Relajante cabaña en el bosque con una cálida sensación al aire libre. Mucho espacio para estacionamiento, ubicado en 7 acres. El pavo salvaje se ve con frecuencia en el prado con una variedad de otros animales salvajes. Senderismo, caza, pesca y muchas otras actividades divertidas al aire libre están muy cerca. We enjoyed and deeply appreciate your beautiful cabin! The special touches throughout are so fun and fulfilling, not too much - just absolutely perfect. It was so enjoyable to watch each one of our children gasp with delight when they came through the door and soaked it all in! We want to thank you for not only sharing this treasure with us, but the work you have done collecting and the furnishings. What a service of love you have put into your home away from home. We are delighted we found it! Oh I have to stop myself because I could go on and on, we did not want to leave!

Perfect Family Retreat

We were visiting family who live in New Meadows. The Sportsman’s Acreage was even more beautiful than the pictures, fantastically provisioned, beautifully decorated, and extreme clean. We appreciated the host’s prompt communication and the welcome binder left in the cabin. We would absolutely stay here again.

Gorgeous Property

House is amazing. Love that the rooms all have Queen and King beds with multi couches in living and bonus room. Didn't realize it doesn't have AC but with the trees and shade it wasn't as bad as I would have thought in August.

Beautiful place! The location was great! The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the kitchen had quite the array of appliances we needed for our meals. It may seem silly, but having containers to store food in to place in the fridge was a big for us. The host was super sweet and even treated us for the special occasion. We really enjoyed our stay and all the accomodations.

Great family getaway cabin

We usually stay in McCall, but decided to try New Meadows and really enjoyed it! This cabin had lots of room to spread out in, a great deck to enjoy, and everything we needed. You will hear the cars on the hwy, but there is so much land around the cabin and it sits in such a secluded area from other people you do feel you are out in the woods, yet just a short drive to fun hikes and ice cream in McCall! We have lived in Idaho 30 years but went to places near this cabin we had never been before. Host is very responsive and cabin has everything needed to enjoy time in the mountains.

This cabin is Amazing!!!! Ellen is also amazing! Lots of room for everyone, setting is beautiful. We enjoyed every minute there. Ellen left me a lovely note and gift for my retirement that was so thoughtful. Just tells what a wonderful person she is. She also sent a left over piece of material back to us. She's awesome. I hope to go back again. Thanks so much!!

Son's Wedding

New Meadows is one of my favorite places in Idaho so I was beyond happy that my son and his wife chose it to celebrate their marriage. I wasn't sure that we could find a nice place in New Meadows that could accommodate all of us, but The Sportsman's Retreat was the perfect place for our family of 9 and mini Aussie, Lolo. The house and location are beautiful and even better in person. Everything was meticulous, comfortable, well appointed...and it even smells wonderful! Our family, traveling from 5 different states, needed time to clean up and change for rehearsal and dinner, and Ellen, our host, was especially gracious to allow us an early check in which we all so appreciated. The only problem was that our stay wasn't long enough. It was a wonderful place to relax and hang out, and we agreed that we would love to go back for a longer visit. And...the complimentary bottle of wine and truffles were enjoyed by all. Thank you so much from all of us!

Awesome Get Away Home!

My gal pals of the class of 77 spent a fun filled weeked at this amazing rural property. While we didn't embark on any of the adventures there was plenty of hiking, fishing and sight seeing within 20 or 30 minutes of the home.
