Fantastic house!

We had a wonderful stay in Aruba at this house. It was exactly as shown in the pictures, was a short walk to the beach out the back gate, and in a beautiful and quiet area. The hosts were very responsive, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Great place

The house is excellent condition. It has a great layout and amenities. We enjoyed the big living room, spacious bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, and the pool with patio. The property is five minute walk from the Aruba Racquet club, which we also took advantage of.

Private, Well-Equipped, Perfect!

A beautiful home with a well equipped kitchen and everything you need for fun at the beach. A beautiful saltwater pool and incredible back deck. Very private, very comfortable! Great music via Alexa Sonos – can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful Property and Location

We absolutely loved our stay at 210 Opal. Beautiful and very clean. The location was perfect and near the high rise section. Tom and Agnes were very responsive to answer any questions that I had. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this. When we return to Aruba, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for making our vacation perfect!

Perfect home away from home minutes from the beach

Well maintained, clean, and spacious. A full kitchen, and bbq for preparing meals. The beach is an easy 5ish minute walk from the back gate. Chair and umbrella rentals were available on the beach between the Ritz and Hilton. Numerous options for all manner of water sports rentals, activities, etc all within walking distance. We enjoyed the ability to take advantage of all the beach/resort atmosphere had to offer while having our own private sanctuary to retire to afterwards. The pool and patio area was a great spot to enjoy a quiet family meal with a view of the sunset.

Windy Bliss

Great communication with our hosts Agnes & Tom, very responsive to whatever questions we had. Description of property is very accurate, our party of 4 adults had more than enough room to move around freely and enjoy our lovely accommodations. Though we elected to eat out every meal, this property has a well appointed kitchen. Beautiful pool with seating options for full sun or full shade. Out the back gate is a 5 minute walk to the beach. We used Aruba Taxi for transportation from the property and if you call 15-30 minutes ahead they show up promptly at the time you request. We also walked around the neighborhood, a lot and often in the dark and never felt uncomfortable. Terrific first visit to Aruba.

Amazing stay!

Tom is an amazing host that gave us a lot of great tips and helped us during our stay. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed the pool everyday. Very convenient location near many beaches, restaurants and stores.

Beautiful Aruba Home

This home is comfortable, beautiful, clean and located in a safe quiet neighborhood. It’s close to the beach, hotels, restaurants and the racquet club. The pool is the best part, very relaxing!! The host is friendly and extremely helpful. It is perfect! I recommend it and I would definitely stay here again.

Aruba review

House was roomy and clean. Had lots of pots, pans, dishes etc. Had a washer & dryer but you must supply your own detergent. The pool area was amazing! Can’t say enough good things about it…just outstanding! Lots of beach towels too. House is a convenient walk to the beach & high rise hotels. Unfortunately, the construction going on a couple lots down was rather disappointing. Hammers started at 7am. Definitely not the owners fault but it would have been nice to know.

Great place

We loved our stay at this property. It is so close to the beach - an easy 5 minute walk through a lovely bird sanctuary. The lap pool in the back yard was a great way to cool off at the end of the day. The host was easy to contact and was very helpful. The house is fully equipped and nicely furnished. We highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Noord.

Beautiful Noord Home

We truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home right at the far edge of the high rise district in a quiet neighborhood. Super convenient location- a quick and very nice/safe walk across the bird sanctuary to the beach road. The house was perfect-spacious with lots of sitting/dining space. Every possible amenity you could need, plenty of beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and a cooler! Tom was a great host- very communicative and responsive with lots of helpful suggestions for enjoying the island as it was our first time in Aruba. Highly recommend this vacation home.

Awesome Home In Aruba

My family and I stayed 8 days at this home. It is just as lovely as the pictures show it to be. The home was perfect and so relaxing. We all enjoyed the pool. The home has everything you need to make yourself feel st home. The location is perfect and it is only a 3-5 minute drive to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet. We had a wonderful time enjoying this home and will stay again.

Excellent Place to Stay!

Home was very clean and in the perfect location to walk to the beaches & night life. Yet, just far enough away to have a relaxing day at the pool. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay on Aruba.

La casa ha tutto quello di cui puoi aver bisogno, cucina perfettamente attrezzata, arredamento di gusto e curato nei minimi dettagli. Spazi ampi, letti super comodi e biancheria di qualità. Spazio esterno attrezzato con lettini ,tavolo da pranzo, barbecue e infine una piscina illuminata in modo suggestivo. Dimenticavo di segnalare il silenzio che ha accompagnato il nostro sonno!

Beautiful home with easy access to the island

This home is well maintained, has great amenities and is situated for easy access to all that the island has to offer. The pool was great for early morning and evening swims after we had spent the day exploring the beaches and National Park. We also loved eating breakfast on the patio and seeing the birds that live in the preserved area behind the home. Aruba is an amazing island and we were delighted to stay in a house that made us fee at home.

Great trip, great house

We spent 6 nights at this property. The house is just as described. When at the house, we spent most of our time on the patio or in the pool. It is the perfect place to sit and have coffee in the morning and to watch the sunset in the evening. Prior to our visit, Tom the owner, was most helpful. Regarding the review mentioning the security cameras. We only noticed one and it is checking the pool and the open area behind the house. We felt very comfortable with it and in way did we feel we were being watched. The location is very convenient to the beaches and to the high rise hotels and all the shops and restaurants.

Did Not Enjoy the Cameras and Being Spied On

The Host had multiple cameras on the property and did not disclose on listing. I contacted VRBO and they delisted this property... and now they are listed in the description. Is it just me, or do you not like having you and your family spied on while vacationing? That's what happened to us. Listing was also vague regarding having visitors on the property. We had close friends renting a house down the street. We had them over, they had us over. Tom said that's a no-no meaning your visitors are "guests", even though obviously they did not stay. Kept entire deposit. Was something damaged? Hardly, we left the place super clean. All laundry was done and placed in required spots (yes...required). No, Tom made up a story about an upset neighbor which was totally bogus because we we friendly with her and her pets (Penny and Nickle). We were never up late (we have small children). Tom even suggested that our visitors parked across the street to allude the cameras which is weird because: 1. they were still in plain sight of the front door camera, 2. the back pole area camera sees everything (including visitors), 3. why would my friends care about any of this? 4. this was an admission that Host was using cameras in a prohibited fashion, and 5. it's just creepy. Getting checkout instructions the day before checkout that require all bedding and towels be washed and dried and placed in required spots is beyond ridiculous... what's the cleaning fee for? As a host on VRBO and other apps, I can say with certainty that Tom is sure to disappoint in the future. Who wants to be recorded and sacrifice their privacy, especially on vacation? Who wants to do the cleaners' job? Oh and just assume that Tom will interpret the poorly written language in his rental contract to justify keeping you security deposit. Not much guest can do. Aruba is great... stay somewhere else.

Beautiful house, great location, lovely host

We prefer renting a place when in Aruba and Tom's home was perfect for our Christmas and NY holiday this year. House is just as described and reviewed by others - pristine, beautifully decorated, full of amenities in the kitchen, outside and for the beach (chairs, coolers, even some snorkeling gear). Our family of five adults had lots of room to spread out -- most of the time spent around/in the pool or on one of the amazing beaches, some of which are walkable and others just a short drive away (and driving in Aruba is EASY!). Neighborhood is all residential with a bird sanctuary out the back, which you can walk through on the way to the beach. The house is located along some of the best snorkeling beaches in Aruba. Swam with 5 sea turtles right off Malmok beach one morning! There is a great little supermarket at the end of the street (Ting Wei) - very reasonable prices, nice wine and liquor selection and very nice people. Also has a ATM. House had a cabinet full of shopping bags to use. Really couldn't find a better location for Aruba -- away from all the bustle but close enough to everything! The bedrooms and baths were all big and had lots of closet space. Beds were very comfortable and the bedding very high quality. Steps up to the 2nd floor bedroom are steep but we didn't have any issue with them (and we're over 60). TVs all had streaming capability, nice for finding that yule log on Christmas day! The kitchen was very well appointed with high quality appliances. LOVED the Vitamix blender for our morning smoothies and frozen drinks! Was easily able to make our multi-course traditional Xmas dinner with no problems. Only thing the kitchen does not have is a microwave, which required a bit of an adjustment but easily made. Large, new washer and dryer in the garage were great to have on our extended stay. Speaking of Tom, what a great host and communicator. I sent him many wacky questions that he patiently answered within minutes or an hour most times. Access, check-in, check out were a breeze. If you can get this place, grab it! We'll be back.
