much appreciated.
The thermostat for the heating is on the lower level and it tended to get a bit too warm upstairs while the temperatures were just right downstairs. Having a thermostat on each level would have been preferred, but we cracked some windows upstairs to remedy the problem.
