The condo felt like a home. Comfortable, clean. Staff (Susan and other female) were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Everyone respectful and courteous including house guests. Walking distance from the beach. Good midpoint to visit north and south neighboring cities and towns. I have already highly recommended Pacific Plaza Resort to family and friends.

Enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. It’s right on the road that has access to the beach and across from a campground, so I imagine it’d be busy during peak season. We loved having our own porch too! Kitchen was a nice bonus too. If WiFi is important, ask which buildings have the best signal.

We love that the hotel/condo was walking distance to the beach and the hotel has a full kitchen for to cook our own food. This is a BIG plus for us because my husband has a health diet restrictions so it helps that there is a full kitchen for me to cook. This way we get to enjoy our stay and be near the beach. Will definitely come back.

Property/room was exactly as advertised. Quite area, shower was to die for (plenty of hot water, large entrance, bench seating). Bathroom was very large and well arranged. Bed was firmer than i would have liked, however i slept just fine. Only two defects that i found was the right side wooden blinds were broken and the fish shaped cabinet in Bathroom was coming loose from the wall. Room 101 Yes i would definitely stay again.

Comfortable quite unit. Rain and flooding during our stay but we were just far enough away not to be affected. Easy 4 minute walk to the beach to see the large waves. Also, enjoyed that it was less that a 3 mile walk to Pismo on the sand. Will stay here again.

Terrible communication
I was going to check in after 9:30 pm so I started calling about 1pm to get my room information nobody answers , I call about every hour and a male finally answered about 4pm , I tell him I’m checking in after you close the front office and would like my room information . He said someone will call me in about 1 hour with that because he couldn’t give it to me. By now it’s 8pm. I pull over and check my phone for an email and regular phone messages and there is nothing from them ! All day and all night the office message said “they are out or helping other guests “ By now it’s 10pm and have arrived but I have no room code or room # and office is closed! I go through my emails and called a number I found and thankfully someone answered and finally got my family in our unit . The room and stay was great ! The bed very comfortable and unit very cozy . This resort is so cute and cozy. Oceano is a beautiful place and everyone is very friendly. Just wish someone would have done what they said or given me my information during the day when I called,The rooms are already assigned . Instead they made me stress for hours. Please fix this terrible communication issue so that other guests will not go through what my family and I did . Thank you

The room I rented was a bit run down. Also the security lever that goes over the door was unusable as the tiny screws used to attach it were stripped and too small and provided no additional security.

We apologize you had a less than satisfactory experience. We do have a maintenance man onsite daily, who would have been able to take care of your door latch for you. When I finished getting checked in, I went to 1963 Thunderbird to move to my room, the battery was suddenly dead. The Property Manager ( Forgot his name ) Closed the office and drove me to Autozone to get tools. Incredibly kind and helpful.You rarely see this kind of human kindness in this day and age. I can't thank him enough because I just bought the Classic and was preparing to drive 2500 miles and this was not a good start. I highly recomment Pacific Plaza for cleanliness, hospitality and being that close to the Pacific Ocean was great. Sincerely, Ralph E. Merritt

The room we stayed in was newly renovated, well appointed and roomy. Full kitchen, dining area and living area. Bedroom area and storage great. Bathroom area a bit small. Toilet down low. Show fine. So areas for improvement. Outside Security Light burned out, two outside chai area dirty, broken ice tray((leaked), bathroom rug was very dirty, bottom king size mattress sheet needs to be fitted, Great value for the area. Relatively close to many attractions and day trips to Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Paso Robles and many more. Oceano’s wonderful beach area, the Great American Melodrama and more. BTW, the desk clerks Hadley and Heather are a delight. I forgot the others name but she was great as well. Of note: I dropped my credit card in the hotel parking lot. While having breakfast at the Rick and Rolla, Yum, the front desk called to tell me someone found it and turned it in. I’d rate the Pacific Plaza 8.5 out of 10.

Oceano doesn't really have much to offer, but if you're willing to drive a bit, San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande, Avila Beach, and Pismo are pretty fun

This Condominium was Amazing!!!!! You could hear the ocean from the front door and the beach was less than a 5 minute walk. We stayed 5 nights and never heard another person in the complex. The check in/check out process was quick and easy. The condo was fully loaded with Everything a home needs. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The internet had a strong connection the whole time. Best of all our stay here didn’t break the bank. I cannot say enough positive things about this complex. Go, vacation, stay awhile!!!!

So homey and spacious! I loved that there was a whole kitchen stocked( minus the groceries) with all of the kitchenware, pots, utensils and even a seasoning rack for you to cook. I really appreciated all the details in the kitchen. It was nice having a living room space divided from the bedroom, for uninterrupted naps for my baby. We truly loved our start, it felt like home away from home.

Party place not for family
Room was not thoroughly cleaned. Hair and dirt on the floor. Noise level is out of control at this property. We left early because we had about 3hrs of sleep since it seemed the whole building was room hopping and being extremely loud. Slamming doors, banging walls, Blasting music and tv, yelling and cussing. My 10 month old didn’t sleep much and kept crying because of it. I attempted to get ahold of someone on property to help but they informed me the next morning they are not a 24/7 hotel and to call PD for assistance next time. I will never return here since it’s clearly a party property with a lack of control on noise. Awful experience
