Disappointing
Though old, nicely refurbished overall, quiet & no intrusive lighting at night. Peaceful. Warm. Overall clean. Spacious, good parking. However, the rubbish bin had previous guests rubbish still in it when we arrived, making us question overall cleanliness. The paring knife had been used for drugs (burnt tip as when "spotting") which makes you wonder what had gone on in the unit prior to our stay. The toilet roll holder was an old plastic type, cracked, perished with rusty screws. Lets the rest of the refurbishment down. The bed was horrible with roll together. The shower was terrible. Would have had a better wash standing outside in the rain. The knife & rubbish are small things which would be easy to fix but which left us feeling yuck about the place from the start. Owners, you need to use your beds & showers before charging others to use these. When staying in a motel, those are the two critical items, the quality of which should be prioritised. Won't be back.
