Was clean and friendly staff. Only negative was we didn't know pool was down for maintenance. But staff was nice and gave us some snacks, free of charge. Will stay again.

Pool is closed for maintenance. Elevator is old and slow. Property overall is dated and not clean looking. The front desk person did the job, but thats about it. Disappointed after a long day.

Needs updated. You can tell this hotel is in a college town. Place is beat-up & rough around the edges… definitely showing its age. Also on busy mornings hot water was sketchy

Rooms are clean and chairs/bed comfortable. The staff are super friendly and helpful (front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff). The hotel was completely full and parking was tight. We would stay there again.

Everything was great except one thing: it was winter time, and the air conditioning was on in the indoor pool area. It felt like 55 degrees, making it very cold, which is upsetting since this was one of the only pools in my last dozen hotel stays that was actually warm! Even with this, would definitely recommend, and will probably stay there again.

First thing, smelled like Cannabis…got to our room and they gave us a room that was already occupied by a guest and we walked in on someone getting out of the shower! I was absolutely embarrassed for us both!! Shame on them! This should NEVER HAPPEN TO A GUEST!!

The room was just dirty and the toilet leaked I told the staff the first night and it still leaked when we left. We only stayed two of the three nights. Probably will not use Expedia again. You can’t get ahold of any one.

Wonderful Stay
The front desk staff where kind, professional & helpful. The housekeeping staff does a wonderful job cleaning. The breakfast crew did a great job providing hot, fresh and tasty food. Along with keeping everything clean and tidy. Our bed was comfty, water pressure was wonderful, heard min. to no noise outside & plenty of places around to eat if needed. The only negative, the rooms and hotel could use a face lift. A few minor cosmetic touches are needed in the rooms. This did not effect our stay in any way.

Most of front staff were not friendly. Very dated. The room and floor smelled really bad. Would not stay again.

The front desk person was fantastic. There was a mix up with our reservation and he fixed it immediately and gave us rewards points. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable.

Nice hotel, everything is what you would expect. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable bed, breakfast met expectations. The elevator was out of service which was well communicated by the staff at check in. My only issue was the price. At the rates charged, I would expect better than average accommodations.

Had to cut my stay short and neither the hotel or Expedia would permit me to cancel one night. Had to absorb the cost of that last night. Will never use Expedia again.

The elevator was not working, no notice on the 3rd floor to advise guests. The overall look of the interior wasn't up to par to the name "holiday inn express". Pricing was increased drastically due to Ball State University graduation. The price did not match the feel nor the state of the hotel. Left feeling ripped off.

Pre-paid reservation for 2 queens. Arrived and they gave our room away and only had 1 king sofa for all 4 of us. We took it cause its all rhey had. No sheets, no comforter, no extra towels. Had to come back to desk to request. Hassle.

I was confirmed to stay until Dec 15, upon returning to the hotel on the evening of the 14th after working all day I found my room was booked with another customer. All my belongings were tossed in my suitcase and backpack. My work involves patient and physician personal information which was laying out in piles with a ton of research - this is most certainly a HIPAA violation for your staff to enter and have access to my patient information! I was not called and when I required why not call I was rudely told they tried. I have my phone on me 24/7 and I had no missed calls- It is not my fault nor my responsibility that your staff called the wrong number when the phone number listed was correct. I have tried numerous times to contact customer relations and have yet to be compensated for the intrusion and forcing me to have to stay at another hotel for my last night! (they did not charge me for the other hotel), When your staff tossed everything in my suitcase and backpack my computer mouse and also my ipad pencil were misplaced. They need to replace ASAP!!! It is nearing almost a month since my stay and I have no official agreement for my personal items to be replaced. I WANT a call back for the status of my complaint. I do not have the complaint confirm # with me but I am sure you can figure that out. Rebecca Burks 509-435-8317
