Peaceful cabin under the beautiful oak trees!

Our stay was the perfect place when you need peace and quiet. The property and the Log cabin is clean and stocked with all the items you will need to stay. It is a very special cabin filled with the memoirs of the gentleman who used to live in it. Nickname, Mick! We left with a sense of needing to live less because you will have more in life.The owners are very responsive and are nearby if you need anything. We enjoyed the sunset looking over the beautiful pastures and the airplane runway is very unique to have right outside your doorstep. We left filling rejuvenated! Vacation plan was successful.

Beautiful Log Home

Very good, lots of dinner and cookware, linens and towels. Very clean and authentic . The scenery from the porch was enjoyable, especially seeing the airplanes. Chris was very accommodating to our needs.

Great place.

Good. Very few complaints. Wish her was a dishwasher. Or at least a drain rack for the dishes. I consider hand washing dishes to be unsanitary. Other than that the place was wonderful. Could use more lighting.

Amazing cabin and great location!

We absolutely loved the cabin. It’s next to an airfield and we were able to watch a small plane land. So cool! The cabin is dedicated to Nick a pilot and nicely decorated in his honor. It was nice to look at the photos and memorabilia of his life and family. The cabin is very nice and quiet. We highly recommend it!

The process was smooth. The owner was friendly and personal. The cabin is well maintained, cozy and comfortable. I'd recommend it for someone who likes the quiet, cozy and rustic environments.

The spot to unplug and relax!

My husband and I needed to get away from our busy lives to unwind for a bit. This location definitely hit the spot! The cabin was clean and decorated with everything aeronautical including personal memorabilia from the original owner, Mick. We enjoyed perusing everything and learning the history of the cabin and Mick. Our days were spent putting many miles on the front porch rockers from coffee in the morning to cold ones in the afternoon. We watched the beautiful sunsets every single night from those rockers and, as stated, they never disappoint! Sweet Milo greeted us on the porch one evening. We saw a flock of turkeys one morning along with a plane that took off and landed shortly after. I also saw several fox squirrels- something I've never seen before even though I've lived in Florida my whole life. We met Chris and Nanette who were so friendly and shared more history with us about the cabin and the property. We definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking to get away from it all!

Great place to stay

We were visiting my son in Ocklawaha, so this was very convenient. It was well cared for. Not too many planes from the airfield. We were never disturbed by them, and it was neat to watch them take off or land. House was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We would definitely recommend it!

A slice of heaven

Unfortunately because of family emergency are three-day stay became about a 10 hour stay. But we wouldn't trade anything for that. It is the most peaceful beautiful setting just an enjoyable and adorable cabin so well kept definitely deserves a 10-star review! Can't wait till we can come back when things calm down.

BEAUTIFUL cabin!

I would recommend this cabin to anyone. It was cute, quiet, and tucked off. The cabin was pristine and smelled great. Great view of the sunset too. Only suggestion: in the summer months, lower the air to a comfortable temperature as it took a whole day for the cabin to reach 73 degrees. It was about 80 degrees when we got there. Otherwise, it was a great stay 😊

What a great house to stay at while visiting realatives nearby! So clean, easy to find, beautiful grounds, sunsets each day were so pretty, the house has so many unique items inside to look at. So much better than staying at a chain hotel.

Amazing property!

Beautiful cabin on a great piece of property. Bonus is the airfield. We were able to see these awesome planes come and go. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful getaway.

Very nice place

The advertising is accurate. The place looks exactly as you see in the pictures. The owner is very responsive and friendly. The place is quiet, perfect to disconnect and relax. Very close to several beautiful springs where you can swim, I really enjoyed them. Excellent experience 😃
