Lovely Location

It was a great place for us to spend Thanksgiving with family. The river, trees and deck were wonderful - we really enjoyed being outside. The large kitchen table was perfect for eating meals and playing Mexican Train! We look forward to returning.

Great spot to enjoy the river.

I booked this property with some friends and the house was just as described in the listing. The neighborhood is peaceful and we had the river to ourselves all weekend. It was quite nice that they had some tubes available for us to use. The house itself is quaint and had all the things necessary to cook, but the oven was not working and there is no dishwasher. I would recommend this place for a small group that is looking to unwind and enjoy nature.

Mini Family Vacation

Nice River Side

The house itself was good, pretty clean and water pressure was good. The beds were uncomfortable but that would be a personal preference on comfort levels and the coffee pot didn't work, probably just needs a good cleaning but after 30 min there was only a few cups brewed. The location on the river is good however it is located directly on the curve of the street so getting your vehicle in and out is tricky and SO MANY people were speeding around the curve along with many motorcycles. We got in the river from the concrete dock but there is no ladder or way back up out and it is deep there, we had to go next door and use their ladder. The fishing was fun and got a good size catfish!

Omg amazing

This place definitely exceeded all expectations we had coming in. Anything you can think of this house will have. Zero complaints from myself or family. The access to the river was exceptional and super easy to get to. We highly recommend booking here if you want to float the river. We used the grill outside and it worked perfectly. Also having a refrigerator outside was a plus for drinks and snacks. We’ll be back again for sure.

Quiet and Convenient

Very nice property and very easy to find. Beautiful drive from downtown New Braunfels and Gruene. Would definitely stay there again in the Summer to enjoy the nice covered porch which had a refrigerator for convenient access to drinks!

Girlfriend get-a-way

The three of us enjoyed our stay! The back deck was so nice in the mornings looking out over the river. The house was just the right size for us—three ladies— three bedrooms each with queen sized bed and two baths. The house needs a little TLC—cleaning of baseboards, some paint. The biggest need was for the windows and porches to be cleaned. The porches and the furniture on them were covered in cob webs and spider webs. I wasn’t sure I was at the right house when I walked up to it because I thought no one had lived there in awhile because of all the cobwebs and dirt on the front porch. The hammock on the back deck was really dirty and all the stuff on top of the fridge on the back deck was rather unsightly. Also, needed directions for the TV remotes. But we still had a nice time! Looking out over the river was great!
