Fantastic
The property is beautiful and serene. The hosts are absolutely wonderful. I was there for a business trip and didn’t want to stay in a hotel. I had a couple of meetings with employees who live in the Nashville area but office from home. The Milk Barn was perfect.

The Milk Barn
We planned a short weekend trip and this cute guest house was perfect. The property was beautiful and the house was very clean and decorated so cute. The bed was very comfortable and the living space was cozy. The location is close enough to explore Franklin, Leipers Fork, and Nashville. I would highly recommend this property.

Get Away
A short stay but the guest house was absolutely charming. And I loved that it was a quiet surrounding.I would definitely stay here again and recommend the Milk Barn!

Perfect stay!!
This house was perfect for our stay. It was very cozy and clean. Located in a great spot for visiting nearby towns. It was about a 40 minute drive to downtown Nashville. While staying here you should also visit Columbia Tn and Franklin Tn. You will not be disappointed in this property!

The BEST VRBO I have ever stayed at. Location was close to several small towns with lots of boutique shopping, great restaurants within 15 minute drive, 30 minutes to Nashville, super quiet neighborhood, rural, on a creek with outdoor seating/firepit. House is perfectly arranged, super clean, comfortable Beds. Owners are SO nice. I will come back for a hiking trip next time. Lots of trails near by. Book this place - you will LOVE it!!

Exactly as we had pictured it.
The Milk Barn was an adorable cottage in a quiet rural setting. Just what we were looking for. It was exactly as we had pictured it! The Hostess has it decorated beautifully. Little things, like creamer for coffee, were much appreciated. Very comfortable, very welcoming. We'd go back in a heartbeat and hope to some time.

Great Hideaway for Relaxation
Usually, we take our vacations to places with many touristy shops and activities. My wife loves to stay busy during our vacation, seeing every attraction within driving distance :) This year we decided to rest mainly. This place was perfect. We did make our way to Nashville one day and Franklin a couple of times, but mostly we stayed in. I wrote (I'm an author), and she watched TV. It was glorious. For the first time in several years, I returned home rested.

The Perfect Getaway!!
We were looking for a location away from the hustle and bustle for a spiritual retreat, yet convenient to restaurants. This was all that and more. The pictures - while true - do not do justice to the ambiance of the property and details of the cottage. And then there’s Lisa, the owner, and Sadie, the German Shepard that we got to meet - the chickens, horse and pony! A steer next door and donkeys across the road. What a get-away with warm hospitality. Will return ASAP!

Nice place to stay
Very nice, quiet and comfortable place to saty. Friendly owners but respect privacy. If you want a nice clean quite place to saty out away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is your best bet!

Perfect
We loved having the peace and quiet that a hotel does not have. The location was perfect for us as it was central to the places we like to visit while in the area. We loved the decor of the house and the creek and fire pit area was beautiful! We will recommend this place to others and will hopefully be able to stay there again.

This home had the best historical but modern vibe. Clean, comfortable and cozy! Location was perfect. Close to Franklin TN but no crowds and super easy access. Majestic scenery. Loved our stay. Went too fast.

Nice spot
The Milk Barn was clean and well equipped. I found it comfortable, but a bit tired, thus the overall 4 stars. I had everything I needed, but it was chilly on a night in the 40’s with only one heat unit in the property. The host was lovely and I still preferred it over a hotel room. Beautiful area.

Perfect Location for a Business Retreat
We had a great stay at the Milk Barn for a work retreat. The full kitchen and spacious living area made everyone feel comfortable as we set a vision and pace through 2024. Having laundry on-site was a huge help and the serene setting gave everyone a great night's sleep. Nolensville provided great food options (Cabo's, Campo, Pork Belly, and more) fabulous workout options (Title Boxing & Burn Boot Camp), and much-needed team manicures (Paris Nail Bar). Mickey and Lisa were great hosts and didn't seem to mind when we picked up our colleagues at 5am for boxing:) Cannot thank them enough!

Loved The Milk Barn!
My kids and I stayed here for a few days so that we could visit neighboring towns. We were about 25 mins from Franklin and Nashville so it was in a great location. Nolensville had a lot to offer as well. Martin's BBQ and Itty Bitty Donuts are two places you have to try. The home was perfect and just as described. We got to feed and pet the horses and their sweet dog, Sadie. We also got to see the chickens and barn cats. Everything was immaculate and communication with the owners was wonderful, they were always a phone call away if we needed anything. Will definitely be staying here again, can't say enough good things!

Plenty of space as well as peace and quiet
We loved staying at the Milk Barn! Lisa was so easy to communicate with and answered my questions quickly and efficiently. We have a disabled son in a wheelchair and it is always a concern to have the space that we need for him to maneuver in his wheelchair. That was never an issue, as there was an incredible amount of space in this place. It is clean and lovely. The furniture is beautiful as well as comfortable, and the stream that runs behind the house is just delightful. There's a swing set up by the stream that I wanted to sit on and enjoy, but it was too cold out there in this December! It was close enough to the city that we were able to attend several concerts without any trouble getting there and back. Nolensville was a few miles away and had several delicious restaurants. We are so pleased with our visit and will have many precious memories of our time spent here in the Milk Barn.

Tranquil and Relaxing
The cabin was true to pictures on line. It was stocked well with all the necessities needed. Comfortable beds. Fire pit and grill allowed us to have quality time with family. Outdoors. Location was tranquil and relaxing. Not far to Nashville and Franklin. Would definitely book with them again.

The best stay to date
Absolutely gorgeous house and so comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing vacation. The location was very easy to get to and had great places to eat nearby. Had just one little hiccup with the TV just because I am not tech savvy and couldn’t figure it out, but as soon as I messaged them, they were there in less than 3 minutes! Absolutely helpful and accommodating!

Very nice rural location close to Franklin & Nashville.
We stayed 5 nights to attend a music festival in Franklin, and see some sights around Nashville. The property was perfect for us. We enjoyed the quiet location. Everything in the listing is accurate. Lisa and Mickey were fantastic hosts. We enjoyed walking around the spacious property, meeting the various farm and domestic animals. The German Shepherd is young and energetic. She could be a little intimidating for some folks, but she is perfectly harmless and just wants to greet and play. The house was very spacious for us (two adults). We didn't really cook anything, but it appears to have everything you would need. Beds were comfortable and everything worked as needed. The little creek is a nice spot to sit and relax. Birdies was a nice breakfast spot in Nolensville, as was Martin's BBQ for dinner or lunch. Very happy with our stay and I would not hesitate to book it again!!

Weekend Getaway
The property is beautiful in a nice, quiet area. The owners are very nice people and gave us some ideas of places to visit. It isn't too far from all the Nashville must see things. We would definitely love to stay there again.

Short stay
We enjoyed our stay at the Milk Barn. The area is a showcase of beautiful homes and acreages. The house we stayed at was well cared for and super clean. What more can you ask for? There is a wide creek to sit by in the morning and drink coffee and lots of other things to see and do nearby.

5 stars! Wonderful host
This property is beautiful and in a great location. My family and I stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Very clean, all details were carefully thought of. We travelled with just our suitcases, and everything else we needed outside of normal travel items was there for our use. Lisa is great and very responsive. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Nashville area.

Very pleasant and Very Clean!
This clean and comfortable little guest house was so cozy for our little weekend getaway. It’s outside of Nashville and very much affordable but very easy to commute for any events or things you would like. Very well stocked and just perfect for us. The hosts were kind and even gave a late checkout courtesy.

The Girls go to Nashville!
The property is just as listed! Pictures are very accurate. Home is nice,clean,and comfortable. Nothing but a great time. My 11 year old niece loved seeing the water and horses. Owner lives next door and communication was excellent. We had the best time. Love the town very quaint. Wonderful place to stay outside of Nashville. Would absolutely stay again and hope to. So comfy & charming!

Nashville wedding getaway
Nashville wedding getaway This location is ideally located in the southern side of Nashville to reach many historical attractions and shopping areas. The quiet neighborhood with a babbling creek gave us such restful evenings that we are already planning our next trip. The accommodations were just what we would’ve had in our own home. Quality sheets and towels, very comfortable bedding and every little detail was designed please. We even enjoyed an evening bonfire just feet away from the creek. The combination of a crackling fire and a tumbling brook is the ultimate and relaxation for me. Nearby restaurants are delicious ice cream shop is the best! I hate to give a good review because I want to keep this place my hidden gem!

Amazing time
The property is beautiful, the house had everything we needed, plus more. Did not run into any problems, we met Mick, and he was very friendly. Overall we had and amazing time, and next time we come back to Tennessee I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great experience and very comfortable stay!!!
This was a great choice for us! We used to live around the area but never experienced the farm life. The hosts were amazing. The property is more than just an accommodation, it’s an experience exploring the farm and feeding the horses, building a campfire at night by the creek, and enjoying coffee by the creek. This experience made our daughter’s 9th birthday celebration very special!
