The bed was very comfortable. It had a lot of that beach town hotel character...reminded me of when I was younger and would go to the beach for a weekend...

There was not much to like about this property. There was blood smeared across the door. When we went to the front desk to ask to switch to a different room the clerk was no where to be found. Decided to wait 15 mins no clerk. Came back to front desk three times Still no clerk. This place looks decent from the online pictures but is terribly disgusting once you’re inside the rooms. I would ask for a refund but it looks like the hotel needs every dollar so they can hire better staff and pick up some better cleaning supplies

PROS: clean room, good area, staff was nice and easy to talk to, easy to access my room (disabled vet),the front desk lady was so sweet and her daughter was too. CONS: the phone had no cord so I couldn't call out or the front desk, a slight smell in the room (I kept the air flow by having the door open for a bit), the toilet was too low (almost fell in when I tried to sit down on the first night. Overall good experience with this hotel.

Wasn’t allowed to check in with my passport because it didn’t fit into the id scanner in the front desk. Receptionist said she couldn’t access the system with my US passport.

There were roach larva and eggs in my bed and when told to front desk it was a simple ok ill let housekeeping know..... not im sorry kiss my ass nothing. This place is so nasty

It smelled old and musky not very clean, mirrors had not bcleaned properly. Sheets wouldn't stay on the mattress not enough wash cloths, and the toilet leaked

Affordable pricing and very clean and pleasant rooms on the inside. Very comfortable beds and great location. Somewhat noisy due to other guests drinking and talking outside in the parking lot until midnight but otherwise a good stay.

This is an older establishment, and the furnishings show it. The room is clean. The sheets were definitely past their time to be replaced. The staff is doing an excellent job. The room the property were nicely kept. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly Staff, Not so Great Hotel
The staff was very friendly. We had to change rooms because the pipe under the sink was not connected and the floor flooded when we turned it on. The lady at the front desk switched our room without us even asking and was nice enough to give us a room close by. The hotel itself is a bit run down. It looks like they are remodeling as there is furniture all outside the building. The rooms could be a little cleaner. The bed appeared clean, but everything else was pretty dirty (like the floors and windows). The area is a little scetchy as well.

Garnett is doing a remodel so there was some stuff on the second floor. Doesn't look pretty but where do you put stuff while doing a remodel, so no big deal. Small stuff like the shampoo dispenser empty and no hand soap at sink body wash only. Again small issue.

We thought the room was clean and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Staff friendly. Motel located on main road which made it convenient for the places we wanted to go in Morehead City.

The internet pictures are very misleading. I put into google hotels in Atlantic Beach nc This was a motel different is outside entrance very dangerous for female to be entering or exiting this type of entrance. Was unable to cancel the reservation. Will not use Travelocity again due to misrepresentation of hotels that they are connected with.

Property is an old motel, with a new paint job. It is more suited to construction workers doing local jobs in the city which, is posted on the door for weekly or monthly rates. I ended up staying at another facility.

This property was disgusting. I actually want a total refund. There were what seemed to be boogers on the walls, filthy sheets, filthy floors, filthy toilets. The rooms both stunk like mildew. Unfit to be slept in. I had to switch rooms it was so bad. I want a TOTAL REFUND on my card. Call me if need be.

It was OK
We managed, but won’t stay here again. The most uncomfortable thing was the musty smell from the air conditioner. It could not be ignored and I hoped we wouldn’t get sick. The beds were comfortable, but there were stains on the bed covers. It had obvious updates, but still showed it’s age.

I left about 5 hours after I arrived. Mold in the bathroom, took several hours to get a toilet unclogged and fixed. “Boss” came out to fix it and a lamp issue we had about 4 hours into our stay. Phones don’t work because they got new lines and phones aren’t compatible. Front desk can also not hear all the noise from outside at all hours of the night. Kids running around and people loud in the parking lot. Staff was very friendly but I will not stay there again. Time to invest in your hotel so it’s worth it’s price tag.
