The hotel itself was very nice, we had a kitchen suite with a balcony. Shopping 5 minute walk for necessities. They called me after I had left to say I had left my cell phone charger. I asked if they would jut ship it by Canada post and I would pay the postage. Well today I had a phone call from ACE Courier in Abbotsford wanting $40 to deliver it!!!!! No thank you I’ll buy a new one. Not impressed!

The room was very small, but comfortable. Bathroom was extremely small. Staff was very courteous. The room on the street side, where I stayed, has a lot of traffic going by. There is a train that runs by behind the hotel twice a night, but it's not too noisy. the area directly behind the hotel is a park, which felt a bit unsafe at night. Be careful when you are parking, there is a very high curb in front, you park on the diagonal, and I dented my car on the curb.

While the Prestige "motel" is not as fancy as the one on the lake, it has a lovely view and a friendly attitude. We loved staying there.

Loved that it is located by the river. The train noise we were warned about didn’t bother us. We never heard one. Was not too thrilled about having to haul our luggage up and down stairs which we had to take to our room to and from the elevator. The bathroom was quite small but clean and shower was good. The room only had a small window with a window air condition unit. (3rd floor). 2nd floor rooms had a balcony and sliding doors. Would have booked that, had I known and paid the extra. We enjoyed a glass of wine and a crib game sitting on the larger, general use patio. All in all, this hotel served its purpose for us.

The peice was right, but this is a very old and worn property. The room was very small with no room for luggage. Rooms need a real updat. This is not a very quiet place to stay, very thin walls and doors. Staff is always great.

The Presige was disappointing. The hotel is at best dog tolerant. Not friendly at all. Upon my arrival, I was informed of additional dog fees that were not included anywhere visible on the Expedia listing. I had no choice but to pay them as it was later in the evening and I had no where else to go. The hotel claimed to have amenities for dogs like dog beds, treats, food, poop bags. None of those things were in the room when we checked in and after asking about it, the only thing they even had onsite were dog beds. There is also no where on the property for dogs to go to the bathroom and no garbage can at the front of the building. Also, we were put on the top corner of the top floor, the farthest away from the elevator. That’s just bad planning if you want dogs to have quick access to outdoors so they don’t poop in your hotel. Mine never did, they were champs, but it’s definitely a risk you run making that sort of mistake. Another thing not brought to my attention until my arrival is there is a train that runs right outside the building and it is LOUD! so loud they provide ear plugs… but not enough for everyone in the room which was weird. I was told Expedia should have sent me an email informing me of all of this and they did… at 2am on the night of my stay. The Prestige does NOT have a pool on the property. They offer access to their property “next door”. It is kilometres away and not convenient at all. They should NOT be allowed to lie about having that feature.

This was a great little hotel! Very clean and cute. The staff was super nice and helpful. There is a park along the river that you can easily walk to, and there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance!

Beautiful looking little hotel. A little disruptive being woken up every morning by the train going by between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, but otherwise a very nice place to stay.
