Le bonheur c’est tout
Superbe maison ancienne avec tout pour passer un super séjour de repos et de loisirs. Hameau baigné de lumière et de calme, proche d’un village où tout est vraiment sympa. L’hôte est adorable et attentionnée. N’hésitez pas,y a tout!

Exceptionnel
La Bastide est magnifique ! Décorée avec goût. On s'y sent vraiment bien. Elle est située en pleine campane au calme mais on peut quand même aller au bourg à pied (40 min avec des enfants qui font des pauses :-)) La propriétaire est très sympathique et discrète. La piscine est nettoyée régulièrement. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Urlaub
Wir haben 9 Tage in den Pfingstferien dort genossen. Das Haus ist sehr urig, aber mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Aussenanlage ist toll. Wir waren mit unseren zwei Teanager-Kindern und unserem Hund dort. Wir haben sowohl den Pool als auch das Nordic Bath sehr gerne benutzt. Fast jeden Tag. Des Weiteren haben wir auch jeden Tag Tischtennis gespielt. Es war sehr schön. Die Vermieterin Valerie ist sehr nett. Sie hat uns beim ersten Mal das Nordic Bath heiss gemacht. In den folgenden Tagen haben wir es selber aufgeheizt. Sie hat es uns aber gezeigt und erklärt, wie es geht. Desweiteren hat sie uns jederzeit ihre Hilfe angeboten. Außerdem hat sie uns mit Informationen versorgt, was in der Umgebung so passiert, z.B. der Markt in Montcouq Sonntags. Es war insgesamt sehr schön und entspannend.

Relaxed stay in spacious country house
We had an amazing stay in this country house. The location was amazing, we did a lot of hikes and villages visits. Valerie was very nice hostess, she had provided us with good activity tips which were very helpful: like Sunday market at Motcuq and nice hikes around the house. Kids had a lot of fun playing and sunbathing in the garden. There was pingpong table, badminton rackets and yoga mats. Also Scandinavian bath was very nice to take in the evenings - very special experience!

Great stay!!
This was the most interesting and beautiful house we have ever stayed in. Original stone walls and stone floors, yet the plumbing and electrical all updated. Amazing backyard with pool, 3 sitting areas, and BarBQ. Surrounded by trees and countryside but only a short 5 minute drive to Montcuq. Our host, Valerie, went above and beyond to make our stay great. This place was worth every penny.

Great Holiday
Lovely property in a little hamlet close to Montcuq, a beautiful little town with a few restaurants and a great wine shop! Some great mountain bike and hiking routes close by. The owner, Valérie, was most helpful throughout our 3 week stay and communication with her was excellent. Highly recommended.

Calm & Relaxing
A really lovely property - ideally suited for couples or a small/young family. Valérie is a very diligent and helpful host: available if needed but otherwise happy to leave guests free to enjoy themselves. The temperature was hot (over 35C the whole week) but we managed to explore the local area on foot and visit Cahors by car. The large pool was understandably very welcome but the outdoor space in general is perfect for al fresco dining. Montcuq (around 25 minutes walk away) is a nice village with cafés and a helpful Information Centre. One tip: the local supermarket is quite basic so best to shop in a larger town for more choice. Great holiday - thanks!

Top !!!
Perfekter Ort zur erholung von Körper und Seele. Das Objekt hat unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt. Selbst bei hohen Außentemparaturen bleibt das Haus angenehm kühl. Der nächste Ort ist in 30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Gastgeberin war zu jeder Zeit erreichbar und stets hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen !!!

Lovely House in quiet Hamlet
We loved the quietnes and that we could walk to Montque, a nice Village with a great market on Sundays. the pool was even bigger then we thought and compleatly private. The house is good for 4 people, we did not use the attic, the cealing there is quite low, great for kids though.

Prachtig huisje op uiterst rustige ligging
Wij waren iets te vroeg in Montcuq aangekomen, waar we een terrasje aan het doen waren. Op het afgesproken uur belde Valérie ons, waarop ze ons kwam ophalen zodat we haar met de wagen konden volgen. Eenmaal aan het huisje kregen we een korte rondleiding, waarin opviel hoe proper het huisje was. Alles was aanwezig: lakens, handdoeken, keukengerei,.... Alles om de vakantie rustig zonder zorgen aan te vatten....En het was een mooi verblijf. Het enige wat ons is tegengevallen was het weer, waardoor we niet tenvolle hebben kunnen genieten van het zwembad. Maar daar kan helaas niemand iets aan doen. Heel mooi huisje voor een prachtige vakantie!

Super aangenaam en mooi verlof
Wij waren met 6 volwassenen. De gastvrouw is heel behulpzaam. Zij heeft alles mooi onderhouden, en op aanvraag kan je zelfs joga volgen. Er is voldoende privé parkeerplaats en de Hot Tub is een must als het s'avonds iets kouder is. Ook de hele streek is zowel qua bezienswaardigheden als gastronomisch een topper. Wij kunnen dit absoluut aanbevelen!

Mooi huis in een prachtige omgeving
Wij hebben met ons hele gezin en kleinkind een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Het huis is heerlijk koel en voorzien van alle comfort. De buitenruimte maakte het helemaal compleet met een zwembad en overkapping waar je lekker kon zitten in de loungebank. En de tafeltennistafel is door ons ook heel veel gebruikt. Valerie is heel vriendelijk en staat als je haar belt gelijk voor je klaar! Wij hebben genoten Fam Klok

Nos vacances à Montcuq
Après deux semaines dans la belle propriété de Valérie Sabatier, nous sommes rentrés chez nous le cœur lourd. Le jour de notre arrivée, Mme. Sabatier nous a accueillis chaleureusement et nous a expliqué tout ce qui était nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. La maison, d’où l’on peut entreprendre directement de vaste migration, a été construite au 17ème siècle et à conservé le charme de ce siècle jusqu’à nos jours. L’ameublement est fonctionnel et très soigné, la cuisine est très équipée de tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour les jours où vous décidez de manger vous-même. La terrasse avec parterre intégrés, la piscine chauffée avec Pool-House, salon et barbecue ne laisse rien à désirer. Bref, La Bastide de Couvenins est une destination de vacances idéale. Nous sommes heureux de décerner à l’immeuble ainsi qu’à sa propriétaire Valérie Sabatier (seulement) 5 étoiles - les deux auraient mérité une sixième étoile. Nach zwei Wochen Urlaub in dem herrlichen Anwesen von Valérie Sabatier mussten wir schweren Herzens wieder nach Hause fahren. Am Tag unserer Ankunft hat uns Mme. Sabatier herzlich begrüßt und alle Dinge für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt erklärt. Das Haus, von dem man direkt zu ausgiebigen Wanderungen starten kann, wurde bereits 17. Jahrhundert gebaut und hat den Charme dieser Zeit bis in die Gegenwart erhalten. Die Einrichtung ist funktional und sehr gepflegt, die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man an solchen Tagen benötigt, an denen man sich selbst versorgen möchte. Die Terrassenanlage mit integrierten Pflanzbeeten, beheiztem Pool und Poolhaus mit Barbecue und komfortabler Lounge lässt keine Wünsche offen. Kurzum - die Bastide de Couvenins ist ein perfekter Platz für einen entspannten Urlaub. Wir vergeben für das Objekt wie für seine Besitzerin sehr gerne (nur) 5 Sterne -wenngleich beide durchaus einen sechsten verdient hätten.

Tranquil Hamlet
This property lies just outside of Montcuq in a peaceful rural Hamlet. From my first enquiry Valerie was prompt with her response and was there to meet us on arrival. After presenting the property she made it clear that she was only a phone call away to help in any way, which was most reassuring. The property itself was perfect in every way. The pool area was particularly good, especially the hot tub which was good to relax in during the evening. The house itself was well appointed including the kitchen with everything necessary for an enjoyable holiday. Although we spent most of our time relaxing around the pool, the villages we visited in the surrounding area were very picturesque with the typical bars and cafes & restaurants that you'd expect from a French village We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again at some point in the future. Lovely Holiday
Just left this property and had an amazing week . The property has so much charm and the swimming pool area is fantastic. The owner Valérie is very helpful and made sure we were having a nice time . We used the Nordic bath which was amazing. The house is situated within glorious country side but you have everything on your door step , would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful house in the countryside
The house is beautiful and full of character. Set in lovely countryside but close to a picturesque town with all the amenities you could need including a fabulous market. The highlight for us was the outside space - by far the best of any of the houses we have rented over the years! Valerie is a perfect host. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Ancienne bastide au calme
Accueil de la propriétaire parfait, le calme absolu dans une bastide retirée du centre du village, belle piscine non chauffée, mais très apprécié par les fortes chaleurs , diffusion de la wifi difficile à cause des murs épais de la maison et la connexion quasi nulle avec le site opérateurs téléphoniques . Concernant les opérateurs téléphoniques, dans tout le Quercy (sud du Lot) la couverture n'est pas aussi efficace qu'à Paris mais à La Bastide les réseaux passent suffisament bien pour recevoir et émettre tout appel (il faut quelque fois se déplacer un peu pr revevoir si vous n avez pas Orange). Concernant le Wifi la connection est très rapide et efficace dans le salon et la cuisine mais il est vrai que dans les chambres du bas, les murs épais peuvent ralentir le flux.

Idyllic Retreat
Our family enjoyed a relaxing week in the Bastide de Couvinens. The house is not only full of charm and character but also fully equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. We were 6 adults and 1 small child and ate in most days enjoying outdoor dining by the pool at lunchtime. The house is 2km from Montcuq and we frequently walked on the quiet country roads to the village. We particularly enjoyed the Sunday market and I even found a lake to swim in 1km from Montcuq! Valerie was a perfect host, sent us lots of information before our stay, arranged a cot and high chair for our son and even met us late in the evening when we arrived. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the French countryside.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille. Nous avons beaucoup profité de cette belle maison, très agréable, dans un très beau cadre et au calme. Nous avons pu alterner détente et visites de cette belle région. La propriétaire est très accueillante, comme la plupart des gens de la région d'ailleurs.

Privates wohnliches Ambiente
In diesem Haus fühlt man sich direkt daheim. Die Einrichtung ist wohnlich und nicht praktisch steril. Die Vermieterin Valerie kümmert sich persönlich um die Anlage und ist sofort da, wenn etwas nicht funktioniert oder fehlt. Das Grundstück ist geschlossen und von aussen kaum einsehbar. Der pfiffige mitgebrachte Hund wird irgendwann das Loch im Zaun finden, aber erst mal ist die Anlage zu und man muss den evtl. mitgebrachten Hund nicht immer anleinen. Man ist direkt vom Haus in der Natur und kann "Gassi" gehen. Im Übrigen natürlich sowieso ideal für Wanderungen und Spaziergänge, die direkt am Haus beginnen, man kann kleine Rundwanderungen machen (1/1,5 Std) oder auch den Jakobsweg (führt ca. 1km entfernt am Haus vorbei) ein Stück weit laufen.

Un séjour remarquable.
Un accueil chaleureux par une propriétaire disponible, sympathique et délicate. La maison, décorée avec goût, associe le charme de l'ancien et le confort du moderne. De belles dépendances, une piscine et un grand près pour nos deux chiens contribuent à la quiétude du lieu. Un hameau de qualité et un voisinage plein de bienveillance. Et puis le Lot et ses paysage, Montcuq et son ambiance le jour de marché. Merci Valérie!

Charming renovation of a lovely property
A wonderful holiday in a gorgeous property . The property is close to a lovely village (but far enough away to be very peaceful) with all of the amenities and a weekly market. Great size pool that the kids really loved. The renovation of this property is excellent, retaining many of the properties original features with the addition of all the modern touches required. The property was immaculate on arrival, the owner Valerie was exceptionally helpful and only 2 km away if ever needed. We will definitely re-visit in the future.
