Kerry-Anne was good to communicate with but her review rating is puzzling and disappointing to us as she obviously thoroughly enjoyed her stay. Our beds are clearly identified as queens on the site. They had an unusual concern with the shower mixers. I called a plumber immediately to check them, and he advised that there was no problem with them! But we chose to upgrade the mixers anyway.

We were glad to hear that this guest thoroughly enjoyed our home! We are however puzzled that she did not find our few brief signs helpful, and so we will review them. We have had 5 star reviews from virtually every guest over the past 5 years, and even though we do politely ask (not demand) in our checkout notes, to put towels in the laundry on departure, no-one else has ever been offended. This small help keeps our cleaning fee to guests at a lower rate.

We are disappointed that Gary was 'slightly surprised' at our house rules, as we want every guest to have a wonderful experience at our house. As we often have back to back guests, we do request that guests enjoy our home with our simple guidelines in mind, including departure times, and common courtesies e.g. refraining from cooking foods that emit strong odours that linger for the next guests. We do politely ask guests (not demand) to help us by putting towels in the washing machine as they depart, due to timeframe for guest changeover. We appreciate that our spa is not the latest model, but I have had it checked by professionals and it is working correctly. We virtually always receive 5 star reviews, for our views, attention to detail and welcoming home. We know our next guests will thoroughly enjoy it too!
