Would highly recommend
We stayed for a two night weekend break, the hotel was spotless and followed Covid guidelines. The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. All the staff were extremely welcoming. The hotel is well located for local trips and the small town is very nice with a few interesting individual shops. The highlight of the hotel is its restaurant, we decided to have dinner there both evenings and were very impressed with the quality of food with a good wine menu.

Great mini get away
Fantastic welcoming hotel and super dog friendly. Room was super clean and wonderfully decorated, the hotel is beautiful and you want help but look around at the stunning antiques. The breakfast pancakes were delicious! Felt very Covid safe and plenty of hand sanitiser.

Absolutely an amazing place, Lovely hosts who even waited for us as we arrived for check in a little late . Accommodation was fantastic Wonderful breakfast and can’t wait to visit again

Great Boutique Hotel
Lovely boutique hotel. Rooms are spacious and luxurious and spotlessly clean. Beds are very comfortable and there are all the little extras you would expect from this quality of hotel - fridge, complimentary water, nice toiletries, good quality linen/towels. Additionally there is full Sky TV available which was a bonus. Excellent breakfast. Ideal for couples.

Such a lovely hotel in a beautiful village. Staff are really friendly, you get such a personal touch. They really care. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The only gripes would be that the shutters let in the light which in summer means we lost sleep and there is noise from the street from early on which again wakes you up. We would stay again but might try a different room - we were in China.

Quirky hotel in the middle of a village. Was welcomed on arrival and booked in quickly. Instruction given on how to book breckfast as buffet service no longr available due to covid. Hand sanitiser availble in reception. We booked the Natural History room for an overnight stay as a friend had brought me a buy a gift voucher for a three course meal at this venue. The room was a good size but it didnt loom ad though the room had had a good clean in a while. Very dusty. Furniture looked as though it hsd been wiped over with a damp cloth and left to dry. Glass tops on furniture. The room also smelt a bit musty even though the doors to the patio area were open. However the bathroom which was a good size was spotless. The patio furniture could have done with replacing or protecting as had rusted. Garden rubbish had also been left in a corner The menu was quite limited but the food hot and enjoyable. Service was also good buf we did have to ask for a couple of things like sugar and butter. Its such a shame that they hadn't used the lockdown time to give the hotel a thorough clean. Very overpriced!

Boutique Norfolk Stay
The Dial House is lovely, we stayed on a Tuesday night. The check in was earlier than was advertised (5pm) so had to change our plans slightly but not an issue - unfortunately the bar / restaurant aren't open on a Monday and Tuesday so there are no staff around but there is an on call number if you need anything. We didn't know this until we checked in but it really wasn't an issue. We stayed in the Paris themed room which was lovely but very hot - there was a fan in the room but no AC which I guess is to be expected of a building of this age. Breakfast was lovely, as the main restaurant wasn't open we went for dinner at the pub over the road. Great location to go into north Norfolk or Norwich so would recommend and we will be back to try one of the other themed rooms.

Excellent 2 night stay - highly recommended
An ‘out of the ordinary’ stay, with rooms and public areas themed with interesting vintage furnishings and art - many of which are available to buy. Located in the heart of a small village, it was ideal as a base for exploring Norfolk. Staff all provided a personal, and friendly service, managing the COVID social distancing measures in a professional and considered manner. The food (dinner in particular) was fantastic; traditional with a modern edge, good quality ingredients, well presented - thoroughly enjoyable! A delightful change from the usual homogeneous hotel experience! Would highly recommend.

Birthday night treat
A warm welcome, with a lovely comfortable room. Great location with amenities close by. A good breakfast with friendly staff. Lovely pub across the road for when the hotel does not serve food on Sunday evenings or Mondays.

Staff are fabulous. Decoration is quirky. Food is great. If you plan to dine in more than three or four nights you need to know that the menu is limited and does not change often.

Italian palace is an amazing room, lovely relaxing stay. Staff need more training kept waiting whilst they help someone look at a mirror and another time whilst someone paid for lunch. I think there should be a member of staff booking hotel guests in & helping them. Cooked breakfast is ok but selections, particularly on fruit and pastries, is poor. The choice doesn’t match the price & quality of the room.

EXCEPTIONAL
Unfortunately, I did not sleep at all as the room was so hot and difficult to ventilate due to the small windows. I have never left a 5 star review before after no sleep, but this hotel and it's staff is exceptional in every other way, 5 star is the only rating I could give. The room was great, the food was exceptionally good too and the staff make you feel incredibly welcome. A gem, and we will definitely be back, when the weather is cooler

An excellent meal and night’s stay. The themed accommodation was excellent, well provisioned and in good condition (there was no hot water for a shower, which would normally be a big minus but I am going to assume that this was a minor plumbing issue - although it was initially claimed to be because other guests were showering too, but I tried over a period of an hour and never had hot water). The restaurant was very good with interesting food well presented and well cooked. Overall a very positive experience (but get the hot water fixed).

Great place for a sleep over.....
The staff complimented the hotel quality and lovely area. They are a young team but have a great manner. I was very impressed how the team leader dealt with an accident by a junior member of staff “don’t worry mistakes happen”. Bedroom was amazing as was the very spacious bathroom. Food was top quality am and pm
