Checked in (via coded lock), however the place has not been attended to since the last guests, so the beds were unmade, dirty towels in the floor and rubbish in the kitchen.
Eventually got into the owner through messages who tried to book a cleaner and when unsuccessful tried to have Stayz find us somewhere else. Unfortunately Stayz were useless and didn't want to know about it.
We ended up getting a refund and booked somewhere through an alternative provider which turned out to be nicer.
Overall, I'm sure it was not intentional by the property owner and there's a good chance we would have enjoyed the property, had we been able to stay there.
