The workers at the front desk was amazing super friendly with excellent costumer service! The room was beautiful with the sea view super clean and big! At the restaurant they are not friendly at all, my daughter didn’t like her pasta and complained and the got mad saying that the chef knows what he’s doing and they didn’t offered nothing else! The next day none of the waiters want to get near as neither to take our order I have to call the manager from the restaurant in order to place our order, the manager personally take our order. We stayed for a couple days and always give a gratuity to the waiters. Maybe they got offended with the gratuity we don’t know if we supposed to give them or not !

Ottima struttura, ben organizzata con posti auto assegnati e un ottima vista. Poco distante dal mare, è possibile raggiungere a piedi la spiaggia libera ma nel caso ci si volesse spostare nei dintorni si ha la necessità di un auto. La struttura offre a tutti gli ospiti una zona con una piscina all'aperto e sdraio, l'unica pecca è che la piscina è davvero piccola.

Tolle Lage
Tolle Lage und Super Ausblick. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Dusche im Bad ist leider viel zu klein und etwas seltsam in der Anmutung. Für den Sommer gibt es aber eine Außendusche.

Ottimo residence, appartamenti moderni e puliti, molti con giardino, bella la vista dal ristorante e dalla piscina che domina la baia di Mattinata. Personale ottimo. Unico appunto: il wi-fi funziona solo (così così) nel corpo centrale e negli spazi comuni, non negli appartamenti. Se la sera avete in mente di rilassarvi guardando qualcosa in streaming, meglio fare altri programmi. Anche la linea telefonica non riceve bene, almeno nel nostro appartamento, magari in altri in appartamenti in posizioni diverse funziona.

The views from this beautiful property is amazing. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. Now, the furniture in the rooms are poor in quality and very old. The mattresses are spring boards from the 70s. Very uncomfortable. The sofa bed was damaged and dirty. To summarize, The hotel staff are highly professionals and very cheerful. The grounds are equal to a 4-5star hotel. They just urgently need to update the interior of the rooms. Also, the pool is beautiful, but they used a material where scraping your skin is very easy and also your bathing will get damaged if you rub against the walls.

Séjour très agréable, hostel très bien situé. Cadre très agréable, restaurant….. Seul bémol: un séjour de 5 jours dans un appartement avec kitchenette, réservation pour 3 personnes : 2 assiettes, 2 verres, ni sel si poivre , pas de petit kit vaisselle, nous avons tout acheté et donc tout laisse sur place. De plus la photo de profil de l’hôtel est une plage avec transat, on nous a proposé chaque jour des tickets pour une plage privée à 1 km sans nous Préciser que c’était payant. Et facturé 65€ à la fin du séjour. La majorité des plages sont payantes en Italie donc pas de soucis pour régler, nous aurions juste aimé être prévenu. Mais dans l’ensemble je recommande vivement cet hôtel que est un très bel établissement.

L'hotel residence Il Porto è una struttura incantevole, curata in ogni dettaglio. Il personale è attento alle esigenze del cliente e il soggiorno è stato meraviglioso. Molto buona la colazione, così come la cena, a base di pesce freschissimo. Più che consigliato.

This property is located high above the Adriatic Sea providing gorgeous distant vistas. The restaurant can be enjoyed inside or outside. All of the staff were very pleasant and professional.

This is a great facility with good access to Gargano National Park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent both in taste and value.

Larger complex than I assumed, we were checked in to an apartment instead of the booked hotel room, in which I felt a bit cut off. It was a great setting, with lovely views. A stylish pool and close proximity to the beach. It was quite as late in their season, but all staff we encountered were charming and polite.

Beautiful views and good food
Nice check in. We got an upgrade. This was a surprise because we paid almost 200 euro's a night. A lot of money but for the cheapest room. . Still staff helpful in lobby (on the companies wifi). After all a nice experience. We had two very nice dinners in the hotel. Great with a wunderful view. The staff was great.

First time in Matinatta
Lovely hotel with wonderful grounds and a stunning view. We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed the local area. The hotel is well equipped and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. The only let down was the Wifi. Great in Reception, but average elsewhere.

Empfehlenswert!
Frühstück sehr lecker auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die Bucht, traumhafte Lage mit tollem Ausblick, genügend Parkplätze -kostenlos-, freundlicher Service, wunderschöner Pool allerdings eher zum planschen geeignet. Zu Fuß sind es etwa 10-15min zum Strand am Meer.

Very calm and excellent restaurant
My wife and I stayed two nights in the hotel mid October. We loved the calm, the view, the restaurant and the space. We will be back, potentially for up to one week to enjoy the pool and the quiet resort from which to discover the area.

Breathtaking view in the Gargano!
Il Porto is situated above the sea with a gorgeous panoramic view that can't be beat! The room was simple but comfortable. We were too tired to find a restaurant in town for dinner our first evening so ate in the hotel restaurant and it was incredible - I really wasn't expecting that. My experience has been that hotel restaurants are generally pretty average. This was very different! The food was prepared well, the service rivaled that of any top restaurants anywhere, and the dessert was the best I've had in Italy (which is saying a lot!) Also, Vanessa at the front desk was charming and very helpful in recommending places to eat in town and hikes in the Gargano. Highly recommend Il Porto!
