Great location
Great place to stay! Owner’s were very responsive and nice. It was really close to all the activities but you still could enjoy a nice quiet evening fire.

Perfect!
This is our favorite place to stay in Silverlake. It works very well for our family, love the log cabin feel! Having a garage to keep our machines and things in while staying is a huge bonus! Guy is great to work with, looking forward to many more stays in coming years!

Nice place. Felt like you really were on vacation. Quiet neighborhood, didn’t have to worry about disturbing others. Close to attractions. Even seen some wildlife.

The house was just as described, kids loved it, close to everything you would want to do.
The house was in a perfect location. Took us about 5 minutes to drive to the dunes. Took about 5 minutes to get into town. While at the cabin, we had peace, quiet and plenty of privacy. The cabin was very well kept and decorated. The deck was a great place to view local wildlife. All in all, I don't think you could find a better place to go if you are a regular vacationer into Silver lake. I don't think my family has ever had a better vacation than we did there.

Dune vaction
There was no paper or list of house rules or amenities, and there was no wifi ( Internet). We had no way to contact owner, because we did not have service with our carrier (not the owners fault) but we had to drive 6 miles just to have service or our own Wifi. there was no garage door openers for the garage. Beautiful property and great location but not what was listed. We had brought our grandchildren with us and we are not from the area so we could not look any thing up on the internet to plan our day. Also bring water with you to drink and cook with. it was hard water left a bad taste in your mouth and made your food taste funny.

House rules are in the contract. There has NEVER been claim for WiFi or internet. Read the listing for that information. The garage doors are controlled from the push-buttons by the passage door. Most guests really appreciate the use of the garage. I lose keys every month, there is no way guests are going to get a garage door controller. All the major wireless carriers have service in the area, I use Verizon and get 4 bars inside the log home. Sorry about the water, we are running a softener and it is still hard. Attractions are all within walking distance. See the notebook in the side table drawer for lists of recommended places to dine and go for entertainment. I hope your next trip is more enjoyable.

Cute, clean place. Great location!
The cabin was wonderful! Just as advertised, clean and well stocked. They even supplied paper products and soap. The location is perfect. We had 5 adults and would have had plenty of room for a couple more. I did not rate communication with the owner because I did not have wifi or service anywhere. I did meet him in person once. He was nice and I'm sure he would be very accommodating. The only reason I gave an overall 4 stars is because the beds were very firm and we did not find them comfortable. We really enjoyed everything else about this place though! If you like an extremely firm bed it is a definite 5! Thanks for a fun family weekend and some great memories!

The intent of not having internet not TV was to disconnect. The description never said that either was available.

Bronco take over weekend
When we arrived the cabin was super cute! We knew there was no wifi, but saw there was one tv upstairs, didn’t-realize it was only good for dvds. No dvds there, so we went to dollar general to buy some because we do have 2 teenage girls who likes to relax with a movie. We didn’t think no wifi or tv downstairs would be an inconvenience but it was, we like coffee with the news, and with no wifi for the phones made it hard to get the news. Also the grill could use cleaning as it was very dirty. But the cabin itself was great and the location was perfect for us to get to the dunes with the bronco, or getting ice cream! Lovely place! Just feel it needs a few updates to make it the perfect getaway for families! And the puzzles were all fun for the family to do! Thank you for letting us stay!

No WiFi is clearly stated in the description. As for updates the back porch was just resurfaced this past winter while the front porch was rebuilt 2 winters ago. Ceiling fans and furniture has been replaced as renters beat it up. The deteriorating external logs were also replaced this past winter. Linens are updated on annual basis. Towels are scheduled for this winter. Flooring is also on the schedule. As for the grill, cleaning brushes are supplied.

Neat Log Cabin and Great Location
Within walking distance of silver lake. Close enough to not have to air down when leveling the dunes. Oversized garage included! Quiet wooded area, very peaceful.

Great place to stay
Our favorite place to stay while at Silver lake. Love having the garage to keep our machines in at night and to have a place to work on them if needed. Cabin is clean and comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay
The property is in a nice location right by Silver Lake and the dunes. My friends and I had a great time going to nearby towns and hiking at the dunes. Only problem we had was having no service with T-mobile, but we were able to connect to wifi at a nearby bar.

Amazing Experience
Four of my friends and myself stayed for an extended weekend and it was an amazing experience. The cabin is amazing inside and out and the seclusion to be able to star gaze is even better! The cabin was extremely clean and put together. The kitchen is a good size with the ability to cook meals for a large group. Games were provided for entertainment which brought everyone closer together. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Peaceful Area-So nice!!
The house was in the best area! We usually stay at a hotel when we come up and we wanted to change it up and Guys house did not disappoint! So spacious, and so beautiful! The fire pit was so great as well! Highly recommend this house and I will be back in the future!

Loved the log and the area.
The property was great everything was great except that the shower was not clean. And the curtain was very old and dirty. Found couple of old food from old gests.but other then that everything was great.

Everything we needed and more!!
My husband and I needed a get away from the city and our stay at the Log House was everything we needed and more!! The property is so beautiful, very clean and the location is so convenient. We loved taking long walks in the mornings around the neighborhood and Silver Lake. Everyone around town was always so friendly. I reached out to the owner after check out and let him know we will definitely be booking again soon.

Daughter’s Dream
We made our 8 year old daughter’s dreams come true by renting out this fabulous log home for the weekend. The accommodations were lovely, just as described. We definitely want to come back in the summer and head to the dunes!

A long weekend away to bow hunt oceana county.
Hunter creek cabin was a beautiful cabin. The location was perfect for our needs. A group of 3 of us get together once a yr to catch up and enjoy some peace and quiet in the woods. We cooked on the grill played cards and got plenty of time in the woods . We were unsuccessful 8n tagging any deer but we got to share some laughs and make memories! The owner communicated great. Highly recommend this cabin!

Beautiful home
Beautiful property, affordable priced and stocked better than other places I’ve stayed. Owner was great with good communication. Would stay again. Only thing I would have preferred is internet/WiFi. I work a lot so part of my relaxing is getting to watch TV and play on computer. Plus gives some entertainment on raining , cold days.

Perfect Fall getaway.
The property reminded us of a tranquil Norman Rockwell painting. The cabin was as advertised and we had access to all of best local eateries and open markets. Hiking, lake views and scenic drives were all in abundance.

Relaxing Stay
Beautiful cabin, very relaxing scenery, great front yard firepit and room to toss some bags. Very close to the dunes. The loft was perfect for the kids and teens while the adults enjoyed the back deck. Guy had great communication. We would definitely rent this cabin again on our next trip to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes.

Wonderful Long Weekend
Guy & Rhonda's cabin was wonderful. While the cabin itself was great, the space out back that adjoins a creek, made it even better. After hikes on the dunes and bike rides around the area, taking breaks from out back with a host of animal visitors were refreshing and recharging. Deer, heron and muskrat all stopped by on several occasions. The location of the cabin is fantastic, close to the town center, but far enough away to be peaceful. The dunes and beaches were close enough to bike to as is the town center. Our only regret was just staying 3 nights!

A great getaway!
This cozy log cabin is in the perfect location. Close to the fun of the dunes and beach, but also far enough away that you can enjoy some peace and quiet. The cabin is clean, and Guy is extremely responsive. The area is absolutely beautiful! We had a wonderful time!

Great stay
We visit Silver Lake to enjoy the ORV Park. The house was conveniently close to the entrance as well as the center of town. The house slept all 6 of us nicely, and having access to the garage was a huge plus for us to house our dune buggies, swap tires, etc. Guy met us when we arrived and gave us a short tour of the house. Very nice.

Awesome experience
This was our second stay at the cabin and I think this one was better than the first. Guy and Rhonda are absolutely the best in town. I would highly recommend staying at this property as there is no detail left out. They are great hosts and go above the call to provide a wonderful family experience.
