Amazing!
The house was perfect! It was clean and well stocked and the location was great. Jim answered every one of my questions promptly and also gave a ton of helpful information about the island and restaurant suggestions. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect for a larger group the outside is absolutely beautiful
We had a wonderful week at Jim and Maria’s place. The house is gorgeous especially the outside! They were very helpful in suggestions of beaches to visit restaurants to try and other activities! If we come back to Aruba we will definitely stay here again!

Had a great week
Our first time to Aruba, 3 couples in their 50’s & 60’s, 2 girls in their early 20’s. Everyone enjoyed the property and the location. Quiet safe neighborhood but close enough to walk to where the action is. The property is just as described and the host’s are great. Helpful when you need them and not around when you don’t. Will do this again!

Great stay!
The property was beautiful, especially the pool and outside bar area. The owner was extremely helpful, answering all of my questions. I especially liked the location, walking distance to the beach but close drive to other beaches.

Great Rental
Close to everything, home was perfect with a family of 5. The pool has night glowing lights which was fun. Plenty of beach stuff, towels. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend a car as it is not a bicycle or walking area. Had a wonderful time

Yes cars are recommended as there are a lot of places to go in Aruba. Almost the entire 750 meter walk on the road from our place to beach has a side walk and many people do walk it. I do see people biking everywhere but I do agree with your comment about the bicycling as most of the roads all over Aruba do not have bike lanes. There are a few good spots some of which are along Eagle Beach, Malmok, and a big trail south of the airport. All the best! Jim & Tamara

GORGEOUS home in Aruba, PERFECT location
This was our first family stay in Aruba. We absolutely loved the home and the outside was just gorgeous. I would rate this a 10 star!! It is in the perfect location and only minutes to the beach. Jim & Tamara were by far the best hosts and we can't thank them enough. We have rented many VRBO homes and this is by far the best ever!! Excellent stay
The outside was so relaxing! Everything was very clean, kitchen fully stocked, everyone had their own beach towel and full set of shower towels, beach chairs for everyone, and coolers to bring to the beach. Jim and Tamara are excellent hosts and great communicators. While you can walk the car was a plus and parking is never an issue. Would definitely go back!

Great Villa for our family
Villa is very well set up for couples and kids. Great pool and pool bar area. We appreciated the laundry facilities and overall villa was very well equipped. All beds were super comfortable. The ability to use beach chairs and toys was fantastic. Location was close to everything. Jim and Tamara were super helpful and friendly. Could not ask for nicer hosts!

Christmas vacation
Jim and Tamara’s house was fantastic. We felt like we were staying at our own private resort. The pool and outdoor bar were fantastic! The interior of the house was just as beautiful and had everything we could have wanted. Jim was incredibly responsive from the time we booked our stay and even checked to make sure we got home ok. A first class host with a first class property! Hopefully we will be back! We had such a great Christmas vacation with our family!

Best Trip Ever
From the time we landed until the time we left our expectations were way over met. Owner Jim is nothing but amazing and welcomed us in his home with open arms like we were family. The yard and and pool were paradise and we spent every morning and evening enjoying every bit of it. The air conditioning works amazing and beds were so comfortable and cozy. Great kitchen space and any dishes, utensils, coolers, pots, pans, etc you may need they had it. We will be going back some day. You won't be disappointed that's for sure!!

Amazing Villa
Amazing Villa with amazing property. You really feel like you are on your own private resort when you’re outside and by the pool. With the Palapas, the property is extremely private. The home is spacious and very inviting. It was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owners of the property were actually on the island when we were there and they were extremely receptive and always accessible. They made it well known that their number one goal was to make sure your stay was amazing and they fulfilled that. He let us know that the TV broke just before we got there and he purchased a TV and had it installed and ready to go by the time we got there. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

Island oasis
The house and property were beautiful and roomy. The house was well equipped , beds were very comfortable. It was private and peaceful and relaxing , yet minutes away from the activity of restaurants, casinos and beaches. The communication with Jim was so helpful.We hired Chef John who brought in a delicious dinner. We also used Jim’s car rental people. While the cars weren’t very modern or well equipped they were adequate for our purposes. The rental car people weren’t always communicating but it all worked out, and were cheaper than the name brand rental companies. The pool and outdoor bar made a great gathering place for our family. Thanks Jim for all the help. Bring your own soaps, shampoos and paper towels.

Beautiful home in Aruba
I would give this place 10 stars if i could! Such a well cared for and immaculate home. The place is beautiful and was perfect for the 8 people we had. we spent every morning in the pool and every night at the pool sitting around the Tiki bar. Jim helped us reserve cars as well and the whole process was painless. He communicated with us throughout the trip and checked in on us. We had an issue with losing wifi and ge contacted the company and checked back to make sure it was working. Can’t say enough good things. i would definitely rent this house again and will recommend it to anyone i know who’s planning a trip to Aruba!! Thanks for a wonderful family vacation. it’s also walking distance to the Marriott and Ritz but we did drive there. He had beach chairs and towels for each of us

Lovely little oasis!
The house was beautiful and spacious. The host and property managers provided lots of communication regarding the area and recommendations. They were very communicative. Loved the pool! Close drive to beaches and downtown hotel district with lots of food. Highly recommend a snorkel excursion, as well as visiting Arikok National Park!

Perfect!
The house is beautiful and as advertised. We had 8 adults and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. The interior of the house is great. It was clean and well maintained. The yard and pool area is an oasis! It felt like we were at an all-inclusive resort. We loved sitting under the tiki huts. The pool was perfect for cooling off from the Aruba heat. The house location is convenient - walkable to the beach and very safe. Maria was there to check us in and was very sweet and helpful. We would 100% stay here again!

Wonderful girl’s trip!
This was the perfect spot for a girl’s week away. It had all the amenities and was conveniently located to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The outdoor oasis with the pool and bar area was the highlight. Jim was very accommodating and kept in close contact, quickly answering questions, and assisting us in planning the perfect vacation. We would love to come back for a visit and would surely suggest this vacation spot!

One beautiful well cared for oasis!
Great property inside and out. Four couples with privacy and group activity’s when required. Have stayed in nine Vrbo properties over the years and this unit along with Arubas fantastic weather is one of the top two. Would highly recommend this for a relaxing vacation. Thanks to Jim and Marie for the easy arrangements and helpful hints.

Wonderful Oasis
We called this our oasis while we were there. Pretty much secluded space by the pool with great foliage and a wonderful pool and palapas. The bar area is also fantastic. Loved it and the whole pool area. The house itself was also perfect for the 6 of us that stayed. No issues or complaints.

Beautiful yard/pool, but mosquitos made it unusable most of the day.
The house layout and BRs were spacious. The LR furniture should be updated for the price point. The yard and pool provided a resort-like feel but unfortunately the mosquitos made it unusable during the times of the day we would be at the house (morning coffee time and dinner/evenings). This was our 3rd Aruba home rental near Palm Beach and never experienced mosquito problems where we rented (Opal neighborhood =paved roads). We used loads of bug spray but it worked only minimally. More rain than usual this year, but this property suffers from unpaved roads (tire ruts from construction) and vacant lot next door had constant standing waters and created mosquito breeding grounds. The unpaved road and vacant lot are not in property description. The owner did alert us to the construction zone in front of the property, which we tolerated, and the workers enjoyed our unused beverages when we departed. Overall we had a pleasant 11 day rental.

Hi Gwen, Despite your encounters with mosquitos I am glad to hear you had an overall pleasant stay. This year there were several unusually large rain fail events prior to your trip and mosquitos were all over the island. One of the areas many mosquitos were coming from was near and around the Salina, which is directly behind Opal (its on Aruba's map). So (Opal = paved roads Does Not Equal No Mosquitos). There are no empty lots in our small development (7 villas). There is undeveloped land in the back of the development which is part of the Rooi System which is where rain water travels to Salina behind Opal some 500-600 yards away. Water does not accumulate in back of our place as it is one the Rooi's high points. The rut which was some 200+ away on the side of the road at the beginning of the development was from the heavy rain run off from the paved off of our development. This had nothing to do with the renovation my niehbor was doing across the street. The Department of Tranportation smooths out the road soon after a heavy rain event. BTW the renovation is complete. Regarding the price point. A single room at the hotels goes for more than double the price we offer. The furniture is 5 years old and the pictures on VRBO's website are exactly how it looks when you get there. I update the pictures regularly and include the date when the picture was taken. We keep slipcovers on the couches, chairs, throw pillows, foot rest, and dining room chairs so that we can wash them on a regular basis for our guests. Amongst her many talents my wife makes the covers for the throw pillows, foot rests, dining room chairs, and most of the outdoor furniture. I think she does a wonderful job! All the best! Relaxing and clean home
The house was very clean, the linens and beds comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and walks to the beach. We also walked to the small grocery’s store. Easy to drive to beaches and other activities. The house is well equipped, including a cooler and beach chairs and plenty of dishes. Thank you!

It was our first time in Aruba and Jim was easy to reach and the house and pool were beautiful. The house is close to beaches and restaurants. Also close to shopping. Very friendly place. The house is very well maintained. Thanks again Jim!

Wonderful accommodations
The home was perfect for our needs, we were there with 6 adults and our 3 year old granddaughter. The bedrooms are spacious and clean , Our granddaughter enjoyed the bunk beds. The kitchen is fully equipped. plenty of room in the dining room and living room for all of us. The outside is spectacular, feels like a resort. We used the outdoor grill for shish kabobs we purchased at Superfoods. The washer and dryer are in a separate building with plenty of beach chairs ,toys and a full bathroom.. The property manager Maria and Jim the owner were quick with answers to any question we had. Jim arranged for a rental van for us and it work out great. Overall this home has everything to make a perfect stay.

Beautiful oasis
Our two families (4 adults and 3 kids under 5) enjoyed our stay! The pool was a major hit with the kids (and so were the many iguanas and lizards who visited!) and the gardens truly are a sight to see. Jim provided excellent communication prior to and throughout our stay. Great location and easy to reach the high rises. A fantastic restaurant, Oak, is within walking distance which is nice. Love the privacy from the fences and gates which helped block the construction across the street. Definitely recommend!

Birthday vacation
What a beautiful home this was. There is nothing lacking as far as kitchen and amenities. The pool/ backyard area is spectacular if you don’t want the beach. If you do want the beach… chairs and toys and coolers all on property for use. The owner was extremely easy and attentive to anything I asked from day one. I always read reviews on rentals because pictures certainly can be edited. This was prettier than it shows and all reviews are accurate. I would rent this again in the future. I would like to add that a car is needed if you would like to explore as we did do that. We preferred Eagle beach versus the closest hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Amazing vacation!
This was a long planned and much anticipated trip for our family. We got everything we expected and imagined, and then some. The property was as beautiful as in the pictures, the location was perfect, and the owner/host was great and extremely responsive. Though not the first time on Aruba, this was the first time we vacationed outside of a hotel setting, but what we got was a beautiful private resort perfect for a family. We would like to thank both Jim and Maria (and of course Maria’s husband Peter) for their hospitality and help during our stay.

Van Brunt Family Aruba Stay
Our family had an amazing time staying at this VRBO! It was as described and accommodated our family of 8 perfectly. We got a lot of use out of the pool, The Tiki Bar, and the shaded areas under the tiki huts. Maria does a great job managing the property and Jim is the perfect host! Great communication. Paradise in Aruba
The arrival and check in processes were easy. The house and property was clean and tidy and included all amenities. It is in a great location and easy walking and driving to different areas. Jim kept in constant contact with us. He checked on us before during and after the rain to make sure we were safe and didn’t need anything. We will definitely stay here again and are already planning.
