We needed a relaxing family break and luckily found this gem of a cottage. We visited Norfolk last year loved it and weren't disappointed this time. The house is just a stone's throw from Walcott Beach and was perfect for our family of four.
It was clean and tidy on arrival with everything we needed. As others have mentioned, the toilet and bathroom are compact, but it didn't bother us and we soon got used to them.
The owner, Diana, was quick to answer my silly questions and was very friendly.
The beds all had good mattresses and we all slept well, which is sometimes difficult in a strange house.
We only stayed five nights but could have stayed longer. The area is beautiful with long sandy beaches, some of them home to hundreds of seals, lots of interesting walks and all amenities nearby. We recommend the local Kingfisher chippy - excellent crisp batter and delicious chips. Check times though as it was closed when we first tried to eat there.
I can't recommend Coastguard Cottage enough and feel lucky we managed to find it.
