The hotel itself is nice enough, but waaay overpriced. Luxury price without the luxury. There's no beach to speak of (yes, there is some sand near the water, but it's tiny and all the view is blocked by the owb). Breakfast buffet is average, always running out of stuff. Dinner buffet was average too, little choice, the dishes were never refilled, shrimp and oysters disappeared in a second. We felt rushed to leave. Also during show night you can't really get food while the dancers are there because they dance right in front of the buffet table. As for the overwater bungalows, it's worth booking premium in order to have a proper overwater experience (you can jump into the ocean from the deck). The owb rooms are pleasant enough, spacious and nicely decorated (both standard and premium, in fact i think the bungalows themselves are identical, the only difference is the location). Cons: the roof doesn't fully cover the terrace, so you can't really use the lounge chairs, if it's sunny it's too hot and if it's rainy you get wet. Also we had a bathtub instead of shower, very uncomfortable and doesn't make much sense (who takes a hot bath in 30°C weather?) On the plus side, there are free SUP boards, kayaks and snorkel, the guys that work at the pool shack are very friendly and helpful and speak many languages. The hotel is regenerating coral under the ow bungalows which is full of fish. And we were very happy with late check out, it was easily available for a reasonable price.

We are very pleased to read that the bungalow and the friendliness of our Team Members contributed to make your stay an enjoyable one. Delighted to read that you thoroughly enjoyed your Premium Overwater bungalow. We are pleased to inform you that as from next year we will start renovating all our bungalows and that the showers will be fitted in all bathroon. Our Chef has been informed to monitor closely the refilling process of the buffet in order to avoid any items running out, however the restaurant being non airconditionned we prefer refilling more often the buffet than leaving items standing outside for long time. Also regarding the Polynesian show we sometimes have to make them performed inside the restaurant when it is raining hence reducing the space which may have been the case on this occasion. Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience and we hope to have the pleasure in welcoming you back, should you be visiting French Polynesia in the future. La habitación con piscina privada fue la mejor elección para nuestra luna de miel. Tranquilidad y privacidad para descansar. El hotel es muy bueno, pero la falta de detalles hacía los huéspedes hace que no sea merecedor del paraíso que le rodea. Una lástima...

Un Buen Lugar,La piscina deberia ser temperada.
Un Buen Lugar, solo que el agua de la piscina es muy fria, deberia ser temperada, ya que no tienen playa.

Decir que no tenemos una playa es algo distorsionado porque tenemos una, ciertamente no muy grande pero existente. Esperamos que al final guarde un buen recuerdo de su estancia en Moorea y en nuestro hotel. Muchas gracias !

Hotel muy bueno, el lugar fantástico, el unico problema que habia huelga en el aeropuerto y perdí 1 dia y el hotel no nos reembolso ni nos dejo un dia mas como me habia dicho la aerolínea.

Tout d'abord nous voulons vous remercier d'avoir pris le temps de mettre un commentaire, en ce qui concerne la grève de l'aéroport nous sommes désolé que cette expérience laisse un mauvais souvenir mais nous ne sommes en tort, vous avez des assurances voyage, rapproché vous de vos assurances ou déposé une plainte directement à l'aéroport mais je constate comme même que notre hôtel vous a plu donc cela nous fait vraiment plaisir. Nos gustó aunque nos toco mal tiempo y la playa estaba sucia, el wifi no funcionaba en las piezas y lo encontré chico comparado con el intercontinental

Tenemos Wi-Fi gratuita en todo el hotel , pero funciona mejor en la recepción y en el bar . Parece que los tejados de los bungalows a veces interfieren en las habitaciones . Nos esforzamos para encontrar una solución a este problema. Es cierto que nuestra playa no es enorme, pero que no está sucia . A veces , dependiendo del viento y las corrientes que llegan algas . Muchas gracias por los commentarios y esperamos que tengan un lindo recuerdo de Moorea.

Hermoso hotel sobre la playa
Experiencia fascinante en una cabaña sobre el mar con piso de vidrio. Inolvidable. La ubicación del hotel es excelente, como así también el trato del personal. Los bungalows son muy confortables y poseen unas vistas inolvidables.

No hay wi fi libre, es pago. No hay buena atención en el front desk. Pocos materiales para deporte acuatico. algunos bungalows que se venden como sobre la playa tienen un frente a los overwaters que los dejan sin vista... buen desayuno.

El hotwl esta medio-viejo, el servicio esta pesimo en calidad y aparte les falta personal. La calidad de la comida es muy baja...ni hablar el desayuno que cuesta 40usd para muy muy baja calidad.

Todo lo que se espera de un hotel de esta categoría. La atención es excelente y las habitaciones también. Las cabañas sobre el agua son mejores si dan hacia el océano para poder observar las ballenas del otro lado de la barrera de coral.

perfectas vacaciones, el hotel es como "boutique" lo que hace que todo sea mas personalizado, la gente encantadora, nos dieron un upgrade a una pieza overwater que realmente son increibles. esta muy bien ubicado, cerca del aeropuerto,ferry y tiendas.

agradable estadía
nos recibieron con bebida helada y piña a la habitacion, que por cierto estaba impecable. nos quedamos una noche en las casitas que miraban hacia el mar, que son totalmente recomendables. y la 2da noche en l casita mirando hacia la playa, que no se si vale tanto la pena, ya que ahí no te pudes bañar. pero igual de comoda por dentro. un sin fin de peces!! bellos! si bien el hotel es lindo y comodo, no creo que volveríamos.

Muy buena Experiencia!! Hotel Tranquilo
Estuvimo tres noches, la habitación es muy grande, luminosa ,confortable y cálida. El servicio del hotel es exelente. Los jardines están muy bien cuidados, la piscina se confunde con el mar. Las playas son un poco chicas. Hermosos los atardeceres! Comimos en el restuarante muy bueno. El Hotel esta cerca de un pequeño centro de tiendas y snaks. Pasamos una extancia exelente.

Our stay was amazing - the property is beautiful, staff is extremely friendly and helpful although sometimes their English is a bit challenging but manageable at the end. Everything was great, the only thing that can improve is probably the restaurant menu / there may need to be different dining options added, as the menu remains the same and after a few days it just gets boring when you have tried all the different options.

The snorkeling was great. But hotel areas and room was average. Our first night there thy did not explain that we had two options for dinner. They told us there was only the buffet option which cost me 150.00 for two people and the food was not good. The only area that was air conditioned was our room. It was very hot and humid during our stay would have been nice to be able to go somewhere air conditioned besides our room. They offered breakfast at the hotel but you had to sign up for your whole stay or you couldn't eat there and it was expensive. I felt that options at the horel were rigid and the staff did not explain everything and were not flexible at all.

We had an over the water bungalow that was nice. Took a while to get the AC adjustments right, but it worked well. (We were at another over the water bungalow on another island, and the AC was underpowered.) This resort was within walking distance from a shopping district , grocery store, and even a laundromat. Other resorts were much further from shopping options, so we lucked out selecting this one.

The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the entire resort, the bungalows, restaurant, pool are all immaculate and clean! The swimming pool is beautiful, with an amazing view. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Dolphins visited every morning while we sat on the balcony of our premium over water bungalow looking over the ocean. The entire staff, all of the employees at the Manava Beach Resort truly went out of their way to make our stay extra special, they were professional and kind! We stayed here 34 years ago when it was the Bali Hi and we are so happy we returned! We would highly recommend this resort and would not stay anywhere else on Moorea! Snorkeling package with pickup next to resort. Swim with eagle rays, blacktip sharks and many tropical fish. We even saw a green turtle. Highlight was a barbeque lunch prepared on the boat and served on a table just off the beach. Lots of fish swimming around our legs while we enjoyed grilled fish, chicken and poke. The best!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was exceptional! The staff really made our stay feel super special. They were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and went above and beyond for our visit. We stayed in an overwater bungalow and were able to see sea turtles, sting rays, and so many fish right from our room. We could also rent kayaks for free and explore the lagoon. The hotel’s location is also convenient. It’s close to Cook’s Bay and the beautiful Tema’e Beach. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to come to Moorea.

Loved this property and it met all my expectations. We were greeted with a welcome drink and a tour of the property. Our bungalow was amazing and loved watching the gold fish swim by in our floor window!!!

We had a very lovely stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The property was beautiful and had great snorkeling.
