Had a wonderful stay at the Roost at Villa Magnolia. Very nice clean room, fantastic king size bed and some of the best sheets I've slept in anywhere. Period. Absolutely amazing. The patio was great, large enough to lay out and relax on in the afternoon sun, and having two bathrobes in the wardrobe was a welcome surprise. We will very likely be back!

Naramata Getaway
The Roost is lovely! The decor was very current and spotlessly clean. It is well appointed and comfortable. The lounge chairs overlooking the lake are wonderful for relaxing. An added plus is being able to walk to wineries and to restaurants in the village.

Beautiful place
The room and deck were clean and a comfortable size. Hosts were easy to reach and on site; nice feature. Walls are a bit thin, but if all guests respect the noise level, there are no issues.

And yes, as with any shared accommodation, from the biggest hotels to the smallest B&Bs, the most important thing in terms of noise is for the guests to be considerate and respectful of their noise levels. Lovely room but unfortunately the room is not sound proofed and we could hear the people above us actually talking and every s th so they took reverberated down into our room. Not private by any stretch of the imagination. Would NOT stay there again or recommend it for these reasons.

Excellent experience!
My husband and I came here for our 5th wedding anniversary. We were greeted by Alan and Anna and they were both lovely and assisted us with all of our needs. Anna pre-booked us a table at the Naramata Inn for dinner, and Alan arranged for e-bikes for us (located at the property). We were able to travel to wineries, little tunnel and around Naramata easily on the e-bikes as well. The view from the deck is even better than the photos! Overall, excellent stay!

Great spot right in the middle of so many wineries so it was easy to do a walking winery tour without the need to hire a driver. This quiet area with amazing views from your provate balcony is hard to beat. Would recommend.

Lovely space and sparkling clean
My husband and I have travelled extensively and we have never been more anxious to go on a trip given the current Covid Pandemic. We debated whether or not to keep our reservation at the Villa Magnolia in this uncertain world. We are so happy that we did decide to spend 4 nights in this lovely space that was sparkling clean. The owners Alan and Anna operate a very professional Guest House . We had all of the amenties that we needed in this private, contemporay Guest House. The detail and decor were simply divine! The quaint neighborhood of Naramata and its surrounding vineyards are a must see. Last but not least is the view overlooking Lake Okanagan...it was beyond beautiful...highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a peaceful and serene getaway...we willl return for sure :)

Beautiful!
Very clean with good instructions on all property features. A great place to relax, and enjoy the view of the lake! Really appreciated the 'quiet' nature of the property-all guests very respectful of each other which is enforced by the host. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Perfect Getaway
The place is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. A very well kept and comfortable place. We really enjoyed the deck and the view which was amazing. Anna and Alan were great hosts who’s advice, information and recommendations made our stay even better. Several wineries just a quick walk away as well as a beach and great food!

The best option in wine country!
We were on a roadtrip in the PNW. This was our only reservation not in a hotel. This room was spectacular, spacious, and extremely convenient for what we came to Naramata to do - drink wine! The room was cozy, but not too small. We had the best view of the lake and the winery right at the end of our yard. Alan and Anna made everything easy and personal. If you and your significant other is looking for a calm and romantic spot to taste your wines. This is it! (Trust me - it’s 100% better than the Penticton resort and spa... also won’t dig into your wine budget nearly as much). Thanks so much Anna and Alan!

Fabulous
Quiet. Peaceful. Immaculate view of Okanagan Lake, Beach, Marina. The room perfect. Anna and Alan were great hosts. Private yard and even though there are other guests, we hardly noticed they were there. Just what we needed for out 5 days of relaxation.

Wonderful!
We stayed in The Roost suite and it was perfect. Anna has decorated the space beautifully. Extremely clean. Had everything we needed. The private patio and view was amazing. Alan provided lots of information for the Naramata Bench area. Too bad we could not stay longer. We definitely would return.

Fantastic view, great location
Anna and Alan were great hosts, and they provided us with a wealth of information about the area The accommodation suited our needs perfectly, having everything the two of us needed for our visit to the Naramata Bench. The space was comfortable, quiet and clean. The view of the lake from our private deck was spectacular. I’ll be recommending this spot to friends.

Great getaway or honeymoon location!
We stayed here just days after our wedding and it was such a nice place to relax and soak in the scenery. The views are perfect. The decor in the home is spot on, right out of a design magazine. I also loved the attention that was taken in advance to share information about dining and wine touring opportunities in the area. It really helped to navigate our stay in Naramata. Thank you!

Beautifully designed and decorated.

Wonderful surprise
Loved this little gem. Lots of thoughtful touches like blankets to warm you while star gazing out on the balcony, umbrellas, binoculars, teas and coffees etc. Great bed with quality bedding and pillows. The place was also spotless which we appreciate after having been on the road for a while. Beautiful bathroom and magazine-like decor throughout. Too bad we could not stay longer, we'll be back and will recommend. Very hospitable and friendly hosts.

Stunning view and a wonderful clean, quiet accomodation
We arrived around 4pm at the Villa Magnolia and were greeted very warmly by Anna and Alan Gove, the owners... We were shown to our room and we went over the "rules & regulations" plus any information we might require regarding the room. They had great ideas & tips to share regarding breakfasts, lunches, dinner etc. We received the same info by e-mail which was an added bonus. It was a warm & inviting place to stay. We loved our room & the kitchenette & bath room were perfect.. We wish we could have stayed longer but prior comittments prevented it. We would recommend Villa Magnolia for sure. We hope to return next summer & every summer as long as we are able. Thank you to Anna & Alan!!

Peaceful and modern
Terrific long weekend at Villa Magnolia, the bed was super comfortable and luxuriously appointed. Room was spotless and felt like a boutique hotel. Looking out to a beautiful view of the lake every morning made it really hard to leave. Alan and Anna are terrific hosts who were attentive yet respectful. Would highly recommend to wine lovers looking to chill out in quiet seclusion for a few days.

Fantastic View!
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Roost over the past weekend. The place is immaculately clean and tidy, and fully lived up to our expectations. The location was fantastic for wine touring and having access to the main road. What we enjoyed the most was the view off the balcony, and drinking coffee in the morning and watching the sun set with a glass of wine in the evening. It was lovely!

Exceptional View and Property
Anna, we LOVED Villa Magnolia. It was the perfect size for the two of us and although it was a busy weekend (we were there for a wedding) we enjoyed the time we spent on the deck. The kitchenette is the perfect size for a light breakfast or an afternoon cocktail snack! The bed is heavenly! The view is exceptional even though there was a fair amount of smoke the first couple of days. We really wish that we could have spent more days relaxing and enjoying the space. My husband is VERY picky and he went on an on about how great the property was (I think he just really liked the popcorn!). We both loved Naramata and the general store has the BEST banana bread we have ever had. We will try to come back when we can stay longer and explore the Kettle Valley Trail system. Incredible view, location, and accommodation
This was a wonderful place to stay. The view is unparalleled and the location is great if you want to spend time at the beach or at the wineries. The hosts were great with communication and made it very simple to understand the logistics for checking in and out. The suite itself was beautiful and very roomy! We loved the space. When there were guests in the suite above us, we did hear them as previous guests mentioned, but otherwise it was very quiet and so relaxing. The air conditioning is a great feature to have in the heat of the summer - although the controls to turn it up or down are not in the suite (as far as we could see) but I'm sure if you got in touch with the hosts, they would adjust it for you without a problem. The deck was just awesome to spend time on. Private, and perfectly furnished for a relaxing morning coffee or wine at sunset. Perfection.Anna and Alan were wonderful hosts and even brought us fresh picked plums from their trees in the yard below - delicious and such a nice gesture! Thank you both for having us - we definitely hope to be back!!

As good as it gets, the best place in Naramata for sure
My wife and I stayed at the Roost, billed as a "luxury couples getaway" within the house that the owners call Villa Magnolia. We were a little skeptical of the pictures, things looked just a little too good, especially the view - but the reality beat the pictures by a mile. Furnishing and decor was all top notch, it was a beautiful suite, and that view! We've been to a lot of B&Bs in the area (all of the top ones in Naramata/Penticton), but have never seen a view like this, or had a location like this, or a room like this. The bed was extremely comfortable (and we are both very fussy), we had everything we needed or wanted, and sitting on the loungers with a glass of wine and that view was just heavenly. The little kitchenette was fully stocked and great, much better than you normally get at a B&B. And what also really struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was at the villa. We so appreciated that, being from the city. We went to the many wineries in the area, did lots of stuff, but couldn't wait to get back to the room each night for that glass of wine. Anna was terrific to deal with, and the perfect host, always available but never obtrusive. You will love this place, it really is the best. Robert

Amazing Setting!
Our stay at the Villa Magnolia was wonderful. The room was clean and classy and has a phenomenal view of Lake Okanagan. Anna is a gracious hostess. We were able to visit some local wineries but mostly enjoyed relaxing on the deck taking in the views, including a most spectacular sunset our first evening.

Stunning view and elegant accommodation
My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in July and loved every minute of our stay. The location is excellent, and located close to many of our favorite wineries and restaurants, as well as the beach in Naramata. The view is stunning...we sat out with a glass of wine every evening and watched the sun set over the lake. The elegant suite is a nice size, and is very tastefully decorated in soft greys and white, with a few pops of colour. The bed and linens are extremely comfortable, and we definitely appreciated the bathrobes as well. There is a little noise from the suite above but it didn't bother us. We would definitely return, and look forward to future stays.
