Mockingbird Pointe es un tranquilo paraíso tropical de 1/2 acre frente al mar tropical en el corazón de los Cayos de Florida, con piscina privada climatizada o enfriada de 16 'x 32' en cemento molido con cubierta de chapoteo. Great stay

We have been renting this property for several years and really enjoy it! The owners couldn't be any nicer and communicate quickly if there are any issues which are very rare.The kitchen was also recently renovated and it looks superb!We've booked this property again next year knowing what to expect.You can't go wrong here!!!You can't go wrong

Our Private Resort

That's what it felt like, our own private resort. The abundant flora and fauna had us totally isolated from neighboring properties yet we still had a lovely and expansive view of the lagoon where we saw dolphins and manatees. The home was lovely both inside and out. The house description did not do it justice, it was even more beautiful than listed. We had use of numerous outdoor equipment, washer/dryer, well equipped kitchen, and a very, very relaxing pool and garden area. I can not see another rental experience ever being as nice as this. Oh, and communication with the owners was very quick. "Thank you" to the home owners.

Resort Vibe, just relax vacation spot!

We loved everything about this vacation home. Well taken care of with plenty of things to do. Fished off the dock, caught some neat fish, saw manatees swimming next to the dock, quick kayak trip, bicycle ride to the beach a few times, and lots of pool time too. So convenient to the stores and great restaurants in the area. The house had everything you need for amenities. Amazing 8 day stay of enjoying this tropical private retreat. Gorgeous property inside and outside and would stay again. Don't pass up booking this Marathon property. Hidden Gem.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house and pool were clean and the outdoor area was beautiful. We had a great time fishing off the dock, swimming, kayaking and just relaxing. We would definitely return!!

Wonderful Surprise

This was our 4th stay at Mockingbird Pointe. We walked into a very pleasant surprise. The kitchen has been newly remodeled since our stay in 2024.There has also been updates in the bathrooms and other areas of the house. It looks fantastic. The property is gorgeous as ever. It is meticulously landscaped and very private.We are planning our return.Thank you Phil and Linda for sharing your beautiful home.

Everything we hoped for!!

This home and location was everything we had hoped it would be! Beautiful, comfortable, relaxing. We enjoyed the screened in porch, relaxing with coffee in the mornings and with a cocktail in the evenings. We enjoyed many hours in the and around the pool, and especially watching the many lizards coming out to win themselves poolside. Biking and kayaking were also activities we enjoyed when we were out exploring the area. Highly recommend this home and these hosts!!

This property was so wonderful!! Can't wait to stay here again. So peaceful and quiet (except for the dirt movers across the water). Very comfortable house and so close to many restaurants and activities!!

No False Advertisement!

Staying at the Mockingbird Lane property is truly like staying at your own little private resort. The property is beautifully landscaped and the house and screened porch met our needs perfectly! The Burkarts are gracious and accommodating hosts! Minus the weather (Hurricane Milton) we could not have loved our stay more! We will definitely visit Mockingbird Pointe again!

Amazing property in Marathon

My wife and adult son stayed at Mockingbird Pointe during the second week in August. The property was everything we expected, then some. The initial impression is that the owners take great pride in landscaping, which was meticulously kept with tropical foliage. The pool was amazing and offered great relief from the August humidity. The table and lounge chairs placed in the shallow section was a nice touch! We rented a boat for the week and used the dock and fish cleaning table, which were excellent. The house was in a great location, convenient to Sombrero Beach, Publix, and restaurants. There are plenty of bikes to use, as well as kayaks with a convenient launch right on the property. Inside, the house was clean and had plenty of amenities. We would definitely come back to this piece of paradise!

Great vacation and wonderful property owners

The property was as expected. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. The pool and property is very private and you feel unlike any other rental we have visited in Marathon. Phil was very responsive and welcoming. He helped us quickly get dialed into the fishing and addressed any questions immediately. We really appreciated his help and responsiveness.

Wonderful stay, already re-booked

Mockingbird Pointe is beautiful. The feel overall is very private and lush. The house is beautifully decorated and kept very clean. The pool is fabulous and so relaxing with gorgeous landscaping and views. The wrap around porch is fantastic. There are several (I think I counted 12) bicycles of various sizes for families, 3 kayaks and all the accessories necessary for a fun kayak ride right from the house. Sombrero Beach is beautiful and just a few minutes ride away. The location is perfect to stay centrally located so you can visit all the Keys. Highly recommend taking a charter to the Islamorada Sandbar and spending a few relaxing hours there. The fishing boat trips are also fabulous. Fort Zachary Taylor Beach in Key West was gorgeous, as well as Bahia Honda Key. We all had a fabulous week there, so much so, we already re-booked our next stay!

A little slice of paradise

You'll feel like you are at your very own mini resort. Great location and perfect set up for adults and kids alike. The owners checked on us soon after we arrived. They have thought of everything to make for a perfect stay.

Peaceful stay

We chose this listing as we loved the lush landscape, privacy, and shade this property offered. Additionally, it is tucked back on a culdesac so there’s not much traffic and it offers more parking than your usual house in the area. Although there are no fans on the wraparound porch, it provided a great escape for our little one who is less than a year and a very active crawler. The pool, of course, is roomy enough for the entire family and then some! Overall, we are satisfied with our stay and would recommend to others.

Another Great Stay

This was our 3rd stay at this perfect home. The location is ideal.The property has the most beautiful landscaping that gives it a very secluded feel. We enjoyed the pool everyday and the screened porch at night. We kayaked, took bike rides and just appreciated our surroundings. Phil and Linda are wonderful and caring hosts. perfect getaway, this is keys living

This is a superb Keys rental that feels like your own secluded resort. Owner is kind and super responsive with all communications. The home is as per advertisement, clean, and stocked. We loved the screened porch which we sat out having coffee breakfast and evening drink. All the rooms have opening doors which in the morning was fab to let the keys breeze flow through. The heated pool was a treat, the garden tastefully landscaped and very private. We enjoyed fishing off the dock catching many variations of fish, at night the dock light was cool to watch the fish and wildlife such as manatee pop by. Kitchen well stocked with coffee, sugar, spices, soap etc... Would defiantly return and recommend to anyone.
