Peace on the Prairie Too es una casa unifamiliar de 570 pies cuadrados que ofrece la paz, la tranquilidad y la tranquilidad que buscas para un momento de descanso. Esta nueva casa independiente se encuentra en una restauración de praderas de 24 acres con bosque en dos lados y campos agrícolas en los otros dos lados. ¿Te gusta observar la naturaleza, mirar las estrellas, observar aves, mariposas, luciérnagas y ciervos? ¿Como la paz y la tranquilidad? Este es un lugar excepcional para aquellos que buscan alejarse por un tiempo, aunque solo sea por una noche. Excepto por el ocasional automóvil en la carretera, este lugar ofrece un respiro de los sonidos y olores de la ciudad y es un área muy buena para observar la naturaleza. Hay al menos 100 especies de aves durante el año, muchas especies de libélulas y mariposas, un estanque de pesca (y dos estanques más pequeños adicionales) de venados, conejos, visones, coyotes, zorros, al menos cinco especies de luciérnagas y mucho más en este santuario de vida silvestre. Mantenemos muchos senderos para pasear tranquilamente por la pradera y el área de madera, lo que le permite relajarse y explorar los pastos nativos, las flores, los árboles, la vida silvestre y la oportunidad de reconectarse con la naturaleza.

La planta baja consta de una sala de estar / comedor, cocina completa, baño con ducha grande, lavadora y secadora, lavaplatos automático y un sofá futón tamaño queen. Se proporcionan todos los utensilios de cocina, vasos, platos, cubiertos, etc. Una parrilla de gas también se proporciona para asar al aire libre.

El segundo piso de tamaño completo es el área principal para dormir con una cama tamaño queen y un segundo sofá futón tamaño queen. Esta planta también cuenta con una biblioteca de lectura ecléctica, una mesa de trabajo para su computadora portátil o tableta, y un fácil acceso a la cubierta cubierta con vista a 16 acres de praderas nativas, madera y dos estanques.

Lovely piece of peace!

Kid friendly - pet friendly - lovely view of stars (when no clouds). Comfortable home! Stairs are kind of steep if you have someone with mobility issues but they have their other 1 story property too. I walked past it during a hike and it also looks lovely. Kevin was so easy to communicate with. I will be back.

Great weekend getaway

I had such a great stay here with my dogs. The place had everything we needed and then some. The property is beautiful and I was lucky the weather cooperated so we could walk through the trails and I could take some pictures of the many birds in the area. I will definitely be back. Thank you!

We both had the best nights sleep in a long time. Loved the clarity of the stars and the sound of crickets and frogs. Met Kevin briefly. He was very friendly and genuinely concerned for our comfort and satisfaction. Overall a pleasant experience.

Highly Recommend

The place is really comfortable, and the trails and nature around are perfect for exploring, especially with my dog. It was so easy to relax and just enjoy the quiet. Great spot if you want a break from it all and don’t want to worry about leaving your pet behind. Definitely recommend!

We heard 36 different birds in 10 minutes during breakfast. The hosts’ respect of nature and all people oozes from all the little extras. The humans, dogs, and birds echo that sentiment.

The name says it all

Though bigger than my home in Key West, the name Peace on the Prairie Too - Tiny House describes it perfectly. Just a little off the beaten path with no homes too nearby, it was exactly what I had hoped for. The communication from the hosts was spot on, and the chocolate chip cookies were a real treat! Next time I visit family in the area, I will return for a longer stay.

This house was in a very quiet coutry setting with several trails,lots of flowers,modern appliances,airconditioning on bottom and top leval,with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host Kevin even helped us to guide us by phone how to get to this well kept up, remote house.

Great place to get away and relax

Me and my girlfriend needed a weekend away from home but decided to bring our dogs with us! This property is very clean, secluded, and has many walking paths attached to it. The only thing is, bring tick repellent and make sure any pets have flea and tick prevention. Ticks are prevalent but not a trip ruiner. The stars are bright, the birds are prevalent, and the pollinators are pollinating. Great getaway spot for any nature lover or pet owner. Kevin was very kind and very helpful throughout the weekend.

Truly peaceful!

What a lovely tiny house! We had a great stay! Bed was very comfortable, all the amenities we needed were available, loved the deck and trails. So quiet we slept great! Beautiful location for some peace and quiet. The cookies when we checked it were delicious too!

Perfection!

The house was amazing, and the property was gorgeous! The owner thought of everything that we may need, it was a well though out floor plan, clean, faced away from the road for privacy, we watched the sun rise and sun set on the top balcony every day that we stayed, and it was peaceful! He welcomes dogs, which we communicated that we had 3 larger breeds, and even asked us as we departed if they enjoyed their stay to. That was sweet! Hes a friendly guy, and the best part was that his wife made homemade cookies for us on our arrival! Delicious! One thing I would highly suggest that the owner does as well is tick medicine for animals, and spray for yourself! Ticks were bad for sure but we were prepared for it thank god.

Nice easy getaway

We enjoyed our stay; that is once the grass was cut. We contacted owner and they took care of it promptly but our first nights stay we could not walk the trails and property due to grass being overgrown; our second night was great. We enjoyed bird watching here and walking the trails at nearby Jacksonville Lake as well.

Tiny home to get away from it all.

This tiny house was perfect to get away from it all. Quite relaxing. Surrounded by a field and a trail that wraps around the property perfect for dog walking and sitting out during the day or night. Kevin was excellent at communicating, and very sweet. Totally would stay here again.
