Huge disappointment
Booked in June 2023 for the April solar eclipse. Received welcome emails and texts with entrance code and instructions two days prior to the trip. Then the next evening I get a terse email stating property has been sold and rental is canceled. I thought it was phishing. It wasn’t! What a scam! If I cancel 24 hours ahead I still have to pay but they can screw you with no recompense. Lack of ethics. Don’t rent from The Stellar Dweller team via VRBO.

Cute little cabin in the woods
The cabin sits in a lovely back woods area that is isolated from the surrounding properties. The cabin itself is cute and cozy. It is well stocked with the usual kitchen necessities. It is very clean. The bed was comfortable. We could not see the lake from the cabin. The listing mentions "lake view." You have to travel through another property that is under construction to become a hunting lodge. This property is gated. The gate was open when we checked in, but it was closed and locked when we left. Our mistake was that we sent the required "checkout" text as we left, then drove through the hunting lodge property to discover that we were locked in. We sent messages to our host, Tyler, but received no reply. After waiting for about an hour, we drove around the front perimeter of the private hunting lodge property that is marked with "No Trespassing" signs in our 4x4 vehicle and we were able to find another way out without having to resort to cutting fence wire in order to leave. We are home now, we still have not heard from our host. My advice to future guests is: Don't send the "Checkout" text until you have made sure that gate is open. Tyler was responsive until we checked out. That gate is not visible from the cabin.

We had the best time! It was the sweetest getaway. Quaint and secluded and exactly what we were wanting. We brought our fur baby as well. The cabin is exactly like the listing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway.

Down time
We needed to get out of town to rewind and this was just the retreat for us. We enjoyed a campfire 🔥 every night. The bed was very cozy and the amenities were appreciated. With the exception of the noises of construction, dogs and gunfire the solice of nature was calming. Beautiful area of the Ozarks.

Perfect Getaway for Crystal Digging Weekend
In anticipation of our crystal digging weekend, we had pre-booked this charming spot for my child's birthday celebration. As the day wound down, it proved to be the perfect haven to unwind and create lasting memories. The well-appointed and cozy space offered a comfortable respite, made even more refreshing by the cool blast of the AC after a day in the heat. My son's fascination with the porch chairs, where he sat through a passing rain shower, showcased the spot's unique charm. The boho decor further enhanced the already adorable accommodation. Without a doubt, this was not just a place to stay; it was an experience that added to the magic of our celebration, leaving us with cherished memories.
