Good hotel in a convenient location. Nice quiet rooms. I went to the brasserie for breakfast but nobody around. Waited for 5 mins and then gave up and went out for breakfast.

Great service
From check in to check out the service was seamless. We really enjoyed using the indoor pool and jet bath on a wet day. Our room was super quiet, didn’t hear any noise outside our room. Only downside was the water pressure from the shower.. it was like a weak watering can - super disappointed with that.

Every staff member we met was lovely, we arrived late after our wedding and were greeted with a card, chocolates and sparkling to celebrate. The breakfast was great. We spent the day swimming in the pool and wandering around South Yarra, shopping and eating out. Our room was large and quiet.

Wonderfully large room and bathroom with separate tub. Biggest room I have ever stayed in. Room service food was better than most I have experienced elsewhere.

We were upgraded to a Gold Suite due to room occupancy levels. Whilst some people would absolutely adore the facilities that we were upgraded to, it was too much for us, two levels with stairs that were extremely precarious, a lounge area that was more style than substance. A piano!! but overall, the hotel is very good, the staff friendly and efficient and we would have no qualms in staying again.

the property did not look like the photos on the Expedia website. The hotel is old, weathered and needs a very detailed refurbishment and refresh. The bathroom / showers were original, the carpet was old. Only one lift was in use which was incovenient. The in dining was limited.

Great hotel with larger rooms than the most. Staff very attentive and helpful. Location can’t be beaten right in chapel street close to chapel st shopping and only a station or two away from the city by train from south Yarra station. Room facilities need a little upgrading in terms of the electrical , data outlets and general positioning of power outlets. Potentially an upgrade of the tvs also needed to give access to HD for all channels. Great indoor/outdoor pool on rooftop Gym could use a squat rack but that’s being picky!

The cleanliness of the room was dusty all over. The top of the mirror, the back of the TV, the skirting boards. When we moved rooms the hotel staff said the cleaners double checked the room. This did not appear to be the case. It took a long while for staff to communicate room changes.
