The pictures truly didn’t do this place justice—what a hidden gem! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm. The hand-painted murals added such a unique and artistic touch. The setting was so peaceful and quiet, yet just a short drive to town. We spent our evenings soaking in the amazing hot tub, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It was the perfect mix of serenity and convenience. Can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was perfect!! The location was an excellent combination with mountain surroundings but only minutes from town. The property was so well appointed and meticulously decorated it’s evident that the hosts care about the visitor experience. We truly enjoyed our stay!!

I can’t say enough positive things about this property. It was a cozy little house right outside of Murphy. It was in a great location close to many things to do and see. The cottage itself was clean with everything you need. My favorite spot was the back porch sipping coffee. The owner was very helpful and was quick to respond. I would stay there again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Murphy. The house was beautiful, and the location was peaceful. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and cooking on the grill. We were glad to be near so many outdoor activities that allowed us to enjoy being out in nature.

We stayed here for a week, and it was perfect for 2 couples! We had a truck and trailer, 2 motorcycles and another vehicle and there was plenty of room to park. The house was beautiful and so clean, we loved all the little details. You can really tell the owners care and put a lot of work into this place. We did wish there was a tv in the 2nd bedroom just for night time, but wasn’t a big deal. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay here. Super convenient location to our destinations and for visiting some friends. Pet friendly, peaceful, quiet & plenty of amenities. Owners were extremely attentive to our needs. Bathrooms were updated more recently which was a plus. Will def stay again on our next trip up.

This house has everything you need to the "nth" degree (There was a shoe horn by the chair in the bedroom!). Beautiful setting in the woods. Hot tub that was oh so good! Inside was immaculate. Beautiful wall art. Cutest bathrooms. Designed so perfect. Comfy beds. Pet friendly. Close to casino. Friendly neighbors. Grill... it goes on and on. You won't be disappointed!

We rented Hummingbird for a one week vacation with friends. We were amazed with this property from the thought that was put in to provide everything we needed. It was the perfect size for 4 adults. The beds were comfortable, perfect size living room so that we could all sit around and chat in the evenings. We had a total of 4 motorcycles with us plus a 20ft trailer. More than enough room. We were so happy with this rental that we are already planning to stay here next year..

We needed a short break from our crazy daily routine in nearby Asheville NC. Hummingbird House provided just what we needed. It’s a very clean, charming and quiet place to relax. We enjoyed Murphy and environs very much. We definitely recommend this place.

This beautiful home provided everything we expected and more for a much needed weekend away, great folks to work with as well. Everything was impeccable with great pride in the home, impeccable cleaniliness, beautiful murals done by a local artist. We highly recommend this home for your next home away from home.

After a terrible stay at a Marriott in Raleigh, we were praying for a comfortable and clean VRBO in Murphy. We got more than expected from this property! Beautiful, clean and the amenities were incredible! This property has everything! The owners are top notch!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Beautiful, quiet wooded area and delightful, comfortable home with everything we needed. Only a couple minutes from town, but feels like you're in the forest. Owners very quick to respond and easy to communicate with - would definitely come again!
