The apartment is right on the water and so you get a wonderful view when you first open the doors to the terrace. It was also wonderful to hear the surf all day long! We had unobstructed views of the sunsets.Getting to the beach was via a set of stairs and you had to walk on a small rocky area and then you got onto the sandy part of the beach. The first day was a bit tricky but we got the hang of it. We did it barefoot but water shoes might be handy.The apartment is close to restaurants and so we were able to walk back and forth.We also took a cab from the grocery store which was about a 10 min ride.Sam and Michelle provided bread, eggs, milk, butter, water and cokes which was helpful as we were not able to go to the grocery store the first day. The apartment was clean. The kitchen had everything you needed. The only thing I would suggest is a coffee maker, extra sheets/blankets.Overall, we had a wonderful time at purple rain.
